The living room is large and comfortably furnished for enjoyment. The kitchen is perfect for dining as it is fully equipped including a dishwasher. New construction condo with beautiful sunset views of the Sea of Cortez.

Upper two bedroom, 2 1/2 bath unit with all of your vacation amenities. Short walk to a nice local beach for all of your water activities. Walking distance to local Cantina's and restaurants. Local activities include swimming, boating, fishing, scuba, snorkeling, hiking, zip lines, ATV/UTV/Side by Sides, sunset cruises, whale watching (seasonal), golfing, shopping, dining and much more! Everything you would expect for your South of the Border vacation!

Situated near Tucson beach, guests can enjoy an afternoon of swimming in the warm Sea of Cortez, relaxing on the beach or playing in the sand. Later watch the sunset from the balcony.

Spend the day away, enjoying nearby attractions such as dining and shopping in the Malecon, Ziplining off of competition hill, or how about taking a ride on an ultra light plane over sandy beach! There are also many places to rent 4 wheelers and jet skis.

Wonderful experience! We’ve stayed here before and loved it just as much this time. We did have a hard time reaching the owner as we were wanting to add a day to our stay, but we worked it out by staying somewhere else for one night. Owner communication was great the last time we stayed here, so it’s probably not the norm for it to be tough to reach them. Thanks for sharing your place with us!

Scott's Condo - A Perfect Cholla Bay Getaway

Scott answered my questons quickly and provided great suggestions. Big, comfortable, refreshing upper level condo. View of water was perfect, easy walking access to Tucson Beach, JJ's, Xochitl's, and market. We loved the Cholla Bay vibe. Fully equipped kitchen made cooking easy. Beds were very comfy! Upon arrival the lockbox had no key in it when we opened it. We had to find a place with cell and internet and started trying to contact the owners. We sat in a bar in Mexico until they closed at 2:00am. We drove to a resort on Sandy Beach and were able to get a room which of course we had to pay for. Owners finally responded about 9:00am the next day.

This is a great location at the end of Pelican Point, walking distance from just about everything in Cholla Bay. The property itself was fully equipped with everything you could think of, including the blender! The deck and view from the roof were peaceful as well as beautiful. I will definitely be back.

Stayed for 3 nights in July and was presently surprised by how nice the place is - everything looks brand new and is super clean. Nice granite counters throughout, and fixtures and furniture look almost new. Also had TV, DVD player, games, videos for entertainment. Located within a few minutes walk to Tucson beach. Only negative was that i wish they had a washer/dryer. Would rent again.

I was very happy with this property. Beds were very comfy and everything was nice and clean. Kitchen is well stocked with everything necessary or “home” cooked meals. I love how the beach is right in front but we are away from the crowd. Also having the police patrol the area made me feel very safe. If there was anything I could of asked for different would be maybe directv or even just Netflix would be great but it wasn’t a necessity. I will for sure book again no doubt

Loved the location. Quiet and away from the resorts of Sandy Beach. Short walk to Tucson Beach. Not a 'classic' beach, but has plenty of sand especially when the tide is out and also interesting rock formations, dolphins jumping a little off the shore and not too many people. Places to eat and drink within walking distance and a small story to pick up staples. Easy 15-20 minute drive in to town for more shopping and eating. The condo was great. Brand new and nicely laid out and designed. A gorgeous 180 degree view of the water from the rooftop deck. Because it is so new, it is lacking some things that other renters tend to leave behind - e.g. salt, dishwasher soap, cooking oil, etc so come prepared. We will be back.

My wife and I fell in love with Rocky Point over 20 years ago. We built our first rental condo in 2004 and just recently decided to build 4 more while we're still young enough to do it! Our goal is to retire in this wonderful community along with many other folks we've learned to know and love! The locals are very friendly and always welcome us with a hand shake and a smile!

Why they chose this property

We've watched what used to be a small fishing town evolve into a beautiful vacation spot with a similar look and feel of Cabo San still on a smaller scale. The slower pace of Rocky Point as compared to other popular vacation spots is as welcoming as it is relaxing making it much more family friendly than other popular hot spots. However, when you've had all of the relaxation that you can stand, a short drive or cab ride into The Malecon (aka: Fish Market) provides plenty of dining, dancing, music and shopping enough to keep even the busiest of people on their toes! The variety of restaurants, shops, and bars provide fun for every age group!! Try them all and pick your favorites because they each offer something just a little different than the next one!

What makes this property unique

Our Condos are located in a smaller beach community making them much more relaxing and family friendly. The waters on Tucson Beach in Cholla Bay are typically calmer than other areas of the Sea of Cortez making this area easier to swim, float, snorkel, jet ski, paddle name it! Cholla Bay has one of the world's largest tide fluctuations making it a great place to view many of the living reefs that surround the areas next to the soft sandy beaches. When the tide is out, take a long stroll into the sand and explore the little gifts that the sea leaves behind such as shells with little hermit crabs living inside of them. And yes, if you find shells that you want to take home, please be sure that the shell is not home to a living creature, we love those little guys!
