About this property

Upgraded resort condo with stunning ocean views

Papakea B403 is a 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom condo on the 4th floor with elevator access and can accommodate up to 8 guests. The nightly rate is for up t o6 guests and for each additional guest a $75 per night will be applied to the rental rate. Enjoy a fully equipped and updated kitchen with beautiful cabinets, stainless steel appliances, and granite counter tops. A split air conditioning system provides cold air to all rooms! The master bedroom has a King size bed. The second bedrooms offers a Queen size bed and the loft bedroom has two Twin beds and an en-suite bathroom (a unique floor plan featuring three bathrooms!) The living room has a spacious sleeper sofa and a flat screen TV. All bathrooms have been beautifully remodeled and feature walk-in showers. The condo also includes a washer and dryer. The perfect Papakea condo with many upgrades, great resort location and ocean views!

*** Papakea is currently undergoing a property-wide plumbing renovation. This condo is not under repair, however, please note the information below:
- Standard work hours for this project will be from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday unless authorized for weekend work.
- Contractors will be present on the property to begin quieter preparatory tasks as early as 7:00 AM.
- To minimize possible disruption, louder tasks will not start before 10:00 AM.
- Dates are subject to change. Not all units will be affected at the same time.
We have been notified that the project is pending completion, but not guaranteed by June 2026. ***

Papakea Resort offers lush tropical landscaping, koi lagoon ponds, oceanfront saltwater pools, hot tubs, shuffleboards, golf greens, pickleball, and tennis courts! It is located just North of the famous Ka'anapali Beach. Walk to nearby local shops, cafes, restaurants, and grocery stores. It is a quick drive to Whalers Village and many of Maui's top beaches like Kaanapali, Napili Bay, and Kapalua Bay. Parking is free for one vehicle; additional vehicles are $5/day. This fee is collected by the Resort's Front Desk staff upon arrival.

Papakea is a great place for Familys

B403 is a perfect setup for a family vacation. Each bedroom has a bathroom. The unit was well equipped. Plenty of beach, chairs, snorkel equipment, a boogie board and several coolers.The outdoor grill is great for making simple dinners.

Perfect family vacation spot!

We loved staying at Papakea B403. The location was beautiful and so close to the ocean. The view was amazing, and we loved that we were in walking distance to local restaurants and stores. The unit itself was perfect for our family We will definitely be back!

Great property supplied everything they advertised. Beautiful view, convenient location. Only downside is the morning noise on and off property. Coming from eastern standard time zone, the 7 am garbage and construction noise is a bit early, but just helps get our day started earlier.

Wonderful stay at Papakea!

If you want to stay at Papakea, this place is fantastic! Great location with easy access to both the pool/grills and main street for coffee shops, restaurants, etc. It had 2 lovely bedrooms and a loft space so we comfortable slept 6 adults and 1 toddler. Highly recommend!

Awesome condo in great location.

My family and I enjoyed our stay in this condo unit, which has unobstructed ocean view. It's within walking distance to Times market, food trucks and more restaurants. We'd come back to this place soon!

Great Family Vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Papakea with 3 adults and 2 children ages 5 & 2. The grounds are stunning. Wonderful location with walking distance to enough (beach, playground, coffee shop, supermarket, food trucks) and a short drive to get to nicer beaches and larger shops. The MPS staff was incredibly communicative and the unit was exactly as described. We hope to be back someday and would happily stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Papakea B403! The condo had everything we needed to make our vacation one to remember! Each evening we were entertained by the amazing and picturesque sunsets. Just sit on the patio and soak in the beauty!! The Papakea staff were friendly and professional. Check-in was a breeze! Thank you!

Great location and nice resort

Plenty of room. Loved the Tommy Bahama beach chairs, boogie board, snorkel equipment, portable crib and beach towels. Well equipped. Only issues was the refrigerator freezer door is janky and is super hard to open and close. This needs to be repaired.

Beautiful Views!

We recently enjoyed a stay at Papakea with our family. The condo was very clean and the best equipped kitchen with every appliance and gadget you might require during your stay! The views off of the lanai are stunning and we enjoyed sunset dinners most nights from our unit! The staff were very friendly and checked in on us repeatedly to make sure everything was going okay and to offer assistance. Overall the resort is fairly quiet but the pool area was clean and well maintained and the staff regularly cleaned the lounge chairs. I will absolutely look to rent again at Papakea on my next trip to Maui!

Papakea B403 view of the ocean is gorgeous! Spacious for 6 adults. We left the front and back door open and the breeze feels so good! Kitchen came standard with amenities. Love that washer and dryer had detergent and dryer sheets. All bathrooms came with extra towels and soap/shampoo/lotion. One of the bedroom closet have all swim toys/umbrella/beach chairs/snorkel gears/etc… (we didn't use) Will definitely stay here again.

There were 7 of us staying here. The property was great. Master bedroom is gigantic. Upstairs room was just fine even though it’s a loft. The condo was clean with lots of kitchen supplies. The condo shows signs of use but it is very livable. The property was quiet even when lots of people were at the pool. No direct access to the beach but only a couple of blocks away-easy walk. Great view of ocean and whales from condo. Good size elevators easily accessible

Where is the comfort?

My husband and I ended up going to a hotel, the two downstairs bedrooms were ok, but there were three couples and we were in the loft. The two twin beds were so old that the springs creaked and were extremely uncomfortable… The place could have been cleaner, The chairs and couch were grimy, it looks like The place only received a surface clean., But we were just there for five days, so we cleaned and enjoyed the balcony with this beautiful view of the ocean. Sorry it’s not a better review, but you really need to replace the beds with something more comfortable. Thank you to the management for an easy check in and check out, you were excellent.

We had a great stay (I would rate overall 4 1/2) with 3 bedrooms for 5 adults and one infant. The grounds are lovely, the views from the unit and grounds are beautiful, and the location is a short walk to the north end of the Ka'anapali Beach Walkway (near Duke's restaurant). We had one issue with an air conditioner leak that required plumbers , but this was no one's fault, and both the plumbers and the manager with My Perfect Stays handled the situation immediately and professionally. My two pieces of advice would be to upgrade the hall bathroom, which shows quite a bit of wear, and make it possible to control the air conditioning units from each area separately, instead of all being controlled in the primary bedroom (or maybe we just couldn't figure it out!). Thanks for a great stay!

Great stay in West Maui!

Had a great stay at this 3 bedroom 3 bathroom rental property on the Papakea Resort. The grounds of the resort are absolutely beautiful. The condo is well maintained and clean enough. The 3rd bedroom, is not exactly a bedroom, but a loft with its own bathroom, and is located up the stairs. This is it important to know, in case anyone has their own issues with steps. My Perfect Stays was an excellent property management company, who helped us quickly when we needed assistance with the entrance code to the unit. The unit has great air conditioning, but they are on timers which can be annoying because they need to be reset every 6 hours. This is something that should be eliminated. Overall, I would stay at the resort again.

Perfect place in paradise

Perfect place for a family. The condo had a washer and dryer and tons of extras that made it so much easier. There were tennis rackets/balls for the tennis courts, putters and balls for the putting greens, beach towels and beach bags, plus two insulated bags and coolers for beach days. There was also a beach umbrella and probably 8-10 pairs of snorkels/fin sets, so no need to rent any. The location of the property is perfect, close to D.T. Fleming Beach which isn’t as busy, has bathrooms and a lifeguard. It is also 5 min from downtown Lahaina with a grocery story, drugstore, etc. There are multiple air conditioning units in the condo so it is easily kept cool. The property itself is very well kept and clean. The outdoor grills are cleaned every day. There is a lot of parking for residents of Papakea and many shops within walking distance. We would recommend this place to anyone.

It was a great stay. The location was near (few minutes walk) to some sandy beaches and great snorkeling area. There is an ABC store and some restaurants nearby. There is a grocery store a minute drive out. The condo itself is also great. It was on the top floor and had an ocean view where you can see the sunset. Rooms were clean and well stocked. They also stock us with extra towels and beach chairs. We were also right next to the pool. Some potential downsides. * No gym (not sure if the description mentioned it) * Resort fee is added by Papakea when you pick up your parking pass (not sure if the description mentioned it) * They have a partial list of condiments (for example no soy sauce) * One table (for dining). No additional work table. We highly recommend the unit and would stay there again.

The view and location were good. The resort grounds were well kept. The unit itself was a disaster. The refrigerator was broken when we arrived and not repaired for at least 24 hours and the freezer never worked properly. We called maintenance numerous times with a list of things not working from shower doors off the track, to a leaky dishwasher, to a leaky toilet, to fan switches that didn’t work, and so on, it became comical. The beach chairs and umbrellas were falling apart, the carpet is dirty and worn and the vacuum smells when you run it. This unit needs a total redo. We would not recommend staying in this unit. My Perfect Stays was responsive, they did contact the unit owner and I received a very minuscule refund. My Perfect Stays told me I should understand that homes have problems but why would I want to deal with house problems while on vacation? This was definitely not my perfect stay.
