Casa de playa - En la playa - arena blanca y limpia, océano tropical cálido, excelente surf y cocoteros.

Contemple la playa y la puesta de sol desde su patio privado aislado en Casa Nuestra Familia. También puede ver monos u otra vida salvaje mientras se relaja en su hamaca. O pasee por su jardín privado hasta la cálida arena blanca y las relajantes olas del océano tropical. Desde la playa puede nadar, surfear, bucear, pescar, nadar en la playa, relajarse mientras trabaja en su bronceado o simplemente sentarse a la sombra de los cocoteros y disfrutar de sus bebidas frías costarricenses favoritas.

Abierta y espaciosa, Casa Nuestra Familia fue diseñada por un arquitecto californiano que vive en Costa Rica. Capturó la sensación de este auténtico y hermoso paraíso tropical.
Todos los cuartos tienen aire acondicionado. El resto de la casa tiene ventiladores.
Cada una de las dos habitaciones tiene una cama doble Y una individual con ventilador de techo. El tercer dormitorio tiene una cama doble. También hay un colchón doble en el desván y hamacas en la casa y en el patio. La cocina se abre a la sala familiar, donde hay mucho espacio para relajarse o divertirse con sus amigos y familiares.
Utilice la cocina totalmente equipada con estufa, horno, microondas, refrigerador, etc. Varios restaurantes y bares están a pocos pasos de su casa, así como una de las tiendas de comestibles más grandes de la zona. Muchos más restaurantes y bares se encuentran a poca distancia en coche.

Check the waves from your hammock

This is a beautiful and affordable rental right on the best beach, steps away from the sand and surf right out front. We have stayed there twice and will be back. Such a perfect, relaxing place. Thank you Pia!

Short stay in ST

Pia and her team took fantastic care of us during our stay. The house really has an authentic beach front vibe complete with wildlife and warm ocean air all around you 24-7. The resort next door has a great restaurant that is super convenient and is on the beach. Basic shopping is right across the street and you are in the heart of ST's fantastic restaurant scene.

Amazing property and location. You are ON THE BEACH on a large piece of land with jungle separating you from the business of downtown Santa Teresa. Walking distance to tons of great restaurants and yoga studios. We loved going to hotel Tropico Latino which is right next doors for great meals on the beach and excellent yoga in their outdoor studio steps away. We had hoped for good surfing right out front but the waves were not cooperating during our stay. The beach is wonderful and endless, great for walking, and very uncrowded. We very much enjoyed the front porch hammock. The host was very responsive and helpful.

Beautiful, location

This house is the perfect beach house. Our big family stay for three nights. We made a couple of day excursions but other than that stayed at the house, including for meals. It was really relaxing to hear the ocean, hang out outdoors. Sunset viewing, and Dawn ocean swims. Highly recommend. The hostess Pia is super helpful and welcoming.

Perfect two-family beach house

Spacious, airy. No air-con but not too hot! Great surf break just out front. Pia the property manager and all the maintenance staff are friendly locals with heaps of knowledge, generosity and hospitality.

Beautiful

We had a wonderful stay in your home. Everything that we needed was there and if we had any questions, you were available all the time. This home was opened and airy and accommodated all of us very well. We felt safe and secure in our little nook and on the beach. The town itself is rather dirty and very dusty, and that was the only drawback which has nothing to do with you. Thank you, Pia and Kevin!

Great house and property

We stayed here for just over a week with my wife and two kids. The house is super spacious and comfortable. Pia communicated with us excellently and help us navigate everything. We loved this place can't wait to come back with another family next time because the house is so big. The property itself is amazing right on the beach and the Hotel Tropico next door was great to have as a place to get food and drinks if we were being lazy or just to sit on the beach and catch a sunset.

Lovely stay!

Great location on the beach. The lack of air conditioning was on the listing so I wasn't surprised, but it was quite warm and additional fans would have been useful. We appreciated the mid week cleaning and the guard at the front gate in the evening. The gardener seemed to be around more often than I would've liked. Overall highly recommend!

Where to start? What a lovely place!

Outstanding location and host! Pia has been the most amazing and helpful and made our 3 week stay absolutely perfect! This place located right in front of the beach ( not for beginners) was so enjoyable! We came here with our 4 older kids and it was such a great gathering home! Will always be grateful and hopefully one day be back here and do this again! The restaurants right next doors are eclectic and outstanding! We also want to thank the great housekeepers! Amazing experience 💕

Great Overall!

The house was great overall. You can't beat its location - surf break out front, next to Tropico Latino Hotel and close to Drift Bar and Katana if you want drinks/meal, and very close to a market for groceries and sundries. Although rustic and spartan with smaller bedrooms, the house feels airy and spacious because of the living room high ceiling and outdoor patio. We didn't mind not having A/C - the fans were usually enough once we got used to the heat. There are lots of towels and bed linen, and the housekeeper cleaned once during our weeklong stay. Wifi speed and coverage were strong, and blackouts only happened a couple of times - this affected everyone in the neighborhood. The manager's communication and check in were also wonderful. The one area where they could improve is to make clear in their description that that they only supply two rolls of toilet paper regardless of how many people or how long you are staying. All in all, this is a great place to enjoy Santa Teresa / Playa Carmen!

Amazing location

This home is very conveniently located in town, walking distance to a grocery store and restaurants, and yet it feels like a tropical oasis with lots of privacy and gorgeous views of the ocean. The electricity went out fairly regularly due to storms and/or monkeys playing on wires in town. That was inconvenient at night, but also part of the experience. (Not the fault of the owners as it was out regularly throughout town.) The best part of the home is the front deck where you can enjoy the ocean view and watch iguanas and monkeys! The house has a minimalistic feel which works well in the humid environment. It was stocked with all the bedding and kitchen supplies we needed. We made dinner about half the nights we stayed. (There is a great fish market in town called La Pesca!) Ants were a regular challenge but spray was available to help keep them out of the kitchen. There was a large bottle of fresh water kept on the counter which was to be used for drinking. Guests refill/exchange that container at the grocery store once the original one is out. This is a very unique home, and we enjoyed our stay immensely.

Cozy Paradise!

This was the perfect home for our beach vacation! We loved it so much, that we extended our stay. The location was amazing right in front of the ocean (yet with some privacy with the trees). It was lovely listening to the waves while we enjoyed coffee and breakfast on the patio. It was ideal and super convenient to be steps away from the beach and water with our 3 children. The home had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable, and it was SUPER clean. When we wanted a break from cooking - the restaurant next door was delicious and a busy parent's dream come true! Also, it wasn't loud at night. We were incredibly appreciative of the owner and manager to add a board to the stairs blocking this for our busy toddler. This place is fantastic for families. Pia went out of her way to make our stay smooth and enjoyable, and the cleaning crew were top notch. We can't wait to go back!

Sweet place to listen to the waves from your own cabana

Close to the goods. Open, spacious, this place is right on the beach with a fabulous wave train. Grass, palm trees, private. We loved it!

Not as secluded as we thought.

Big, busy restaurant RIGHT next door that kept bright lights on all night. Other neighbors on the other side were pretty loud to late hours, also very close. We thought it was secluded and quiet. It's not. Not by my standards anyway. The beach there is just so-so. Not great for swimming really. Lots of rocks. Although it is beautiful. Only one hammock and it's on its last leg. I was a bit disappointed with the lack of little things like no coffee filters for the coffee maker. Not even salt and pepper. One roll of paper towels ECT. We didn't have enough drinking water and had to buy more. On the bright side, the house is beautiful and we'll kept. Beds and linens compfy. The property manager was great and responded well to our questions and helped us line up massages. This would be a great value for a big group.

This place was incredible and so relaxing. Amazing location and right on the beach. Pia (the host) was incredible and booked excursions for us and gave us a ton of great recommendations. Stay here - you won’t regret it!

A Jewel!

As mentioned in several other reviews, this house is in a wonderful location and well equipped. My husband and I spent a week at Casa Nuestra and enjoyed it all. The property was much roomier than we needed, particularly as we spent most of our waking hours either on the beach or on the very comfortable patio/porch. The wide roof overhangs, ceiling fans throughout, and yard/gardens of mature shade trees helped maintain a comfortable temperature day and night. We felt very relaxed and secure, especially with the round-the-clock security from the next door spa-hotel. My husband referred to this property as an "oasis" in the bustling community of Santa Teresa. We walked to several restaurants and especially enjoyed the ambiance at Habeneros. We would also recommend the downtown "upscale" fish market.

PERFECT!

What a great place. There isn't much more I can say that hasn't already been said. Loved watching the thunderstorms over the ocean at night from the hammock, howler monkeys in the tree, and the resident iguanas truly make this an amazing place! Look forward to coming back soon!
