Very pleasant stay!

The appartement is in great shape, only a few minutes from the beach, and in a safe neighborhood. The host is very friendly, accommodating, and always quick to respond. We had a great stay and we’ll definitely book it again!

Fab stay

We had 19 nights here and were not disappointed. The apartment is better than the pictures give it credit for. Well equipped, very clean, helpful staff in the office, owner very quick responses, great neighbours, pool area clean...overall an excellent property.

Very nice apartment, it has everything you need. The terrace is large and sunny from early morning. The environment is very nice. The pool is fantastic. Communication with Estate Duquesa went very well. I spent a wonderful vacation with my wife and children. Thank you very much for the wonderful time spent. I recommend it, we will definitely come back there.

Beautiful apartment in good location

The apartment offers a lot of space and has almost everything you need. The access to the underground garage is short and comfortable. Walking to the port is about 20min - and after a few beers an Uber costs about 5 euros, if you want to avoid the way back ;-) We would have been happy about more hanging options for towels in the bathrooms, and maybe at least 1-2 dishwasher tabs for the start, but that's criticism on high nivou ;-) Would come back any time!

Really lovely holiday apartment

We had a really great stay - the apartment was as described and well appointed. The pool was lovely and short walk from our apartment. The gardens are gorgeous and well kept. Check in was easy - even though we arrived very late we got our keys and were on our way without issue. We had a car so the location was great for us. Not sure how it would be if you didn’t have a car. Parking was convenient and having a lift near the assigned space was handy for bringing in luggage and groceries. Communication with our host was quick and helpful and we had all we needed for a great 2 weeks of sun and relaxation! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Car a necessity.

The property was fine but 2 km. up the hill and a car is a necessity. The tv was all in Spanish so no evening entertainment if you stayed in.

Fantastic throughout!

The property was exactly what we were looking for, modern appliances and FAST WiFi. Apartment was clean and comfortable throughout! The only thing I would add to the property was a cafetiere as the pods for the coffee machine were not sold at the local supermarket.. but don’t take that away from the fantastic week we had and look forward to returning. The owner was fast with returning messages and answering any questions we had. Thank you again!

Beautiful Property

We had a fantastic week in the property. The whole experience from start to finish was first class. We arrived after office hours and our keys awaited us as promised in the key box. Getting in to the apartment was very easy. We really appreciated the lift with our luggage and shopping. Having a dedicated parking space in the garage too was a massive bonus. The apartment was exactly as described and just like the photos. We all thought the main living room seemed even bigger than the photos made it look! The apartment was very clean and beds very comfortable. The terrace was a great size too. The property is up a hill. We were aware of this and it didn’t worry us at all. We happily walked down the hill to the marina and caught taxis back up with change from €10. We hope to be back again and definitely would recommend the property. Thank you for a great stay.

Good place to relax and enjoy the good life

We absolutely loved this apartment in Manilva. It has everything you need to prepare your own meals and there are several supermarkets within a few minutes drive. You can also find a selection of restaurants near the port, also about 5 minutes by car. The smart TV supports Netflix, Amazon Prime, and TuneIn. This means you have access to a wide collection of movies, series, and music. (Netflix and Prime require you to have your own subscription) Internet works like a charm, the connection is fast and spotless. Like others already said, the terrace of the apartment is covered and there's no direct sunlight. As non-sunseekers, we loved this. If you would like to sunbathe, the community's swimming pools are only mere steps away. There is also a padel court (no tennis court) and a golf. Regarding things to do in the area: we would suggest day trips to Ronda, Gibraltar, and Marbella - Puerto Banús. There are also some great hikes you can do. Our favorite hike was the vulgar hike that starts in Casares. Like others already said, you do need a car. We did walk down and back up a few times. It is possible, but it is probably not something you want to do at 10 PM after dinner.

Hillside apartment

The apartment has a spacious balcony that faces east so you can see the sea and you get the sun in the morning for breakfast. Both bedrooms and bathrooms are good. The 5G WiFi is very fast with both upload and download speeds over 290Mbps great if you have a subscription TV service because there is no English language TV and WiFi is essential in this area as data, particularly by Movistar, is virtually nonexistent. There are five swimming pools on the gated development and it is all very well looked after. The apartment is about 95m above sea level so nice views from the general area and it is about 1.2k downhill to the nearest bar on the urbanization, and a steep climb back. It is about 2.1k to the port of Duquesa (where English is widely spoken is about 25 minutes walk), here there are many bars and restaurants that cater for most tastes, also Arkwright's Stores, which is open 08:30 to 22:00 and 365 days, is brilliant for odd bits of shopping. If you wanted more local food then the area of Castillo de Duquesa is a short walk south of the port, wherever you eat it is worth asking to see the 'menu del dia'. We enjoyed our two month's stay, the apartment was good value, and communication with the owner is excellent. The agents, who can be found in Castillo de Duquesa, are also helpful. We felt the apartment is little remote and because of the distances involved unless you enjoy walking, a car is essential.

El apartamento y la urbanización la Duquesa es tal cual se ve en las fotos, aunque se necesita el coche para ir a la playa y para comprar porque no están cercanos.A mejorar la limpieza.

Appartement loué pendant un mois. Idéalement situé par rapport à nos visites Gibraltar, San Roque, Ronda, Estepona (très fleurie),Marbella. Große Wohnung in schöner Wohnanlage

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in der schönen großen Wohnung mit zwei Bädern sehr genossen. Es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht. Probleme wurden mit dem Besitzer und der Agentur sehr schnell gelöst. Der Balkon ist schön groß und überdacht. Im Winter kommt leider kaum Sonne in die Wohnung und auf den Balkon, im Sommer kann ich nicht beurteilen, aber vielleicht ist sie deswegen schön kühl. Gut ist, dass die Klimaanlage auch eine Heizung ist.

Schöner Urlaub mit der Familie

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Terasse ist sehr schön, dort haben wir uns viel aufgehalten, da sie Schatten soendet. Die Kinder haben die vielen Pools sehr genossen. Einziger Nachteil war, dass das Internet während des gesamten Aufenthalts nicht funktioniert hat. Sonst Top Wohnung.

Ruhige Wohnung mit viel Platz und schnellem Internet

Wir waren 32 Nächte in der Unterkunft, die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig und die Küche hat alles was man benötigt um Speisen selbst zu bereiten. Internet ist super schnell und eignet sich sehr gut zum arbeiten. Ein Auto wird dringend benötigt. Zu den schönen Stränden sind es mit dem Auto auch nur 5 Minuten. Einziger Kritikpunk ist, wofür der Vermieter jedoch nichts kann, dass die Pools nicht genutzt werden konnten, obwohl sie mit Wasser befüllt waren. Ein Verbot der lokalen Behörden. Das ist scheinbar schon seit September 2023 der Fall aufgrund des Wassermangels. Der Betrieb würde wohl zu viel Wasser verbrauchen. Allerdings wurde jeden Tag der riesige angrenzende Golfplatz ausgiebig bewässert. Politik eben, die Behörden müssen Prioritäten setzen …

Appartement chaleureux et confortable.

Beaux espaces de vie, belle terrasse et lits confortables. La cuisine est bien équipée pour cuisiner, l’endroit est tranquille en avril. Stationnement intérieur pratique. Proprio très communicatif et aidant, même à distance. Il est primordial d’avoir une voiture car la côte est longue pour monter à pied. Appartement très propre à l’arrivée. Merci pour tout.

Appartement très correct seul petit bémol l'emplacement du logement trop en hauteur obligeant l'utilisation de la voiture pour tout déplacement ( plus de deux kilomètres en descente et montée) sinon endroit très sécurisé. Très bonne expérience.

I arranged this apartment as if I lived there while putting all the necessary comfort. With the years, I would even install a quality home theater system and other amenities to make the apartment even more comfortable, especially for long term rentals.
I want the customer who comes to the apartment to feel at home and lacks nothing.

Our choice is focused on this apartment for three reasons.
1) The setting of the Duquesa Village with its 5 pools, 1 tennis court, and these Andalusian style apartment blocks made us feel like in a holiday village, you really feel at home.
2) The quality and finish of the building, these large windows, as well as its terrace of 18 m² overlooking a 180 ° panorama of the mountain, houses typical styles of Andalusia, and the sea is really charming.
3) proximity to the marina, beaches, shops, restaurants and other major cities such as Estépona, Marbella or Malaga offers plenty of tourist opportunities.
