Spring Garden Cottage, Grizebeck is a former 18th century Lakeland farm workers cottage. Now it provides a warm and cosy welcome to holidaymakers looking for a base in a quieter part of the Lake District to explore the southern and western lakes or the Duddon Estuary. Being only 2 miles from the Cumbria Coastal Way exploring this stunning area surrounded by mountain views couldn't be easier. Cyclists can also enjoy the quieter country roads or head to nearby Grizedale Forest for mountain bike trails for all abilities. Couples or families can be enjoying beach days, lake cruises or climbing England's highest mountain Scafell, all within a short drive of the cottage. With traditional features including beams and an Inglenook fireplace housing a wood burning stove which does not look out of place amongst the modern day furnishings the cottage provides a homely feel you will long to return to after a days exploring. On the days you don't want to venture far, relax by the beck that flows past the bottom of the sunny enclosed back garden enjoying a barbeque or if you prefer not to cook, head to the dog friendly pub opposite for culinary delights.

Access the cottage through the porch to an inviting living room with a canopy of beams, comfy seating including reclining chairs are positioned around the wood burning stove and HDTV with Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, standard cable/satellite and DVD player. The dining kitchen is equipped to rustle up a family meal with electric oven and induction hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and washing machine which can be enjoyed together at the dining table.

As evening descends there are 2 comfy bedrooms, furnished and equipped for a restful nights sleep; a double and twin bedroom. The family bathroom has a shower over the bath and hand basin.

All gas, electric, an initial supply of logs, bed linen and towels are provided. Cot and highchair available on request. Private parking for 1 car to the front of the cottage. There is an enclosed rear garden with picnic bench surrounded by flowers and herbs and a BBQ for guests use.
