About this property

The Flints - sleeps 3 guests in 2 bedrooms

This recently renovated 2-bedroom brick and flint cottage offers a perfect blend of comfort and style, ideal for a couple or small family. Boasting a spacious king-sized bedroom and a cosy single bedroom, the property has been fitted to a high standard throughout.

The open-plan living space is perfect for everyday living; with a stylish kitchen, dining table, and inviting living room area featuring a log burner, providing a warm, welcoming atmosphere all year round. The ground-floor bathroom has underfloor heating, heated towel rail, and a walk-in shower for added convenience.

To the rear of the cottage, there's a delightful outdoor seating area, providing a peaceful retreat. The property also benefits from ample free on-street parking.

Nestled between the 14th-century church and local village pub - both less than a minute's walk away - the cottage is perfectly located for easy access to coastal and inland routes, making it easy to explore North Norfolk.

Just 5 minutes' drive to the coastal villages of Morston (for boat trips out to Blakeney point to see wildlife, like birds and seals), Blakeney and Cley, and 4 miles from the Georgian town of Holt.

The village features a peaceful bridleway that leads down to the next village, and for those seeking a longer wander, you can meander on through open fields, woodlands, and country lanes to the Bayfield Estate, where a couple of cafes offer a lovely place to relax and unwind.

One small to medium-sized, well-behaved dog is welcome.

We’ve stayed in many holiday cottage's but this gem really is the best we’ve stayed in. Everything was just first class & on arrival there was milk, fudge, cookies & crisps which was a very kind gesture by the owner. This property is close to the seaside & plenty of other things to do. We would definitely stay at the Flints again.

Pretty Cottage

Light and airy cottage with a lovely outside courtyard Location is in quiet village, so a car is a must. I would not recommend the cottage for elderly or infirm as the stairs are painted (so could be slippery) narrow, and the head height is limited also. The main bedroom is roomy with plenty of storage, the bed is comfortable, the sheets are not they are bobbly and prickly, I had to sleep on my dressing gown. Bathroom is roomy, nice shower although the sealant is grubby and needs replacing, limited storage which I would suggest improving. Nice fluffy white towels which smelt so nice. The lounge, kitchen and diner is spacious all in one leading out to a pleasant courtyard The sofa is low and uncomfortable, as are the small dining chairs at the dining table The kitchen is well equipped. There were no cleaning materials, just hand soap and washing up liquid All in all it was ok, but wouldn’t go back

Thank you for your feedback. The owner takes all comments very constructively, but appreciates that the cottage cannot meet everybody's expectations. They have worked hard to achieve a 5-star rating on Airbnb, but will take on board your comments as they look to maintain the cottage's popularity.

Fantastic Norfolk Cottage

There are not enough words or complimentary adjectives to describe this fantastic cottage. It has been thoughtfully and beautifully renovated, and I was impressed with all the 'little touches' which really added to the enjoyment. The overall cleanliness and standard of furnishings and fittings is excellent. I spent a wonderful five days here, and as a 75 year old found everything comfortable and had no issues. The sunny, pretty courtyard garden was an added bonus. The cottage is in a superb village location close to the coast and surrounding countryside, making day trips really accessible, but with the added bonus of a pub within a short walking distance. I have stayed in many properties over the years, but I would highly recommend a stay at The Flints to anyone, so if you are looking for a quality place to stay in Norfolk this is it!. I can't wait to return.

A little Norfolk gem!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Flints and couldn’t recommend it enough. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The cottage was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The location was perfect — peaceful and relaxing, with lovely surroundings and plenty to explore nearby. Every little detail had clearly been thought through, making it feel like a real home away from home, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and we had everything we needed for an stress-free break. Our host Sarah was fantastic — friendly, helpful, and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our stay. We will be back again!
