About this property
1 Bed in Denbigh (oc-91890)
An idyllic romantic retreat for two with creature comforts and an enclosed garden, this characterful set of cabins is perfect for a relaxing holiday exploring the area, and your dog is welcome too. All set in an ancient woodland in the pretty village of Llanrhaeadr, a conservation village, with a 400-year-old pub and ancient pottery, and a church dating back to 1200, with a famous Jesse window. In the village is an ancient woodland fed by a stream that pours through a Roman bath, where cold water swimming is permitted, along with lots of walking and cycling routes. Set in the Vale of Clwyd with so much nearby to see and do within 10 miles: Visit historic Denbigh, Ruthin Gaol, the local craft centre, and Mold’s street market, all offering independent shops and eateries to encounter. Abergele Beach is a little further (12 miles). What more could you wish for?
As you enter the enclosed garden you have two cabins, one offering a cosy studio with a comfortable sofa, Smart TV, and double bed, along with a selection of local books to peruse. Across from here is the other, a kitchen/diner stylishly furnished with all you need to rustle up a meal, when ready, the dining table is the perfect setting by the doors opening onto the deck with stunning views to embrace.Round from here are two smaller cabins, one with an electric shower and the other with a quality Separett waterless WC with separate plumbing for wet outlet. Each cabin has been creatively designed with your comfort in mind and to maximise the enjoyment of the pretty garden surrounded by trees and shrubs, and an abundance of wildlife to spot with birdsong in the background.
The gorgeous garden leads on to a secret path to another gate into a larger woodland garden with two more seating areas, one overlooking the fields with beautiful views over the Clwydian range, the other is under cover in a large wooden arbour. All with established planting, gravel paths, decking and superb countryside views on the edge of the owner’s smallholding. The decking is perfect for alfresco dining with a log burner, charcoal BBQ, and a table and chairs. From the front woodland garden, take a walk out the front gate and along the pathway into the woodlands and visit the Roman bath. In the evening the main outdoor living area and decking is lit up by festoon lighting. Private parking for 1 car with a short walk through the woodland up to the property, the walk up consists of gravel paths and board walks. A tranquil, private retreat created with relaxation and peace in mind. Nestled at the edge of a picturesque woodland garden, With a spacious outdoor area, secure fencing (tested and proven to be 100% safe for both small and large breeds), and cozy indoor touches like rugs and a decking area, your dog will feel right at home.
