Deep exhales happen naturally here and when you're ready to wander outside, the sand, fully fenced oceanfront yard and covered hot tub are waiting just downstairs. The pier, shops and restaurants are only a 1/2 mile away.

🌴 Life Under the House



Beach days have a way of continuing down here. Come up from the sand for lunch and end up staying awhile. Someone gets the grill going, somebody settles into the hot tub, a game of cornhole starts and the ocean breeze keeps moving through it all. The entire footprint of the house is covered, so blazing summer afternoons come with shade and rainy days simply move the fun downstairs, with the Atlantic still right there.

The beach is at the bottom of the stairs, which makes it wonderfully easy to let the day unfold however you want. Head down for the morning, wander home for lunch and go back when the water calls. Surf City Pier is about ½ mile away, along with restaurants, coffee, ice cream and local shops, so once you're here, the car can spend a lot of the vacation right where you parked it.

Hi, I'm Beata. I designed Zen Escape from top to bottom and have personally operated it since 2018. More than anything, I wanted this house to feel like an exhale: beautiful, comfortable, easy to live in and so connected to the ocean that you can feel yourself slow down a little just by being here. Small things are automated for speed so nothing waits, but when something actually matters, you get me. Happy to have you.
