The Sonoran Sky is a boutique style resort on Sandy Beach. The Sonoran Sky Resort rises above Sandy Beach in a single tower. The feel is a little more intimate than at the larger resorts. The Sonoran Sky Resort manages to make the most of its smaller footprint, offering a full list of the amenities you would expect. There is a separate $30.25 per night resort fee charged and due upon arrival to cover wristbands and secured parking. This is a total for the group and is NOT per person.

The Sonoran Sky greets you with stone arches, marble floors, Old World wrought iron, fountains, and more. Bringing a touch of colonial Mexico to Rocky Point, Sonora, the Sonoran Sky is elegant and inviting. Side by side with the traditional styling, you will find the most modern amenities as well.

The lobby is home to a well-stocked convenience store, a public computer room, as well as a state-of-the-art gym. Machine and free weights are offered. A floor-to-ceiling window lets you watch the ever-changing Sea of Cortez as you rack up miles on a treadmill.

Upper floors of the Sonoran Sky house a spa, a children’s play area, and barbecue grills. Guests are often surprised to find the beautiful Los Volcanes Convention Center right on the second floor. It is large enough to play host to sizable meetings and even wedding dinners. Unique in Rocky Point, Sonoran Sky has an in-house event planner as well.

The ocean side of the Sonoran Sky Resort greets you with a stunning gravity-edge pool. A pool located directly on the beach level offers swim-up bar service. There is a waterslide pool for kids as well as a Jacuzzi. Making the most of its location right on the beach, the Sonoran Sky offers a shaded deck housing the ever popular Tiki bar, swinging hammock chairs, and palapas for shade during your day on the shore. There is also a full service restaurant along with a popular sports bar located right on the property.

This 4 bed/4 bath condo is an outstanding mix of of traditional styling and modern amenities. The kitchen is large and open, with a free-standing island for prepping some fresh shrimp and preparing a meal for a large group. The kitchen is well stocked with all items needed to prepare a wonderful meal to be eaten right on the beautiful wrap around patio right on the beach.

The 4 bedroom condo offers two master bedroom suites that have Jacuzzi tubs. It is an end unit with a balcony that wraps around for amazing views. The unit is right on the water with unobstructed 180 degree plus views! It has it's own barbecue grill. Please note: this unit does not have a private Jacuzzi on the patio, however, there are 3 Jacuzzis by the pool for your use.

The Sonoran Sky in Rocky Point, Mexico, is on a great spot on Sandy Beach that is wide open when the tide is low. A stroll down the beach will put you in contact with a variety of fun beach vendors. Chili-dusted mangoes on a stick, hair beading, and silver jewelry are just some of what you will find offered. At the water’s edge, you will find Jet Ski rentals available as well as the always fun banana boat rides. The Sonoran Sky Resort is the NEWEST resort on Sandy Beach. Condo comfortably sleeps 8 people.
