Welcome to Casa Pacifique — an ocean view villa in the town of Potrero, Guanacaste. Perfect for families and couples, with stunning sunsets, modern comforts, and walkable access to three beautiful beaches.

LOCATION
Potrero is a quiet coastal town that blends the warmth of local Tico culture with a welcoming expat community. Once a small fishing village, it retains the charm of old Costa Rica, offering a tranquil setting far from crowded tourist areas. The newly built $50M Flamingo Marina is nearby, and guests are within a short drive of other scenic beaches like Danta, Dantita, Flamingo, and Conchal. Tamarindo is about 50 minutes away, and Liberia International Airport is just over an hour by car.

THE VILLA
Casa Pacifique spans four levels and accommodates up to eight guests. On the main level, you’ll find an open-concept living room, dining area, and kitchen. The dining space features a custom Guanacaste wood table that seats eight with ocean views. Guests can enjoy breakfast and housekeeping services (please inquire), or hire a private chef.

Casa Pacifique is our family’s second home. When we are in Costa Rica, we may stay in the private apartment at the bottom of the property. Guests have full privacy, and we do not use the pool or any guest spaces during your stay.

The house is absolutely lovely and the host is so accommodating - great communication, helpful, and responsive. We had no issues at all for our 9 nights, 6 adults. Great location near the beach w howler monkeys across the way. Good restaurants close by. The house mom is awesome, friendly and efficient, she made a tasty breakfast for us most mornings and surprised us with empanadas on the day of our arrival and on another afternoon. Each bedroom has it's own bathroom and is spacious and inviting. So many areas to hang out and enjoy the sunset and ambiance. Really one of my best VRBO stays ever and would love to come back in the future.

A Five Star Review seems too low for this experience. Home is spotless, gorgeous, and covered all our needs (and then some). The pool deck views are amazing, the pool provided a great place to wind down from excursions before getting ready for dinner. After dressing up for dinner, we had drinks from the rooftop lounge & yes I mean a rooftop lounge! Barstools, lounge furniture, disco ball bluetooth speaker, and insane views of the sunset. The rooms are very spacious with beautiful bathrooms for each. Marciela is the little unexpected precious gift that comes with your stay! Our lil' senorita made us ridiculous breakfast every morning, emptied our trash, cleaned the floors, and washed all our bath towels...I have only been able to afford a five star resort once in my life (Grand Cayman); this place surpassed that experience. We were there with three other couples celebrating my wife's 50th and it was perfecto! But the best compliment is for our host Marilia. She planned every detail down to the minute for three excursions, sweedish massages at the villa, and our transportation. If you're considering Costa Rica and this property, do yourself a favor and book Casa Pacifique first, then allow Marilia to guide you through the rest. We went while her daughter was getting married and she still found time to answer all my questions and organize every detail. I can't thank you enough! Pura Vida!

Everything about Casa Pacifique is perfection. We stayed there with family ages 12 to 75, and to a person, all were happy as could be. Marilia is excellent at coordinating everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. She books tours and golf carts and whatever you need. We didn't have to think about anything. What puts is all over the top is the beautiful and amazing house mom, Maricela. Her breakfasts and care for the house made the whole experience feel luxurious and relaxing. The town of Potrero is fabulous, and the beaches are varied and beautiful. It was one of the best vacations we have ever had!

Spectacular at every turn!

Our family spent a week at this glorious house and we loved every minute of it. From the huge support that the owner provides getting logistics and adventures set up, to the house itself - which is beautiful and could not be located more perfectly - to the stunning beaches right down the hill. All of it was a treat! And we can’t say enough about the house mom and her wonderful breakfasts. We miss it all and we will be back!!

Fantastic stay, you will not be disappointed

We were four couples, ranging in age from 25 to 62. The house is so beautiful and in a perfect location, beaches close by, restaurants, grocery stores. The host is excellent, very responsive and wants to ensure her guests have a good time. We appreciated her suggestions for trips and enjoyed a visit to hot springs and mud baths, and a glorious sunset trip on a catamaran. Really loved every minute of our stay.

First and formost we would like to thank Marilia owner of the house. She help us with our plans, rent a car, making sure our trip is align. She did all our arrangements and got us grocery. Piece of paradise!

We had a wonderful stay! The property was just as described, very well equipped, perfectly located and felt like home from the moment we stepped inside. Beautiful Villa for a Family Getaway

You will be thoroughly satisfied with this property. The nearby beaches are pristine, uncrowded, and just a 7-minute walk away (unlike Flamingo or the beach right in Potrero). There is an ice cream parlor within walking distance that attracts visitors from afar. The villa is comfortable and tastefully decorated, and the pool is large (the photos are not exaggerated). The owners are very considerate of guests' needs, providing boxes, grocery bags, coolers, beach chairs, beach towels, and beach umbrellas. The highlight was the impeccable service provided by the owner, Marilia.

Wonderful Experience!

Four couples stayed here 1/25-2/6/25, and we couldn’t have asked for more! Our host Marilia was available from the time we booked till when we checked out to help with any and everything. She set up tours, chef services (highly recommend!) golf cart rentals, transportation - you name it she covers it! The property is beautiful, and the views are spectacular. And there is no shortage of great restaurants all within a golf cart ride away.And I would be remiss if I didn’t give a shout out to our house mom Maricela - what a gem! Her breakfasts each morning were delicious and a great way to start the day. I miss her already ;)We had a great experience here, and Marilia made everything so seamless - all we had to do was relax and enjoy. I highly recommend a stay at Casa Pacifique, you won’t be disappointed!

Amazing Potrero Vacation!

There’s not enough room to share how amazing our stay at Casa Pacifique was. The property is in a fantastic location, totally walkable to beaches (that we practically had to ourselves) and amazing food and entertainment options. Marilia, the host, was super communicative, checking in to ensure our stay was fantastic. She arranged transportation and an amazing sunset cruise excursion, recommended restaurants, and activities, and even covertly arranged to have birthday decorations up when we got back one evening as a surprise for my mom. Maricela, the housemom, could not have been sweeter and her breakfasts were fantastic. So nice to not have to worry about food first thing in the morning, and she kept the house in great shape. Between the rooftop deck, the pool, the huge kitchen and spacious bedrooms, and the wonderful location, we had everything we needed to experience the true meaning of Pura Vida. Would not hesitate to stay here again!!

Pura Vida

We had a wonderful holiday at Casa Pacifique! The house was amazing, clean, and comfortable. The views were beautiful and the pool was relaxing and fun. Everyone loved the comfort of the space - the swinging chairs in the dining area were one of the highlights. We walked down to Playa Penca most mornings for a swim and walked the beach. It is a stunning and very quiet beach. I often worked out early AM on 3rd floor deck which was amazing. Our favorite restaurants were Coco Loco and Sentito Norte. Favorite experiences were horseback riding on the beach, surf lessons and ATV's. Loved the coconut water too!! Overall an amazing holiday with so many options.

Moore Family Fun

Costa Rica has been on our bucket list for quite some time. We chose Casa Pacifique and couldn’t have been more pleased. The Villa is gorgeous, and allowed a lot of space for six adults and two children. Marilia (owner of the property) made reservations for our activities and was gracious in every way. The house mom, Maricela, made us delicious breakfasts and afternoon snacks. Carpe Diem right down the hill was a favorite coffee stop, too! The wind kept us from fishing and a catamaran cruise, but two different ATV excursions, Catalina Beach, Waterfall chasing and Diamenté were all memory making. Our next trip to CR will bring us back to the villa.

Lovely Thanksgiving get away

I cannot recommend this property enough and owners enough!!! The house is lovely with many areas to enjoy, the attention to detail is amazing and the thoughtfulness of providing any necessity you could possible imagine was perfect. We loved the sweet house mom and her yummy breakfasts and snacks. It was such a great way to start the day. We really appreciated Marilia suggestions for our excursions and her concierge efforts to personalize our trips were amazing. Of note, was our 'experience leader' Hiener (aka, Goose). What a wonderful person to share our day with. If you are at all hesitant about renting this house, do it immediately!! It was an experience we will remember for a long time:)

Perfection in Portero

We spent an amazing 7 nights in Casa Pacifique. The property is well located in a small village with plenty of sodas (small open air diners with amazing food) and an awesome beach bar within walking distance. Playa Penca is also a short walk and so beautiful. At times we were the only people on the beautiful white sand beach. There are areas that you can swim out to snorkel. I can’t say enough great things about the owners, Marilia and Graciano. They attended to every question we had and made great suggestions for dining and excursions. We took advantage of the house mom service where the amazing Maricela made Costa Rican breakfasts for us. She was also there to keep the property meticulously clean. Pura vida!

Best Host, beautiful place, overall perfection

Marilia goes above and beyond to ensure her guests have an amazing experience in Costa Rica. Everything was absolutely perfect. The place, the food, the scenery…. We followed Marilias suggestions for places to explore, did the catamaran cruise, ATV beach hopping, omg the Castle is a MUST especially for special occasions. We were 8 adults celebrating my husbands 50th bday. There was more than enough room in the Villa so everyone had their own space and privacy. Marisela cooked breakfast and cleaned..it was amazing. I honestly do not have one negative thing to say. The entire 7 day trip was wonderful and went by so so fast. We were all sad to leave. Thank you Marilia for letting us enjoy your beautiful place and making the entire trip a memorable experience. Pure Vida!

Amazing vacation!

Loved the Casa Pacifique. Plenty of space for our family to retreat after tours, all coordinated by Marilia. Marilia had a 6-passenger golf cart waiting for us when we arrived, scheduled our sunset catamaran cruise, plus ATV beach tour. We also drove to Diamante Eco Adventure Park for ziplining and saw the sloths and monkeys. Highly recommend all the tours. The golf cart was perfect for driving to dinner in the evening, the breeze from the open cart was welcome after the 95+ degree hot weather during the day. Loved the hot weather. Maricela made our breakfasts in the morning - they were wonderful! Our kids would sit and try to talk Spanish with her while she cooked. Afternoon snacks were devoured quickly, empanadas and quacamole were great. The house was the nicest we have ever stayed at. Gorgeous kitchen, dining room, bathrooms, plus the pool and outdoor seating areas were over the top! Highly recommend this for your next vacation!

Look no further - you won't find better than Casa Pacifique

Believe all the amazing reviews - this place is the real deal. Excellent location in walking distance to several nice beaches, delicious restaurants, and a cute town with a grocery store. Many many more dining, shopping, and beach options are only a 10 minute golf cart ride away (we recommend renting the cart, makes getting around so easy). The house itself is just as beautiful as the pictures. Everything inside is up to date, clean, and works perfect. The kitchen is very modern with almost brand new appliances throughout. The house provides everything you would need including, as a big perk, a housekeeper who cleans up and prepares tasty breakfast and snacks. The hosts are top notch and acted as much as travel agents as hosts, going above and beyond to help us book tours and answer any questions we had (which were a lot). We really can't say enough about this place and the excellent communication with the hosts. We will be back to Costa Rica and we will be staying here again!

Paradise in Costa Rica

Every stage of the Vrbo process was fabulous!! The owners communicate everything. Any and all questions are answered! We had a wonderful time in their home. Everything you need is there! The house mom was great. Her empanadas are out of this world and her pancakes are so fluffy! Make sure you try her for at least one meal! We ran into a slight snag on a jet ski rental and when I mentioned it to the owners, she got right on it!! She was able to get us a refund!!! Which she did NOT need to do at ALL!!! Very professional and very informative! IF, we visited the same place twice, we would definitely be back!!!! Thanks again for graciously letting us make sweet memories in your lovely home!!

My husband Graciano and I are from Toronto, Canada, both born in Portugal. We fell in love with Costa Rica on our first visit in December 2015. We knew we wanted to invest in this wonderful Country and spend more time there so we completed that dream in 2018 and purchased Casa Pacifique. We fell in love with the home and area instantly. Perfectly located above Playa Penca (a short walk from the house) a local favorite and a hidden gem. Potrero is a wonderful safe town with plenty of dining choices and grocery stores. The area gives you a great feel for what it's really like to live in Costa Rica with a wonderful mix of locals and expats. The community is friendly and welcoming. We started an extensive renovation in August 2018 and spent many months living on the property to oversee the completion. Every room was modified or completely changed. What was a 3 bedroom 2.5 bathroom house with a two bedroom 1 bathroom maids house was converted to a 4 bedroom, 4 full bathrooms, 2 half bathroom villa with a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment. We enjoy sharing our home in paradise with people and helping create memories that they will never forget.

This property is unique and perfectly located. You can walk to 3 local beaches, restaurants and local grocery stores. The ocean views are spectacular. All of the different living spaces allow for guests to enjoy their own quite time or spend time together. This property truly ticked all of our boxes for us with saltwater pool, ocean views, walking distance to beach, safe, sense of community, wildlife.
