Appartement confortable au premier Ă©tage

Brantfield House est une grande maison victorienne située dans des jardins matures dans un endroit calme avec vue sur le village de Bowness et le lac Windermere. L'appartement est au premier étage à l'avant de la maison, avec des chambres magnifiquement proportionnées offrant une vue spectaculaire sur le lac et les collines environnantes.


L'appartement est continuellement mis à jour et en janvier 2018, une nouvelle salle de bain a été installée. Toutes les chambres sont bien meublées, spacieuses, lumineuses et aérées. L'appartement peut accueillir 4 personnes dans deux chambres, la chambre principale a un lit king-size et la deuxiÚme chambre a des lits jumeaux. Tous les lits ont été remplacés en septembre 2015. Chaque chambre dispose de nombreux rangements et la chambre lits jumeaux dispose d'une télévision et d'une PS2

La salle de bain a une douche, des toilettes et un lavabo. La cuisine est récemment équipée d'un grand espace de travail et comprend un four, une plaque de cuisson, un réfrigérateur / congélateur, un four micro-ondes, un grille-pain, une laveuse et un lave-vaisselle. Le grand salon / salle à manger a été récemment redécoré et est confortablement meublé avec des canapés en cuir et une table à manger dans la baie vitrée. Il y a une télévision avec TNT et lecteurs DVD / vidéo et une sélection de DVD, vidéos, livres et jeux. L'appartement dispose d'un accÚs wifi gratuit. Cette chambre dispose d'une baie vitrée permettant une vue spectaculaire sur le lac Windermere et les collines environnantes.

Stayed here for the second time and found it to be a perfect base for bowness and the lakes.Great communication from Christine the host prior to our stay to make check in nice and easy.Apartment has all the facilities that you need for your stay, spotlessly clean and a great location.Please note there is a steep road up to the property but what fantastic views that then provides.Have already booked again for next year.

Absolutely wonderful house. Views are beautiful, we loved it. However I do feel it’s important to mention that this house is on a very steep hill so would not suit wheelchair users or people who can’t walk well. It doesn’t state it anywhere on the description.

Calm and spacey apartment

Bedrooms and living room with a lot of space (we were 3 adults). The apartment is very calm (end of the road: no traffic) and has fantastic views from the dining table over the lake and mountains. Almost new bathroom, clean and very well working. Well equipped kitchen with all devices in good working conditions, only the frying pans are quite used up (coating)...We really enjoyed our stay and would come back for our next holidays in Lakeland.

We loved our stay at this property. Great views, parking, space, responsive host, able to walk to the lake, everything we needed. Lovely decor and art work make it a very pleasant place to come "home" to after a day out and about.

Out of this world

Mind blowing accommodation, couldn't stop looking at the incredible lake views. Spotless property, so quiet and tranquil, listening to nature and with a short 5 minute walk to the centre. Perfect weather made the stay even more incredible.

Beautiful apartment

We had a great stay at this beautiful apartment it had everything we needed, it was spotless and a fantastic view, we have been to this area a few times now and I would definitely stay here again as couldn’t fault it, we both loved it. Lots of dvds to choose from if you’re just wanting a relaxing movie night in, it was like a home from home we loved everything about it. The views are amazing and it’s so quiet and only a short walk down hill to the town with loads of pubs & restaurants. I would recommend to book this apartment if available. Thank you to the host for letting stay in your great apartment x

Hiking holiday Lake District

Really lovely spacious apartment. Great views. Extremely well appointed and tastefully decorated, , we lacked for nothing. Comfortable and quiet, but only a short distance from the lovely hustle and bustle of Bowness. Great spot in the Lake District!

We had a great stay in this apartment. You can walk down the hill to shops, pubs, and the lake. Inside is very comfortable with a great view. The host was great communicating via email after my VRBO app glitched out. Minor quibbles would be that the little hallway is almost comically squeaky, and it would be great to have a couple of fans to circulate the air a bit. Overall, highly recommended!

Home away from home

Our first thought was, the photos do not do this apartment justice, as it exceeded expectation. The information provided regarding check in and check out was thorough and the apartment was clean, with lovely linen and towels. We did not tire from sitting at the table watching the scenery change and the kitchen was great for cooking. We also loved the location, being above the village away from the hustle and bustle, it was quiet and relaxing. We would definitely return for another stay and highly recommend to anyone wanting a true Windermere experience.

Another wonderful holiday.

This is our second visit and we love this property! It is in a fantastic location with the most wonderful view of Lake Windermere. Clean and comfortable with all the amenities you need and easy parking outside. Quick walk to the shops, restaurants and boats and yet in a quiet location. Schöne Aussicht, gute Lage

Die Aussicht auf den Windermere von dem herrlichen Sitzbereich vor dem großen Fester ist das Highlight! Absolut ruhige Lage, aber in 5 Minuten im Zentrum (steiler Weg!) Parkplatz groß und gut zu erreichen. Sehr guter Ausgangspunkt zum Sightseeing und Wandern im Lake District! Kommunikation mit Vermieterin einfach und unproblematisch. Sehr zu empfehlen!
