Overall I was disappointed in the property. It was not well maintained, did not have a door or closet for the third bedroom, only one television for the entire property and just the bare minimum of the creature comforts of home. Also, the back screened in patio had a tarp on two of the windows that didn't allow for a cross-breeze of air and no ceiling fan which made the space feel like an oven. Overall, the owner should reinvest some of the proceeds to keep up the property. The overall condition of the property on a scale of 1 to 10 is a 4, due to the physical obsolescence.

The property was quaint. It has one TV for the entire house. Upgrades are needed, such as fresh towels. There weren't any face towels. We left aluminum pans, toilet paper, and we left the house clean. I appreciated the quick response from the owner, when the TV remote did not work. It was a great weekend overall.

Great location & very quiet

We came to San Jose for a soccer game & meet up with family.The house was as described. Good area & quiet. Needs a little love (toilet paper holder very loose) and while it seems very clean & we met the lovely cleaning crew the age of the home is showing. Additionally those earlier reviews were spot on about the lacking kitchen ware. No regular spoons only soup size & cups for 4 when the house slerps 6 to 8. But it was a nice visit. clean & we met the very niceclean

Great for visiting SJSU Daughter!

We stayed here because my daughter had to work in the dorms during thanksgiving. We ate dinner in the screened in porch. We also walked to a great Mexican restaurant on Julian St….named “Tequilas Time”. It’s definitely a city house and not fancy, but perfect for the cost and location. Communication was easy with property manager.

Great Location

The house was in a great location for us. Just a short walk to the train stop that provided us with transportation to Levi Stadium and the SAP centre for football and hockey games. The house was clean and amenities such as paper towels and soap were appreciated. Good communication with the owner, answered promptly to text messages

Short Trip

Place was nice and the neighborhood was great. Great location. Easy access to mutiple highways. It stated there was security system but the security box was unplugged feom the wall. We did arrive a couple hours early and they were quick to respond and we're accommodating. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to others.

San Jose Visit

The property was clean and the perfect fit for 4 people. If traveling with younger kids, make sure to bring toys. The sunroom was my absolute favorite place to be, especially when it was cooler. Some door knobs were very lose, but an easy fix. We were able to visit with lots of family, whale watching with a short drive from this location.

Perfect place perfect location

This is a great place to stay. Feels like home away from home. The beds we’re comfortable and got the best sleep I had while traveling. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook meals. The laundry room/ covered patio was an excellent place to eat dinner. The house is really spacious. This is an excellent location near lots of food places. We had old fashion burgers , great Mexican bakeries, and really good pizza. This area was very safe and the neighborhood super quiet. I would definitely come back.

December 2023 stay

The neighborhood was generally quiet and safe and the house was clean. There were some things that need to be repaired (cabinet door under the sink in the kitchen - we did not use that once we saw it was in need of repairs) A dish rack to hand wash dishes would have been nice. Since the house can sleep so many a larger dining room table and couch would be helpful and some additional chairs to sit in if one wants to watch tv.

has potential but needs maintenance

The house is in a nice quiet neighborhood in a good location. The house has potential but needs work. The kitchen is missing many items it needs to be usable. There were only 4 spoons, 2 stools and had no sponges, dish towels, aluminum foil etc. There were ants in the bathrooms and on our bed-yuck. The filter on the refrigerator was red and needed changing. The towels were in bad shape. On the plus side, the beds were comfortable and the sun room was nice. With a bit of work the rental could be nice.

Its a cozy place

Let's start out with - Would I stay here again? YES. if it fit my needs at the time I would without hesitation. Our party was five adults staying for one week. A few things to be aware of, it is a surprisingly quiet neighborhood. Surprisingly because the homes are fairly close together. I heard the neighbors only once and only for a few seconds. The home sleeps 8, with 4 queen beds. However both bathrooms are connected to two of three bedrooms. Meaning if you are one of the 4 people in the third bedroom you will need to go through one of the other bedrooms to take a leak. Also, the only living room furniture is a single couch that might - might - hold four people. There are four dining room chairs nearby. It worked for us, it might not work for everyone. Those four dining room chairs are the only four dining room chairs. We ate on the patio which has more chairs but can be hot on a summer's afternoon. The patio cools off nicely at night and is quite pleasant. The driveway holds 3 cars - maybe 4, we only had 2, but my guess is only 3 fit. While on street parking is allowed it seems that every home in the neighborhood is already using it to its fullest capacity. There are restaurants and stores in the area, GPS is recommended. Highway access is plentiful.

Mediocre Stay!!!

This property was a beautiful home that is located in a sketchy area. Located near a very active street that you are prone to hearing speeding cars through out the night. Upon arrival, the trash bins were completely full to capacity and there was no where to discard my trash that was acquired over a 4 day stay. Property Manager informed that trash would be picked up by Monday possibly Tuesday due to it being a labor day holiday on Monday. Forcing me to load acquired trash bags in back yard until trash can was emptied. The sun room is defiantly my favorite part of this home, it is super spacious and welcoming but i felt as if i was unable to enjoy the benefits to its full capacity. Friday evening my family and I were playing board games in the sun room having normal table talk and sharing laughs when i then received a phone call from property owner with a "noise complaint" from neighbors due to sun room having no windows we were then asked to "exit sun room" which then put a damper on me being able to enjoy my favorite room of the house. Lastly, I would HIGHLY recommend that the owner purchase a new refrigerator! The Ice maker and water on the front of the fridge is broken and when mentioned to owner, it was stated that it was leaking water which caused it to be shut down and that it was not worth it fixing and to just use it as is for now. Unfortunately, I was then forced to purchase an abundance amount of ice that had to be left behind and cases of water just to suffice over the weekend. The refrigerator also does not keep food cold and at a proper temperature. My birthday cake that happen to be an ice cream cake melted while in the FREEZER! Also food went bad while in the refrigerator causing me to have to toss a bunch of food. As Stated before, the home is beautiful, but the issues with the trash, sun room and refrigerator caused my stay to be mediocre.
