Tamarisk is a light, and bright coastal cottage, in the picturesque village of Moelfre, offering an idyllic escape with views of the nearby sea and Lligwy Beach. Perfectly set up for families, Tamarisk features a spacious king-size bedroom and a triple bunk bedroom.
Step inside, and you'll be greeted by a spacious and inviting layout. The open-plan conservatory dining area, bathed in natural light, serves as the heart of the home. We have stayed at Tamarisk numerous times and it is always lovely and clean. Well equipped kitchen, smallish rooms but easy to keep warm (once you work out how to use the heaters), cosy bed and lovely big fluffy bathroom towels. Garden is enclosed for the dogs but the wall is only around 4 feet high so if you have a dog that jumps then they could escape. Have already booked again for next year.

Another great stay
Another great stay in this excellent property. As many reviews state perfect location and very clean and warm. Not sure whether logs are now included? Previously we’ve had an initial load plus kindling. All the radiators were off on arrival so the property was very cold. It only takes a few hours to warm up so not a problem, we went for an amazing cliff top walk in the meantime. We will be booking again.

Second visit to Tamarisk and not disappointed.
This was our second visit to Tamarisk and hopefully will not be our last.
It's a lovely clean property with lots of great touches for a lovely stay.
We are a family of four adults and one dog and found the setup ideal. The property was spotless and the welcome pack was much appreciated.
The outdoor space is ideal, secure for our dog and lots of seating areas to enjoy the views. We did have a maintenance issue with the outdoor seating but this was resolved the following day and the replacement seating was a big improvement. Great that it was sorted so promptly.
Location wise it's a short walk to the centre of Moelfre and to the coastal path leading to a lovely dog friendly beach.

Another delightful stay in Moelfre
Tamarisk is in a fabulous location within Moelfre as you can walk into the village easily and get on to the coastal path and walk to Lligwy which we enjoyed doing. We had a mix of weather but the afternoons were generally sunny so we could enjoy the garden and it's fabulous views, we had two stunning sunsets! Our friends came along for a couple of nights and got up early to go fishing off the rocks in the village, they didn't catch any fish but were greeted by a lovely large seal who was probably fishing too. As usual AHL provided a lovely welcome pack which was great, the local shop has now closed so either bring provisions with you or stop at the shop in Benllech on your way to the house. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again.

Problems
Problems with TV, no channels set, no instructions provided as to way to view regular TV channels until maintenance man provided them, lamp in bedroom not working. Kitchen bin lid not operating properly. The first 2 items were rectified promptly, thank you. Front steps steep, would benefit from a handrail. Kitchen scissors needed. Only 1 small kitchen bin liner provided. Would be good to know when external bin emptied. Also previous occupants had left rubbish under & beside bin in store which I had to clear. Usually properties provide cleaning cloths & sprays to assist cleaning pre departure. Overall the service provided by Anglesey holiday letting was very good & the property was cleaned to a good standard, thank you. Noticed that external outlet from kitchen sink overflows regularly on to drive.

A home from home
We were so impressed with Tamarisk. By far the cleanest place we have ever stayed, perfect location, a real home from home feel with comfortable beds, a welcome hamper and plenty of space for the family including the dog! The garden is nice and well kept, including a bbq and sea views. The location is amazing to explore Moelfre, with coastal walks, the lifeguard centre, a local pub and cafe on the corner. The views of the bay are beautiful and the locals were very welcoming on our morning dog walks. We can’t wait to go back!

Perfect holiday accommodation in a beautiful area.
This was our second visit to Tamerisk.The accommodation is fabulous, a sea view front & back & a beautiful garden to sit in. The perfect location tucked away in a very peaceful location & coastal walks straight from the door !! Can’t wait to go back.
