Located in the artists' district of Olde Englewood Village, within walking distance to restaurants, ice cream parlor, grocery store, drugstore, banks, library, art centers and 5 minutes' drive from Englewood Beaches and beautiful Stump Pass Beach State Park. The location of this duplex is unique in that it is within walking distance of a lot of amenities around Dearborn Street, including waterfront Indian Mound Park & Cherokee Park.
There are many things to do in the area for recreation and relaxation including boating, fishing, golf, shopping, live music and great restaurants. Boca Grande and Gasparilla Island is 25minutes away, Sarasota is 45 minutes away, Orlando, 2 and1/2 hours away and Fort Myers, 1 hour away. 
In Olde Englewood, there are several excellent restaurants, many having live music: Mango Bistro, Englewoods on Dearborn, Vino Loco, Comadres Mexican Restaurant, La Stanza Italian Restaurant, Bobarino's Pizzeria and Joe Maxx Coffee Shop, which has great coffee and pastries. In addition, there is Snook's Bayside Bar & Grill at Royal Palm Marina. All of these restaurants offer delicious food and a fun atmosphere.
This duplex has everything you will need for an enjoyable Florida vacation. There is a beautiful wood deck with a privacy fence. The deck is accessed directly from the cottage so you can go outside to enjoy the incredible Florida mornings, sitting drinking a cup of coffee and reading the morning paper. And in the evenings, you can enjoy sunsets and barbecue.
The kitchen is fully equiped with a stove, refrigerator, microwave, garbage disposal, toaster, blender, pots & pans and dishes, glasses, cups, silverware and cooking utensils and a dine in bar with 4 bar stools. The outdoor area has a large wooden table with 4 chairs, as well as 2 lounge chairs and a barbeque.
The spacious bedroom has a queen-sized bed, night stands, chest of drawers and a large closet. The bathroom has an in-tub shower. 
The bright and cheery living room with sleeper futton, 42-inch HD television with the television service provided. WiFi is included.
Englewood Beach on Manasota Key is 5 minutes' drive away and here you will find several excellent restaurants for lunch or dinner, most of which also provide live music. Some of these are Lock and Key, SandBar Tiki and Grille, the White Elephant, The Gulfview Grill, and the Beach Road Wine Bar and Bistro.

We had an enjoyable stay at Casa Soleil! It was very cute and functional. The large closet gave us room to put all of our things away and thus gave us a settled feeling. It was a perfect location for us. I wouldn’t hesitate to rent there again.

Casa Soleil

We rented Casa Soleil for 3 months and it was wonderful. It's small, but perfect for 2 people. The outdoor deck is a great place to hang out. You can't beat the locstion, close to downtown (Farmers Market, shops, restaurants). Indian Mound Park and Lemon Bay are nearby too. There were a few minor issues, but our hosts took them quickly. Would rent there again.

Friendly proprietors. We would have appreciated a better equipped kitchen. All pots and pans had very warped bottoms making cooking in them quite difficult.

A lovely hideaway for two . We were the only ‘Brits’ in the village. Great for National parks, beaches and walks. Quiet and peaceful and away from the busy areas of Florida. Better with a car. Saw ‘gators’, at Myannaka - recommenced. Boat tour was excellent at nearby Lemon bay tours - saw loads of dolphins and even manatees in the distance. Ospreys nesting at Stump cross beach. Jays in the garden. Maria’s for breakfast around the corner & good restaurants in town.

Amazing place to stay!

We loved Casa Soliel. It was clean and exactly as described. The neighborhood is quiet, safe, and close to everything. We biked to Dearborn St (restaurants & shopping), Pickleball courts and the beach (free yoga daily). Marie & Ricardo were easy to contact and great hosts. We plan to stay here again!

Our visit to Englewood was great, and this quaint home in a great location allowed us to walk to many restaurants and stores, parks, and the farmer’s market and seafood festival. Wonderful beaches were only a short drive, and the area has a lot to offer.

Pros: adorable, centrally located, has all amenities, Ricardo was very helpful. Cons: no comfortable place to sit. Conclusions: perfect for active couples for a week or weekend. As sedentary seniors, our 3 weeks was too long. Suggestion: Grab bars in the tub.

Casa Soleil was a great duplex which provided us a great vacation!

We really had a great time in Englewood and the wonderful surrounding areas. Your house was so cheerful with your great colors and decor! It was so inviting and each evening it provided us a great, quiet place to enjoy a meal, kick back and get a good nights rest for our next adventure. And it is in a nice quiet neighborhood. Several nights we viewed the sunset by walking just a few blocks to the park. The water filter container in the frig was an awesome idea! We filled it daily! It provided us with good, safe and needed drinking water on our hikes and times at the beaches. And we saved the environment. At one of the parks, we picked up a Sarasota County map. It was with us all the time as it shows and describes many, many parks, preserves, and beaches. Be sure to pick one up! We were blessed by several people we met on our many hikes. People on our hikes were so friendly and provided us with info on animals to watch for and other great places to visit and see wildlife. We found so many places to go hiking! When we were tired we visited the "Venice Rookery". Incredible island of nesting birds with their babies. The many gulf beaches were great as we strolled along and saw several dolphins! Thanks for a great place!

Although this property was not right on the beach, it was very close. Also many restaurants and shops were within walking distance. There was everything there that you would need. We had 4 people staying there with plenty of room. We would definitely stay there again

Marie is from France and a Ricardo from Brazil and between the 2 of us we have lived and traveled in many places around the World and Englewood remains our favorite little spot we call home. We speak French, Portuguese, some Spanish and Italian and of course, English! ; )
