Welcome to Castaway The Day! We're back! We have done some exciting updates during our 18 month hiatus, that have been recently completed and new for the 2026 season! New flooring throughout the entire unit, updated kitchen with new cabinetry, Marble countertops, backsplash, new faucets, updated lighting, and new kitchen appliances. We also spruced up each of the bedrooms with new bedroom furniture and fresh new bedding! Each bathroom has also had new mirrors, lighting, and faucets added. The unit has been recently given a fresh coat of paint from top to bottom and several old windows have been replaced.

Sit and enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine on our new patio furniture! The sea breeze on the ocean-facing balcony with new outdoor furniture or take the shortest walk to the oceanfront pool, beach access and tiki bar! Located on the quiet, upscale west end of Ocean Isle Beach. The complex is part of Islander Villas, one of the newer accommodations on the island. Each building includes 6 Villas and an elevator. Our Villa includes access to a large oceanfront pool at the Isles Beach Club. There are balconies located in the front and back of the Villa.
One of the biggest advantages of our Villa is that it is the closest Villa in the entire Islander Resort to the oceanfront pool, Tiki Bar and La Volte restaurant at the Isles Beach Club.
This spacious 1,700 sqft Villa features 4 well-appointed bedrooms, each with their own ensuite bathroom and 9ft ceilings throughout. With plenty of room to sleep 12, our Villa includes 2 king, 2 queens and 2 full beds. The Master Bedroom includes one king bed. The attached master bath includes dual vanity sinks with a jetted tub/shower combo. The second master bedroom includes one king bed, and a bathroom with a tub/shower combo. Bedroom 3 includes one queen, one full bed and a bathroom with shower. Bedroom 4 has one queen bed and one full bed with an attached bathroom with shower.

We have made some significant upgrades within the Villa including:
Remodeled kitchen
New stainless refrigerator
New stainless microwave
New stainless stove

By far the cleanest and most well maintained property we have stayed at in Ocean isle/north Myrtle. Very spacious and well equipped for a whole week. Would definitely recommend to family or a friend

We had a fantastic week and have already booked to stay again! Hosts were extremely helpful and responsive. The condo was beautifully decorated and well appointed. Beds were some of the most comfortable we have stayed at away from home. Beach closet was a very welcome bonus! It was a wonderful stay and a wonderful home!

Castaway the Day was the perfect haven for our family vacation. We loved that every bedroom had its own bathroom, the family room was large enough for everyone to gather (10 people), the kitchen was more than well-equipped, and so many other positives! Being in such close proximity to the LeVolte Beach Club for pool and tiki bar use was a plus, as well. Communication between our family and the host was easy, and we always received quick responses. There is no question that our family will return for future beach gatherings. We highly recommend Castaway the Day!

This home is so beautiful, clean and has everything you need. A very slow walking pace will still have you on the beach within 5 minutes. The beach chairs and shabumi and wagon made it so easy and the location is perfect.

Just returned from a wonderful week at Ocean Isle! The weather was perfect and our accommodations were top notch! The villa was true to it’s description and was perfect for our family. It was clean and well maintained. We especially appreciated the use of the owner’s beach equipment and grill, which is a rare amenity.

Growing up and getting married in Ohio, Kellie and I moved near the water in South Florida. We were told that once you live by the water, you will always want to. With jobs that took us to Raleigh, our Villa is the best escape from the grind and gives us that proximity to the water that we miss so much. In 2024, we moved to Ocean Isle Beach full time in part because we want to closely oversee our rental property and the experience we are providing our guests.

Why they chose this property

We were only exposed to Ocean Isle a few years ago. We fell in love with the community and the people. We are not fans of the lights and commercialism of the larger beaches. Ocean Isle is that quiet beach town that lets you unwind. It still allows you to go fishing or golfing, rent a boat or jetski, or just relax on the beach. You also still have the option to drive to Myrtle Beach, if that is your thing. These Villas, with their abundance of space, bedrooms and bathroom were the best we found on the island.

What makes this property unique

We loved the elevator access for when you are carrying everything to and from the beach or just bringing your bags in from the car. The villa has 4 bedrooms and 4 full baths which makes it quick for everyone to shower when they come back from the beach. Sleeping is also comfortable with the 4 bedrooms. The views and the sounds from the beach and the water are truly relaxing. We use the villa ourselves, every opportunity we can.
