This was such a great cabin. It was fully stocked with any and everything you could possibly need . This was by far one of the best experience we have had. This was our first trip to Broken Bow and staying in this cabin was so wonderful. This cabin was not only beautiful but was also very comfortable and clean. Check in was a breeze. The host provided us with directions and everything and everything was right on point. I would highly recommend this cabin stay to anyone visiting Broken Bow.

Everything was great! Very cool and comfortable little cabin! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Only notes for improvement were that the hot water had a hard supporting 4 people for showers (but we worked out a schedule ) and the due to rain we did spend some time watching tv where the dish was choppy and the internet had a hard time running streamed services without interruption. Other than that it was above and beyond what was expected and we would definitely recommend or stay again! Thank you!

This was the perfect cabin and location for our Sister Trip!! Everything was just PERFECT and we enjoyed everything about this beautiful cabin and the location is great So quiet and secluded! Enjoyed one evening sitting out at the fire pit with a glass of wine and one evening relaxing in the hot tub! Would definitely stay here again!

Cabin was amazing. Perfect location. We could get to everything within 15 minutes. Kids loved it because there is a lot of area to play and hang out. Fire pit and swing was the biggest hit!

Property was very nice. Pictures on website doesn’t do it justice. It did have a little bit of a funky smell, but it was very clean and had everything we needed. Bed in master bedroom was too hard and we had to go buy a mattress topper while we were there. We enjoyed the hot tub. It had ample parking also, but just a little difficult backing a boat all the way down the long driveway. (Didn’t have room to turn our big boat around by the house) we would definitely stay in it again though. House is also in a great location!!

Beautiful property very peaceful and lots of privacy. We didnt hang out at the cabin much bc we stayed at the lake all day. Would love to come back and really enjoy what the cabin offers.

We had a wonderful stay! This was a Grandma/ Grandkid trip! My friend and I have each been bringing our Grandson and Grandaughter on a trip in Summer since they were very small! We try to think of something different each year!… This was perfect! They are 13 and 14!

We loved it! Nice place very nice clean lots to do and see. Only thing the front door needs adjustment to shut well and a lock on main bathroom door is needed. But other than that great place to stay.

So much to say about this property. Everything was perfect. We wanted the cabin feel and thats what we got. Other than no one knowing how to work the coffee pot, everything was amazing.

Love the peace and quiet!

Very please with the cabin overall! The only disappointment we had was expecting the spa to be in ground as the photos showed. It had been replaced with a new above ground model. Let me explain I searched this cabin with at least 40-50 cabins before reserving. This was the only one with a sunken hot tub so we reserved it. To explain we are over 70 and my wife has had a year of health issues. She is scared of bath tubs and with hot tubs she has to climb up and into. This cabin has a nice shower facility in one bath - great!! We did try out the new spa but it was very difficult for her to navigate. Let me be clear this was our issue and not the cabins!! We enjoyed our four days a lot. We watched the dear feed in the woods across from us twice each day and were very happy with out trip overall!! We will recommend this cabin to our friends and family! We will still look for that elusive cabin with an in ground spa but it looks very unlikely? The other one is extremely high priced and booked 90% of the time we look at it. Please understand I rarely give anything or anyone a 5 rating. That is a personal thing of mine. A 4 means it was very good - great!

Peaceful & Cozy

Host very responsive, friendly, & polite.To start with a nice long driveway &outside space very nice. The cabin very cute and cozy, quite neighborhood. Super hot shower & very cold a/c. Comfy puch & recliners. We had an issue w/ a cable box & host sent someone by to fix it right away. Just a few down sides, coffee pot powered ON but never brewed, steak knives will not cut, and sadly the Queen size bed in master (the bdrm w/ full bath) is extra extra extra firm. Its like sleeping on concrete. My sister figured out the couch is a hideaway bed and spent the last 2 nights sleeping on that. Other than those few things its a great stay.

Just to give you a heads up

The property was in a great location! It had a great private drive. It looked better than the pictures... however, the stove top is very messed up- the large burner on the left front only works on high- it won't turn any lower, while the other large burner- the back right, wouldn't turn on at all.The shower door fell completely off! The TV stopped having sound on the second day, and the owners have never responded to my email I sent asking questions before we ever even left.Also, just be aware, there are ZERO extra ANYTHING... no condiments, no first aid kit, no extra paper towel roll, not even an extra toilet paper roll! NOTHING! Buy your own salt, toilet paper, your own everything... and don't expect any interaction out of the owners.

Wonderful cabin - excellent stay

Lovely cabin, excellent amenities - we spent a lot of our time on the porches. Due to high winds we couldnt gave a fire, but enjoyed the atmosphere immensely. Annual girls trip - they get better every year..

Chillin Cabin

We really enjoyed our stay. Loved the cabin location, loved how it was set back from the road. Super comfortable.The only reason I did a 3 star for communication with property manage, is because we didn’t communicate with her. That’s not bad, just means no issues.

We live in a small town called Celina, Texas. It is about 40 miles north of Dallas. I am retired and spend my time taking care of my three Shih Tzus, my cabins and working in my yard. My husband and son are employed by a range hood manufacturer. He has been in that business for over 50 years and my son has worked with him for over 20 years. If you look in Chillin' you will see some of their work over the range. As you can see they made a custom hood with the name Chillin' especially for our cabin.
We have three grown children and no grandchildren, but we currently have 8 grand dogs and they are all very special.
We all were born and raised in Texas, although we do love to visit Broken Bow as often as we can.

We looked at several cabins, but Chillin" was special. Being authentic logs made it warm and inviting. Although it needed a lot of work, we saw the potential and the Stiles have always like a challenge. My husband and son are very creative and and very hard workers. We just knew we could make this a great place for everyone to enjoy. We bought it and everyone pitched in and made it what it is today.
We later built a new cabin and did the same thing, but out hearts are still very deeply in love with our Chillin'.

When you enter in the drive at Chillin' you feel a sense of relaxation. The minute you open the door and see the authentic log walls and you feel such a warm welcome. You instantly know you are at home. It is time to unwind and enjoy your stay....this is "Chillin'" and that's why you're here.

When you sit in the comfy furniture, try out the soft beds, see how well it is stocked, you know you made the right choice.
You get up in the morning and sit on the porch drinking your coffee and see the family of deer playing in the yard or on the driveway, hear the birds chirp or just watch the trees, you know it's just a little piece of heaven.

When my husband an I found Chillin' it had pink walls and blue furniture. No outside amenities at all, no porch, no hot tub, no fire pit, no doors on the closets, and the weeds and brush had almost overgrown the drive and most of the parking area, but I fell in love with the "true log" cabin and the fact that it was off the road and away form any other cabin. I finally convinced my husband we could make something out of nothing. Four years later and a lot of hard work and money, I can say I still love Chillin' and certainly love the way it has turned out. I guess it will always be a work in progress, but for now I am content.
I enjoy my cabin and I want my guests to feel like it is their "Home away from home" as well.
