    Insanitary Conditions - Flying Inspect Infestation

    Property was uninhabitable after the windows in the apartment were left open by the cleaning on the afternoon of my arrival. Digital photos and video evidence was submitted to both VRBO management team and the property owner. Owner suggested that I walk across the street to purchase some Raid to spray down the apartment. Given the exigent circumstances, a VRBO senior manager (in country) intervened and placed me in a nearby hotel at VRBO's expense for one night and verbally promised a full refund of the prepaid rental. After several weeks, VRBO has been unresponsive in its resolution of this matter and has not provided a full refund, despite frequent escalations through the call center.
