Mountain Views & seclusion, Short drive to Beavers Bend & Hochatown
About Billy Packwood
We are local entrepreneurs. We have opened and operated several small businesses throughout the years. A General Store, Hardware/Farm & Poultry Supply store and then purchased, remodeled and reopened the legendary Burke's Convenience store. We secured the property for Indian Lookout Mountain Cabins and set to work on designing and overseeing the building of the 4 cabins. We have 2 finished cabins, Hillbilly Hideout and Sunrise Sanctuary that are listed on the rental market. Completion of construction of 3rd & 4th cabin is expected by January 1, 2018. Each cabin is secluded from the next, but are on the same property. The cabins share the same floor plan, but are decorated with very different decor.
Why Billy Packwood chose Broken Bow
I chose to purchase this property because of the breathtaking mountain views. The sunrise view is amazing. Also because the property is surrounded by Three Rivers Wildlife Management Area.
What makes this Cabin unique
Our cabins are brand new! The first 2 were completed and put into rental market November 22nd 2017. The next 2 will be completed January 10th 2018. Indian Lookout Mountain Cabins offer secluded one-bedroom luxury cabins. Our lavishly equipped cabins offer the perfect retreat for honeymoons, anniversaries and lovers getaways, but will also accommodate any couple or two, or even a small family, with it’s king bed and deluxe queen inflatable bed. All cabins are equipped with sliding patio doors that face East to offer an amazing one of a kind view of the Boktuklo Mountains and the most spectacular sunrises you will ever experience. The sliding doors open onto a large deck equipped with hot tub, hammock for two and patio dining and gas grill. The view from the patio will be well worth the trip. When you gaze from the patio there is a quiet and beauty in the air that you can only experience in places of nature well away from noise and activity of the city. The stay was wonderful. The cabin is situated beautifully to thoroughly enjoy the scenery. Enjoyed the fire pit, back deck with outdoor table, and hot tub on a starry night. The shower is amazing, bed and furniture very cozy. Kitchen was very well stocked, even had a crock pot and hand mixer. I believe the listing advertised WiFi but we discovered there wasn’t any when we arrived, if we’d known we would have brought dvds + DVD player to watch movies since no access to Netflix. The propane fireplace was nice for a bit, but eventually burned our eyes and throats from the fumes so bad we had to open all the doors. The battery for the fireplace remote was almost dead so it took several minutes trying to turn it off. Overall very pleasant stay and would return.
Do not think twice about booking this cabin! It is amazing and well worth the drive from town! The views are spectacular and the sunrises were amazing! We will definitely be back!
Woke to a fantastic sunrise. Quiet, great view, close enough to the madness that Hochatown has become. We had a really nice stay here. Only negative was we didn't see Sasquatch.
Wife and I spent a week here to celebrate our anniversary. It was awesome. Location is beautiful, quiet. Property is very well built and beautiful. Everything was clean and everything worked. Place was stocked very nicely for a stay - did not miss anything. Far enough away from other cabins and road for very nice privacy. We greatly enjoyed watching the sun come up from the hot tub!!! Got to see a bald eagle on his morning cruise as well. Grilled some steaks, enjoyed a fire, life is great here. About 25min from Hochatown which is a pleasant little place with interesting food, breweries, distillery, gorgeous state park, etc.
Just a note for other travelers: there's no wireless in the cabin, and your phone may not work at all. We have both at&t and t-mobile, neither worked for miles&miles. Overall it was a benefit as we had been looking to unplug. But be prepared :)
Great views. Very clean cabin.
