The view from this three-bedroom, three-bath condominium can’t be beat! It features a beautiful beachfront view from the master bedroom, the living areas, and a spacious balcony.
Fully appointed kitchen includes an eat-in breakfast area, microwave, Coffee pot, Keurig, standalone ice maker, dishwasher and laundry room with full-size washer and dryer. Other features include 9 foot ceilings throughout, ceiling fans, central heating and air conditioning, and a large master bath with a whirlpool tub, separate glass-enclosed shower, double vanity and lots of closet space.
All bathrooms and kitchen have been remodeled in early 2026.

Great location of condo unit

We had small children so location so close the beach and shower was key. Big patio for beach toys. There is actually a closet of “donated” beach supplies on the patio. The only issues we had were biting flies and water was covered in seaweed one day- not the fault of the condo.

The resort is beautiful and the staff was quick to respond if we had any questions. The furnishings were nice and the washer/dryer was great. I would suggest updating the stove, microwave, and a few of the utensils. We were very appreciative of the COVID protocols that were used for cleaning the condo.

Ocean View Heaven

When booking, I determined my soul needed a cup of coffee with a view. This place delivered! The first day I drank coffee on the back patio with dolphins swimming right in front of me. The furniture has since been updated from the pics. It’s a very relaxing place to vacation. Whether cooking, drinking coffee in the morning or hanging out at the condo, your eyes are drawn out to the ocean. So peaceful. Convenient access to the beach. Go set your tent out in the morning and by 11:00 enjoy your spot on the sand. The breeze off the water is fabulous. There is a lot to do in Gulf Shores and the drive into town each day was not an issue. I would stay here again!

My grandson was coming in on Wednesday night after eight and I was told I would have to buy a daily pass for $25 and the car would have to be off property at 10 o’clock that night, this despite the fact that I had another grandson who was leaving the next morning who had a parking pass. They would not allow me to use that parking pass and gave me the number of a place we could park his car which would charge $50 for the night. Absolutely unbelievable that there couldn’t be some common sense applied here.

Peaceful beach escape

Reviewer Comments: We rented this condo because we had a baseball tournament in Gulf Shores and many of the families from our team were staying in this neighborhood. I picked 106 East condo because it had a view of the ocean and easy access to the boardwalk. I liked the pictures of the condo online. We were extremely pleased with this condo. The beach themed decorations made it a comfortable and peaceful place to stay. The view to the beach was spectacular! The condo was clean and had what we needed for the stay. Our children played tennis everyday and swam in the indoor pool and hot tub. It was too cool to use the outdoor pool. The tennis courts need to be updated. We would definitely stay in 106 East again!

We enjoyed the pool due to bad weather and red flags on the beach. We were disappointed in the housekeeping. We had toddlers and realized the floors were not cleaned. The dishes were left in the dishwasher and towels were left in the dryer. We had stains on the bedsheets. The office was nice enough to give us additional flat sheets, but there were no extra fitted sheets. Our 3-year-old grandson slipped walking into the bathroom at the pool house and hit his head hard on the tile which resulted in an ER visit. There needs to be a mat to avoid people slipping.

The property itself is a great idea, good location and very good for those who do not like crowds. This unit was very well maintained, appeared to be upgraded recently.The only flaw with this property is the politics of the property. The involvement from the HOA is ridiculous.The parking charges are nothing short of gouging. After paying $4000-$5000 for my unit I was charged $55 for my personal vehicle. To make matters worse, I had to pay another $55 for a second vehicle, and was told there was no allowances for a third vehicle. If you have more than 2, you have to park at the pizza shack down the road. ( we were only 1 of 10 vehicles in the parking lot for our entire stay)For these reasons and these reasons alone, we are considering staying at Beach club or renting a house next year.

Gives a more Luxurious beech decor. However, it is need of o few updates. The appliances desperately need updating. The fridge handle is stained brown and should be white. The screen door to the bedroom balcony was off and leaned up against the door blocking our entrance through the bedroom. The patio furniture desperately needs updating too. One can tell that this unit was decorated with thoughtful beauty and quality originally; now it is just time for some quality updates. Kitchen is very well stocked. The resort landscaping was not as lush and maintained as it has been on previous years. Many of the flowers were dead.Grass was dead. We do plan on returning to this resort and unit. We hope that the resort and unit will maintain their quality of excellence that we have come to expect though!

Reviewer Comments: The condo has easy access to beach which made it nice with kids. Although the unit was not very clean at check in. The floors were dirty, the shower had other people’s hair in it and the sink and counters were dirty. The windows were so dirty you couldn’t see out the back. We had to go buy windex and clean them. They had only a couple towels in unit. We had to call office for clean towels. The unit does not seem to be kept up and really needs a paint job and a through cleaning. Considering check in is now at 5pm, the unit should be spotless. Additionally, there is too much furniture in the bedrooms. Having a queen and twin in one of the rooms takes all the space. The other bedroom had a king that takes up all the room space. Made it difficult to use the bedrooms with a pack and play.

Disappointed in the new price gouging.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Excellent experience as always. We have stayed here the past 4 years and loved it, and were excited to book again this year. However, that’s when the disappointments came. Martinique has always given a rebooking discount of $100. This year they have lowered it to $50. Also, we paid approximately $3,300 for a 3 bedroom condo, and have paid around that with minor price fluctuations throughout the years as should be expected. When we went to rebook for next year after our week stay, Martinique informed us that the price would be over $5,000 for the week. About a 50% increase. When I asked the reason, they said it looks like people are tired of staying out due to Covid and are ready to get out. An open admission of price gouging. We’re charging more because we believe people will spend it. Unfortunately, we will not be spending it and will be looking elsewhere to take our family vacation. Hopefully to a place that is just as lovely, but more ethical. For that reason alone we will not be returning, nor will we be referring friends and family to this place as we have done in the past.

The rental we stayed in 106East was perfect for our family. The only issue we had was the cable went out a couple of times during our stay. It was out for over 24 hours on Friday. We really enjoyed our stay.
