Superbe appartement sur deux étages supérieurs d'un bâtiment victorien de 4 étages, surplombant le village de Bowness et les montagnes.

Proche de toutes commodités et à cinq minutes à pied du lac avec des promenades dans la campagne de la porte

.access Est par un escalier à la propriété 3 bedroomed, une attenante double, une chambre et salle de bains familiale double et simple.

Un salon spacieux avec des baies vitrées offrant une vue sur les montagnes avec un feu de gaz à effet de charbon pour les mois les plus froids. Cuisine avec réfrigérateur / congélateur, lave-vaisselle, four et micro-équipée.

Situé sur un cul-de-Sac loin de la route principale et est très calme. Biskey Howe point de vue est à 5 minutes à pied de la colline, qui donne une vue imprenable sur le lac et les montagnes

Parking permis est disponible et il ya beaucoup de places de parking sur la route par la Vue de Ellie

Lovely place for a relaxing stay

Ellie's View is very clean and tidy with great decor, a great view & immediately felt at home! Only downside is the steep steps up to the property which were a bit tricky to go up & down with a heavy suitcase & may be a challenge for some people.

Nice place to stay. Near to shops and lake. Parking can be a problem should of had a permit but privace people took by mistake so we didn't get it till Friday evening.

Perfect location

Very comfortable accommodation, five minutes from the centre of Bowness. Parking not provided but never had any trouble finding any very close by. Everything we needed for our short break, with the added bonus of two bathrooms, although the shower pressure not great but wasn’t a problem. Would definitely book again.

A very clean property, ideally located to enjoy the centre of Bowness only 5 minutes walk away. Would definitely recommend and will visit again in the future. We didn’t receive the check in details but thankfully Paul was able quickly sort this for us.

Bowness Retreat

While the access to the retreat is a fair climb, it is well worth it. The rooms are quaint and full of charm. Directions given by the owner were well stated. The views from each of the bow windows were exceptional. Ellie’s View is close to bus routes and delightful tea and breakfast spots. The town is full of lovely dogs of all makes and sizes.

Christmas 🎄

Stayed with our two adult children. We thought this accommodation was perfect! Good location. Lots of space and very clean. We had a wonderful Christmas in Bowness. I would recommend this property and would definitely stay here again. The only minor suggestion I would make is improvement of showers which were quite cold and had no real power.

Ellie's View is a delightful two story flat with a nice view over the town and of the surrounding hills. The home was well equipped and comfortable. There are metal stairs leading up to the door so anyone with a disability would find it a challenge. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed several evenings and mornings having a drink and enjoying the view.Parking was a bit of an issue for me as it would require me to park on a steep hill so I used a nearby public lot which offered reasonable 3 night and 7 night rates.

Sehr gut ausgestattete großzügige Wohnung

Die Wohnung besticht durch ihren tollen Ausblick und das großzügige Platzangebot. Wir fanden alles vor, was wir benötigten. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Gern hätten wir beide Duschen gleichzeitig benutzt (3 Kinder), das lässt jedoch das Alter des Gebäudes nicht zu. Für uns ist Bowness etwas zu touristisch, die Wohnung liegt jedoch in einer Seitenstraße ab vom Trubel und dennoch ist man schnell an den Geschäften und Restaurants.

Ideal location

Very clean property in good location with short walk into Bowness. Comfortable beds with excellent bedding. Kitchen had all equipment needed. Two good sofas in lounge to relax. Lovely views at dining table in bay window across to the lake. Overall would definitely recommend for short break.

Home from Home

Ellie's View is a lovely property in a quiet residential street and close to the shops at the end of the street, don't forget the shortcut. You can just see the Lake. It is immaculate. The beds and bedding are very comfortable.. Please note the only way to the property is at the rear and there is an outside iron stair way to the front door. The key safe door doesn't drop down when you have put the code in, and after fighting with it for a few minutes I had to call Paul who said to use your finger to gently pull the door down :) The street is on a hill if you have mobility issues. I would definitely stay again. Shame it rained the 2 days we were there but we had a lovely time.

The best view in Windermere to eat your breakfast

What an absolute gem. I would definitely stay here again as it is a well maintained well decorated apartment with a number of great views from the windows. Extremely close to the centre and a number of good walks

Excellent location and great value for money for a weekend getaway

Excellent communication from the host made everything hassle free. Master lock key system meant no problem accessing the property. Comfortable living arrangements and excellent location. Pet friendly too .... only downside would be the parking.

Excellent location, but quiet and away from the traffic and bustle. Very clean and warm with comfy beds. It was an excellent base for exploring the lakes. We had a very enjoyable stay.

Short stay in Bowness

We had a few issues with the apartment, Paul was easy to contact and helpful. The apartment is well located, clean and secure. I would look to stay there again the next time we come to the Lakes

Bowness with its shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as cinema and theatre.

All the attractions of Lake Windermere including the Ferry that can transport you to the western shores for exploration to Hawkshead and beyond

Touring buses go around the lakes leaving from Bowness too!

A whole range of country walks offer themselves from our as well as Biskey Howe view point, a must to visit, to whet your appetite for further adventure!
