Welcome to Big Sky Barndominium! Whether youā€™re here for the famous Round Top Antique Show, Shakespeare at Winedale, a concert at Round Top Festival Hill, a destination wedding or to get away from it all, Big Sky Barndo is sure to please. Located less than 5 miles from the Round Top Square, Warrenton, Marburger Farms, and The Compound, we also can provide backroad directions to avoid 237 traffic during the height of the shows. Nestled on 35 acres between rolling hills and bales of hay, enjoy coffee on the porch in the morning watching the deer scurry by. The barndominium is new construction and was decorated by an Instagram-famous decorator, with modern touches, a fire pit and a full kitchen. It is locally owned and managed on-site by a Round Top resident of 25 years.

Round Top, now coined "The Hamptons of Texas,ā€ is halfway between Houston and Austin. It is rich with culture, fine dining and made famous by the Round Top Antique Show. The antique show has grown to be the second-largest antique venue in the country, featuring everything from DIY to fine, European pieces. Big Sky Barndo is your ticket to it all. Donā€™t miss out!

A note on our refund policy: We will refund 100% at any time if Judge Joe Weber, the county judge for Fayette County, or any of the local elected officials close the antique shows. We realize this is the main draw to our area, and this is what happened last spring. Please reach out if you have any questions.

This house was PERFECT!!!! Everything was clean and well stocked!! And may I also mention; so beautiful!!!! I will definitely stay again!P.S.- the house needs a wine opener so bring one if you need it.

Lovely country getaway close to downtown Roundtop

We stayed at Big Sky Barndo for a friend's wedding in Roundtop and had a great stay (despite the weather). The space is pretty and well appointed and sits on some property. The sleeping arrangements are great for a larger group, even though there were only 3 of us. Had the weather permitted, it would have been fun to walk the country roads and use the fire pit. It was a short 8-10 minute drive from downtown Roundtop. Would definitely recommend.

Thanksgiving in Round Top

The Barndominium was very nice - well-furnished, comfortable beds, quite clean, and lots of room. Highly recommend it for any time you're in or near Round Top or environs. I did get a little nervous about getting the check-in instructions, as I heard from the host only one day before check-in, and most other VRBO hosts have given us at least three-days notice. But, it all worked out.

Quiet country setting

The country setting just a short drive to Round Top makes this well-appointed home the perfect location! The large living and kitchen areas are great for gathering together. The outdoor space is ideal for morning coffee! The hosts were very responsive to our requests.

Beautiful Barndominium

This has been our fourth girl's trip to Round Top and have never been so impressed with our accommodations. After shopping all day it was so comforting knowing we had comfortable beds to sleep in with plenty of room to unwind and relax. The barndo was very clean and had everything you would need or would expect from a short-term rental. It is beautifully furnished and decorated with high-end finishes and new appliances. Carol made the whole process easy and went above and beyond the call of duty as one of the girls left her coat and Carol graciously mailed it to her. Would highly recommend this beautiful property...it will not disappoint!!

Hello, I'm Carol, and welcome to Big Sky Barndominium. My husband and I lived in Houston for 50 years and have been proud owners of a ranch in Round Top for 25 years. We like to say we bought property in Round Top before it was cool. We built a barndominium for our expanding family and decided to share our love of the area with travelers. We love living in this area, shopping and concert-going and hope our guests do as well. I will be on the other side of the property and available by text or phone should you have any questions. I know backroads and am happy to share shopping tips and Round Top history. Welcome to the country!
