The smallest city in the UK, St. Davids, is nearby, with its majestic cathedral, Bishop’s Palace, National Park visitor centre and the bustling but quaint seaside resort of Tenby can be reached in about forty minutes, with its colourful, painted Georgian properties set along the bay, and a variety of restaurants and shops, a gallery and array of unique little shops, public houses and eating places. Also well worth a visit are Barafundle Beach, Porthgain, the fossil beach of Marloe Sands and Newgale Beach, great for surfing and watersports, while cycling, fishing, rock climbing and coasteering can also be enjoyed in the area.
