Welcome! Conveniently located in the popular southern end of SSI. You will be within walking distance of many popular locations including Red Fern Village, known for it's restaraunts, shops and live music. Island Retreat is less than 2 miles from St. Simons Pier Village as well as East Beach. There is plenty to do and see while visiting including; visiting one of the several parks, shopping, golfing, trolley tours, learning about the history of the the old fort and much, much more! During the summer there is a splash pad for the little ones! There are often weekly concerts or movies under the stars at Neptune Park and festivals at the Mary Ross Waterfront Park. We’re excited to have you stay!

We currently live in Watkinsville, Georgia, just outside of Athens. We are the proud parents of one beautiful little girl and two pups!
Why they chose this property
We have visited St. Simons Island regularly for the past several years. We'd talked several times about wanting to one day own a place so that we could visit any time we'd like. On a whim, we decided to look at a few properties while we were visiting for Georgia/Florida weekend.......four weeks later we were closing on a condo! We're excited for this next journey in our lives. We've spent much time and thought trying to turn this little condo into a relaxing and welcoming place that you'll enjoy so much that you can't wait to get back! We look forward to sharing our place with our friends and family! If there is anything that we can do to improve your stay in the future, please feel free to share your thoughts! In the meantime, curl up and read a book, enjoy the beach, check out the island, enjoy the food and most importantly.....relax!
What makes this property unique
We worked hard on the condo after we purchased it in order to make it feel like home. We even refinished most of the furniture pieces ourselves! We also tried to ensure that we had everything at the condo that we needed while visiting so that we could simply pack a bag of clothes and show up.....we hope you'll have everything that you need as well and if not, please let us know what we can do to make your stay better!
