L'Ile Bellule, classified as a 3* seasonal Meublé de tourisme, welcomes you in a warm and spacious place surrounded by Nature, for up to 6 people.
Comfortable and well-equipped, come and recharge your batteries at the Gîte L'Ile Bellule and discover the many treasures of the Loire Anjou Touraine Regional Nature Park. Hikers, fishermen, sports enthusiasts, adventurers in search of new experiences, lovers of nature, well-being, gastronomy and wine discoveries, there's something for everyone.

The Gîte L'Ile Bellule is located in Le Néman, a village in the commune of Avoine, in the heart of the Loire-Anjou-Touraine Regional Nature Park. Situated between Tours and Saumur and served by the A85 motorway, Chinon train station, Port Boulet train station (10 min away) and Tours airport (50 min away), you'll find it easy to explore the heart of the Vallée des Rois.


In the land of castles, Touraine also offers rides on the Royal River and magical escapades on the Loire bike trail. Other discoveries await you too: villages ranked among the most beautiful in France, troglodyte villages, remarkable gardens and vegetable gardens, as well as unexpected encounters.

Committed to our environment, we take simple steps to protect our beautiful natural surroundings (compost, water reserves, selective sorting, use of ecological products, outdoor solar lamps...).

We put in place all the necessary sanitary measures for your stay each time you arrive. We are adopting a new service with regard to bedding: beds are made up on arrival with comfortable, biodegradable plant-based linen.
Fabric bed linen is available at an additional cost.

Gîte l'Ile Bellule is non-smoking and pets are not allowed.

L'Ile Bellule, on the inside, this is our cozy little nest. On the ground floor, the bright living space offers a breathtaking view of the garden and wooded park. A fully-equipped open-plan kitchen is at your disposal. In the bedroom, you'll find a large wellness area, where the quality of the bedding promises a soft night's sleep with its queensize (160x200) memory foam mattress. This room can accommodate a small child. On request, we can provide childcare equipment (cot and comfortable mattress, high chair, changing table, bathtub, adapted crockery, etc.) so that your little ones can also enjoy a comfortable stay. The bathroom has an Italian shower and a separate toilet. You also have access to a storeroom equipped with a washing machine and its eco-friendly product kit.
Upstairs, the landing is secured by a mobile barrier. This space is ideal for telecommuting. The first bedroom has 2 90x200 beds; the second, with its natural Tuffeau stone decor and wooden beams, has a 140x190 bed. You can enjoy the view over the wooded park from these rooms. A second bathroom with shower and WC is also available, so the first floor can accommodate friends.

Outside - awakening the senses...
Enjoy a moment of well-being on the south-facing terrace, with its garden equipment and magnificent view of the wooded park. The Gîte's barbecue and vegetable garden will be your allies for gourmet meals. Several areas invite you to enjoy the garden: summer lounge by the trampoline, siesta in the hammock or natural lounge by the Indre river.
Outdoor games are available for the enjoyment of young and old alike! Trampoline, swing, tree house, slackline tightrope, badminton rackets, ping-pong table, darts, second-hand bikes for adults and children. An opportunity to share many moments of complicity.

The large enclosed courtyard is perfect for parking your vehicle.
A private area on the banks of the Indre is reserved for you. To get there, you'll have to leave the Gîte. The natural lounge invites you to settle back in the deckchair and let yourself wander. Your 5 senses will be awakened as you discover the grey heron resting by the river and the dragonflies dancing on the water. Admire the magnificent colors of the sunrise and sunset over the Indre. The scent of fresh earth and grass will delight your senses. Enjoy gourmet breaks in this green setting for unexpected moments. You'll be seduced by the serenity of the place.

Travel light:
Relaxation begins as soon as you arrive. Beds are made up on arrival using biodegradable linen. However, we do offer cloth linen and towels at an additional cost on request.
We provide a housekeeping kit with eco-friendly products, as well as a breakfast kit (coffee, tea, chocolate) to start your stay, and a grocery kit (oil, vinegar, salt and pepper, etc.).

We provide second-hand bikes for short rides, as well as a small repair kit (baby seats, helmets and safety vests not supplied). Bike rental companies also welcome you in Chinon, Bourgueil and Bréhémont to offer comfort bikes for longer trips, as well as various accessories (trailer, baby seat...).

Shops and activities close to the gîte:
Less than 700m from l'Ile bellule: Loire bike path not shared with other vehicles and Amandine's equestrian center for family horseback rides.
3 km from the Gîte, in the commune of Avoine, you'll find numerous shops and cultural and sports facilities (mini-market, butcher's shop, bakery, banks, media library, squash court, tennis court...). There's also the Avoine swimming pool, with its waterslide and river current, and a relaxation area ideal for all ages.
Shopping facilities in Bourgueil (11km) and Chinon (10km)

Take a stroll along the footpaths or cycle along the Loire trail to the Château de Rigny-Ussé, where you'll meet Sleeping Beauty.
If you continue on to the bargee's village of Bréhémont, you may be lucky enough to come across professional Loire fishermen with the catch of the day: eel, pike and many other species.
Your adventure continues towards the Château and the extraordinary gardens of Villandry, where all the colors and smells of the garden will sublimate your senses. This atmosphere and these lights have inspired the Kings of France.
There are still other paths open to you. You'll be seduced by the listed village of Candes St Martin, with its many hidden treasures. Will you find them along the way?
Then explore the troglodyte village and the admirable Château de Montsoreau. This tour takes you to the medieval center of Chinon, through its picturesque streets to the Royal Fortress.
