Nouveau en 2004, cette maison de deux étages est située sur un terrain boisé à 1 mile au large de la Route 6 prÚs de Coudersport, PA. Il y a une grande grande salle parfaite pour se prélasser ou se blottir prÚs de la cheminée. La maison offre 3 chambres et 2 salles de bain complÚtes. Deux chambres ont des lits queen-size et la troisiÚme chambre a un lit superposé et un lit superposé. Chaque chambre a un grand placard de rangement.

La cuisine moderne comprend une cuisiniÚre à gaz, un four micro-ondes et un lave-vaisselle. Une laveuse et une sécheuse sont idéalement situées juste à cÎté de la cuisine. La chaleur du gaz vous gardera au chaud en hiver et l'air central vous gardera au frais en été.

La maison peut accueillir jusqu'Ă  8 personnes.

Well maintained, secluded and yet close to Cherrysprings. Large kitchen with great amenities. Clean, comfortable bedroons and bathrooms. Pictures do not do justice to hjis beautiful property.

The house was very clean and comfortable. It is located in a nice area with easy access to exploring the area. We were very disappointed that the fireplace wasnt working. It would have been nice to have in the chilly evenings. The upstairs shower also didnt work. The house is beautiful otherwise

Family getaway

Beautiful home, perfect for our family getaway. Convenient to local scenic spots and essentials. Nice yard for the kids and deck with grill for cookouts. Especially great location if you enjoy ATV trails. Will book again!

Post-Thanksgiving family getaway

As advertised, this was a very comfortable and clean property. A great base for our group of mom, dad and 2 adult kids to relax together and have some low-key adventure and exploration in this beautiful part of Pennsylvania.

A Lovely Retreat in the Woods

We stayed for 4 nights and had a lovely time! The proximity to Cherry Springs Park and the Susquehannock Trail was excellent. It’s close enough to both Galeton and Coudersport for any necessary supplies, but also remote enough to see the Milky Way and so many stars at night! It is well suited for a large group and the host is very responsive to questions.

This home is very accommodating. There is a lot of room with a large living room. Beds were great. This is the second time we have rented this place and we love staying there.

Clean spacious and as described

We love Windows in the Woods! Been coming to the area for years and it’s our favorite place to stay. Rob is easily reachable and responsive as a host. Property is clean and has everything we needed.

Wonderful home. Great location.

Host and property were top notch. Even had a black bear meander down the road one evening. Twenty minutes to Cherry Springs State Park. Set the alarm for 2am, enjoy a short time star gazing at Cherry Springs then back to sleep in a clean, comfortable home.

Fit Us Perfect

Very clean property, with reasonable requests. We were in town for a wedding and the master bedroom downstairs was perfect for my mother who tires quickly.

Weekend Getaway To See the Stars

My 15 yo daughter planned a weekend trip to watch the Lyrids Meteor Shower with her friends. Windows in the Woods was a perfect basecamp for us close enough to Cherry Springs State Park and within easy driving distance to the other state parks for hiking and exploring. We found the house to have everything we needed for a great stay and a fantastic weekend. The beds were super comfortable, there was plenty of space for everyone in our group and all the windows really did provide a lovely view. Thank you, Rob! We hope to stay again sometime.

Great house

We very much enjoyed our stay. Rob was a great with communication. Only disappointment which was minor is that we couldn’t figure out how to work the indoor gas fireplace and Rob couldn’t remember how. Also, while it’s clearly communicated, I forgot to bring towels so be sure to remember. House and location were perfect otherwise.

Surprisingly overly pleasant!

Let me first to say that I had been trying to find a rental for quite some time! I booked here and they were uncertain about cleaning time initially, but pulled through fantastically. 2 bedrooms upstairs, one down, 2 full bath on each floor, and the amount of windows was true to the listing name. Easy to get to, stunning overall. The pictures do not do it justice. We unfortunately had a lot of cloud coverage (we were visiting for dark skies park), but it honestly didn't matter. The comfort you feel in this rental is so close to home, the reason for visiting almost doesn't matter. I would 100% return again, for a quiet getaway, to actually see those stars, for a holiday celebration -- you name it. Host was in contact and quick to reply every step of the way. Thank you so much for giving me a place to immediately look for when I return.

Outstanding Location

Family travelled in from Alaska, Colorado, North Carolina and Upstate New York to spend some quality time together with our local family! The location was perfect! It was so much like a home away from home, my mother, who has dementia, thought it was my home! Everything was perfect! We enjoyed Thanksgiving Dinner as a family, and it has been a few years. Our host/owner was available if we needed him and was great with communication before the trip and when our check in day arrived. I would recommend this home to anyone...whether seeking to check out what the atea has to offer or if you just want to spend some quality time with family surrounded by quiet forest and few neighbors. Will definitely book again! Thank-you for sharing your lovely home away from home!

If ypur looking for a home away frim home whille you are visiting the nearby stargazing astronomy park@ Cherry Springs state park, or the PA Grand Canyon this is a beautiful place to stay and conveniently close to these nature attractions
