Serene Place to get away from everything

  • 5 of 5

What a wonderful experience. This little cabin in the woods is so serene. Cozy deck on the back looking into the woods. Great place to have coffee in the morning and watch the hummingbirds at the feeder. The cabin was very cozy. The woodwork in the cabin is amazing and to know it mostly came from the trees outside was intriguing. Thank you for letting us use your boat dock and staying in this hidden treasure.

Amazing Honeymoon Stay!

  • 5 of 5

We had such an amazing stay at the little cabin in the woods. On the first night, there was a storm so electrifying that the power went out! We lit some of the candles and sat out on the deck, watching the storm overhead. We also rented a canoe for both days and enjoyed exploring the lake! This will definitely become our yearly getaway place!

Very relaxing, clean, and peaceful

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful five-day stay at the Little Cabin in the Woods and highly recommend it for anyone looking for a secluded cabin that's still close enough to great restaurants and shops (20 min. drive from Eureka Springs). We saw deer every day off the very peaceful back porch, enjoyed canoeing and fishing in the lake, and wrapped up each day with one of the many rom-com DVDs in the cabinet. We're already planning a second visit in a different season (we were there over Fourth of July). Cheryl is an excellent host, too. Do yourself a favor and spend several days there like we did.

Little Cabin in the Woods

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed at the Little Cabin the Woods for my husband's 70th birthday weekend and highly recommend it. It was relaxing, peaceful, well-maintained and the perfect getaway. It is isolated and would be best not to try and find it in the dark. Cheryl was a perfect host and the setting was beautiful. Sitting on the dock at sunrise and sunset was gorgeous. Be advised, bring lots of heavy duty bug spray. There are lots of mosquitoes and tics. The bed is very comfortable and I loved the bottle tree and crystals that were outside the cabin. The cabin is small but laid out well so that we didn't feel cramped. We will definitely go back.

Map

The cabin is located on Beaver Lake which is well-known for Striper fishing and clear-water Scuba Diving. It is only 10 minutes away from the White River for trout fishing and canoe trips. The historic Blue Springs Heritage Center where the Trail of Tears crossed through is a short drive away...and be sure to watch for eagles during our winter season.
