About Mary Ann

I live in Austin and after visiting JH only once in the summer of 2010 fell in love with it! I rented in the Aspens the following summer, and bought my own unit 6 months later. I love sharing Jackson Hole with visitors, and I take an interest in helping you plan your vacation. If there is anything I can do to point you to a resource to plan your trip, just ask!

Mary Ann purchased this condo in 2012

Why Mary Ann chose Jackson Hole Area

The Aspens is the ideal location, with all the amenities you need including 2 restaurants, sports gym, coffee shop, grocer, and recently opened Belle Cose a very nice clothing/home shop. Calico restaurant just down the road is excellent, as well as many others. Located just four miles from Teton Village, you're out of the heavy Jackson traffic. One of the very best coffee shops, Elevated Grounds, is nearby along with an excellent small grocer, Aspens Market. You can ride your bike right into Grand Teton Park and now over the Snake River on the new ped/bike bridge and right on to Jackson, all on a protected bike trail! The bike trails continue to expand every summer, and there are miles and miles of flat terrain along with the hills. Lots of moose in this area as well and the chances of one walking by my unit are VERY HIGH! Fly fishing and rafting can be enjoyed just down the road along the Snake River.

What makes this condo unique

I treat this condo like it is my home and guests pick up on that and comment, it doesn't have the typical feel of a "rental". This unit is in the Berry Patch which is in a quiet spot at the back of the Aspens. Almost no traffic, nicely secluded, and lots of moose grazing on the willows! I spend time hear several times during the year and always incorporate upgrades to the unit.

This is the second time we have stayed here. The owner is responsive and easy to communicate with. The place is very comfortable, up to date and clean. We will definitely star here on our next trip to Jackson.

One of our best vacations ever. This wonderful condo has everything .

  • 5 of 5

The location ambiance and amenities are first rate. The parks and restaurants are easily accessible but the Berry Patch location is very private and secluded. This beautiful condo will be on our short list of vacation options from now on.

a true home away from home

  • 5 of 5

Owner Mary Ann has thoughtfully and thoroughly furnished her beautiful condo for the comfort of her guests. For hikers, or anyone enjoying the beautiful JH scenery, coming "home" to this condo each day was a real blessing. It has all the amenities one would need: organized place for coats and boots, very comfortable King bedroom , full bath with double sink, lovely shower, washer, dryer and-the best on a cold morning- heated floors! Then there is a great galley kitchen with full stove/oven, Bosch dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker and plenty of counter space for cooking (which we did) and new stove vent. Our favorite portion of the condo was the inviting living/dining and patio areas. From the large windows, we were able to view wildlife "up close" and we enjoyed the sun streaming into these spaces in the afternoon. The location of the condo is on the last street of a nicely maintained residential area, interspersed with green spaces, homes and condo buildings. There is a very nice upscale general store (Aspen Market) within walking distance (we purchased some delicious chicken brauts). GTNP Moose Entrance station is in close proximity too. Two of our favorite restaurants, The Calico and Nora's, are a short drive away. In short, this location takes one away from the commercialization of Jackson and provides quiet, serene surroundings. All manner of creatures find this location pleasant; on our last morning, we watched an adult cow Moose rest on the lawn to the side of the unit. Mary Ann was very easy to work with and helpful. The place was spotless as well. We look forward to a return visit sometime soon.

Excellent condo in the Aspens

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I very much enjoyed this comfortable quiet condo located in The Aspens, not far from Teton Village. The neighborhood is very pretty and the condo is well equipped. The appliances are up to date and work well. It is attractively and comfortably furnished with pretty rugs and pictures. Everything was clean and worked well. We had a moose visit us on our next to last day and then an hour later another female moose and her baby dropped by. The neighbors were friendly. We consider this an ideal vacation spot.

Very comfortable and attractive condo, well-located.

  • 5 of 5

Berry Patch is a perfect condo for a couple, with bunks for up to three others. The queen bed is very comfortable with beautiful linens. The bathroom has heated floors and lovely granite counters. The kitchen is a narrow galley that is fully-equipped for cooking at home. The unit is just a few miles from the Teton Village ski resort where you can also ride the lifts, hike and mountain bike during the summer. There are miles of paved bike tails throughout the Jackson Hole area. Our favorite ride was from Moose, where we rented bikes, to Jenny Lake Lodge for lunch and back. We also enjoyed a raft ride on the Snake River. Don't miss the Rockefeller Preserve--get there by 9:30am to park and spent the day hiking to and around the lake. Dornans at Moose was a good place to stop for gas, lunch (restaurant and deli), bike rentals, fishing gear, etc.

Wonderful Vacation

  • 5 of 5

The condo was exactly as described and pictured except during our stay there was outside construction on the building. Mary Ann did a great job communicating in advance and during our stay regarding the construction. It was a little disappointing as we couldn't enjoy the outside patio or grass area to hang out in the evenings. But, the overall stay was wonderful, and the condo was very clean and nice, and Mary Ann provided a binder of suggestions on places to eat, visit, etc.! The entire family including our two older teenagers enjoyed it. We were greeted by a moose cow the night we arrived, and on our way to Yellowstone one morning, we were greeted by a young bull moose! We enjoyed biking around on the local trails, swimming in the Snake River, taking a scenic float with Barker Ewing in Grand Teton (gorgeous!), hiking & wildlife watching in Grand Teton, drove up to Yellowstone then enjoyed shopping in downtown Jackson. We enjoyed dinner one night at Calico's, lunch at Cafe Genevieve in Jackson, breakfast at Dornan's, bagels at Pearl Street in Wilson and coffee at local Elevated Grounds. We couldn't have asked for more beautiful weather to go along with the gorgeous beauty of Jackson Hole.

Owner's Response: As for the construction this summer, the siding on the outside of the building was replaced and the good news is that shouldn't happen again for at least 20 years :) It was a tricky summer with the construction inconvenience and guests were very understanding, which I greatly appreciated!
