Ocean front 2 br Condo at Little Bay Country Club, Negril

This comfortable, well-appointed and clean semi-detached, two-story beachfront condo is air-conditioned on the main floor as well as both bedrooms. It has 2½ baths, a living and dining room, kitchen and expansive ocean-facing deck with a garden area. Located within the gated, high-security Little Bay Country Club (LBCC) homestead in Negril, Jamaica, guests can expect a safe and worry-free stay with 24-hour foot patrols. Only owners and guests whose names are submitted by owners are allowed entry. This emphasis on security facilitates a kid-friendly environment and a strong sense of community amongst owners and guests.

The condo sleeps 4 comfortably, with a king-sized bed in the master bedroom and 2 double beds in the second bedroom. The master ensuite has a shower stall, large tub, sink, toilet and towel racks. The hallway bathroom for bedroom #2 is similar but without the tub. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, stove, oven, microwave and a full range of cooking utensils and implements geared to the most discerning cook. The living and dining room is furnished for comfort and conversation, including a TV, stereo and WiFi. Beyond the large back deck the land slopes gently toward the water and in between are numerous fruit trees and flowers.

The neighbourhood is filled with breathtaking views of the ocean and of nature. The paved roadway is 1.8 kilometres with six separate garden areas along the way - the perfect backdrop for the exercise minded particularly when combined with the sun’s early entry and colourful exit. The photo gallery shows the larger “Bloody bay” and the smaller “Little bay” separated by a narrow gently ascending peninsula on which the condo sits. For the eco enthusiasts the entire LBCC coastline is a fish sanctuary with sea grass, crystal clear water, coral, stingrays, white sand and a turtle nesting site on the main beach in March and April.This, combined with the fifty metre infinity pool creates the perfect environment for swimming, snorkelling, sun bathing and other beach related activities.

The complex is private but not isolated. Behind this condo, is a pathway through a beautiful mangrove forest which ends at Bloody bay - the beginning of two kilometres of a white sand beach with hotels and local vendors who provide food, souvenirs and crafts. A five minute drive past the LBCC entrance is the start of “Seven mile beach” which continues on to downtown Negril for another seven minutes. On the road side this is referred to as “The Strip” and it is populated with numerous clubs, restaurants and bars, street vendors, spas, shops and hotels. On the beach side is the “as far as the eye can see” white sand beach and crystal clear water - an undeniable show stopper. Here, the choice of activity is endless. There are ocean and land tours, band performances, snorkelling, dance lessons, parasailing and barhopping to name just a few. Finally there is the age old “people watching” facilitated by the never ending parade of colourful characters. Beyond downtown Negril is a gradual six kilometre ascent in an area known as “The Cliffs”. The difference between “the strip” and “the cliffs” is one of density and elevation - a lot more bars, restaurants etc, many of them with a bird’s eye view of the ocean including the world famous Rick’s Cafe.

LBCC could be a full time sanctuary or perhaps only part time if one chooses the busy pursuits of seven mile beach or the cliffs. A poolside cocktail, garden stroll or conversation with family and friends - these are all wonderful options for a little bay stay.
