Renovated house, in the heart of the preserved district of Abatilles, just 10 minutes walk from Pereire and Arbousiers beaches.

House in the middle of the pines, very close to the bicycle paths of the seafront and away from the bustle of the city.

This house of 100 m2 on one level, with enclosed garden of 300m2, can ideally accommodate up to 6 people (maximum 6 adults). It includes a bright living-dining room, a large kitchen, 3 bedrooms: a master bedroom, a bedroom with 2 individual modular beds in double bed, and another with 4 bunk beds. 2 bathrooms each with WC, one in the master suite.
Each room has a French window overlooking the garden which allows a certain independence.

The furniture is a mix of bargain pieces (farm table, chests, chairs, 1900 geo maps ...) and new furniture (sofa, XO stools, hotel-type bedding, Fermob chairs ...).

Facilities: wi-fi, TV-DVD, washing machine, dishwasher, oven, microwave, ceramic hob, Nespresso machine, barbecue, baby equipment on request (cot, high chair).

Provision of 4 adult city bikes and 3 children bikes (sizes between 6 and 12 years old).

- 400m from Tennis Club and Thalasso
- 200m from small local shops (mini-market, pharmacy, doctor)

Wonderful little house, central and quiet location

We loved our stay in this cozy and cute little house. It is an old house, very authentic, and not luxurious but perfect for a stay at Arcachon. An absolut plus are the bycicles that come with the house. I did not use my car at all during my stay. The beach is close by and Arcachon as well. Another plus: A perfect kitchen, it made cooking so easy. The owner just thought of everything. The only little downside is the bathroom situation. The house has a shower and a second toilet but is open at the top since the bathroom is included in the bedroom. We travelled with 4 teenagers and they would have liked a little more privacy.

Disappointing

If you are a young family with kids wanting to spend the day out and then come home to sleep with no regarding for comfort or relaxing, this is the place. It is one step above camping and probably will suit certain guests. For me the place was extremely disappointing. As you arrived the first thing you saw was the sand pit of a garden with a broken down table and four chairs. No flower pots, no signs of care or making it look loved. The living room had folding chairs and two cots for couches which were ny witot comfortable to relax or lounge. The bedrooms were basic but dark and both bathrooms need updating. Hopefully you wouldn’t have a rainy day where you would actually have to stay home. The place was clean but so uncomfortable we never even unpacked our bags and went to a hotel. Just be aware. I expressed my disappointment to the host and she felt there was nothing wrong and now I am out the money.

Unsere Erwartungen wurden nicht erfüllt, unsere Anmerkungen nicht ernst genommen

Das Ferienhaus hat uns leider bei der Ankunft enttäuscht. Es war nicht sauber – Spinnenweben an der Decke, dreckiges Geschirr im Schrank, insgesamt machte das Haus einen ungepflegten Eindruck. Die Fotos in der Beschreibung scheinen veraltet zu sein und spiegeln den aktuellen Zustand nicht realistisch wider.Es gibt 2 Bäder, eins davon mit einer Verbindungtür, das andere sehr offen gestaltet – dadurch ist keinerlei Privatsphäre gegeben, man hört zumindest in einem der beiden Schlfzimmer aus beiden Bädern alles.Ein weiterer Kritikpunkt: In der Beschreibung waren Fahrräder als Teil der Ausstattung aufgeführt. Vor Ort waren diese jedoch defekt und auch nach einer Reinigung unbrauchbar. Auf Nachfrage wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass es sich um einen Irrtum handle – sehr ärgerlich, da wir uns gerade darauf gefreut hatten.Positiv hervorzuheben ist ein kleiner Lebensmittelladen gleich um die Ecke sowie ein sicherer Parkplatz für das Auto. Nachdem wir das Haus selbst gründlich gereinigt hatten, konnten wir unseren Urlaub immerhin noch genießen.

Schönes Ferienhaus in super Lage

Das Ferienhaus entspricht genau den Abbildungen/ Fotos. Es ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, man merkt, dass die Eigentümer es selbst auch nutzen. Alles ist von guter Qualität. Das Haus ist teilweise renoviert/ saniert, aber auch das nur teilrenovierte größere Bad ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Wir haben insbesondere den Bereich vor dem Haus viel genutzt, für das Frühstück und die Kinder zum Spielen. Toll war, dass ausreichend Räder im Schuppen zur Verfügung standen, die auch genutzt werden dürfen. Wir haben fast alle Ausflüge mit dem Rad gemacht. Dass es vormittags ab und an geregnet hat, hat nichts ausgemacht. Das Haus bot ausreichend und gemütlichen Platz für alle. Die Lage ist super. Man erreicht den schönen Plage Pereire, den Stadtteil Moulleau und auch das Zentrum von Arcachon einfach und schnell. Agathe hat sehr gut mit uns kommuniziert, alles Nötige erklärt etc. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in diesem schönen Haus!

Hübsches Haus mit Charakter, sympathische Vermietung, gute infrastruktur, inkl. Velos. Gute, ruhige Lage, kleine Geschäfte und Strand in der Nähe. Da und dort stehen noch ein paar Auffrischungen und Reparaturen an.

La maison d’Agathe est idéale pour des vacances au bord de mer en famille. De plein pied avec jardin clôturé les enfants peuvent jouer sans risques. Schönes Haus in ruhiger Umgebung

Das Haus hat ein sehr schönes Wohnzimmer und eine gut eingerichtete Küche. Nach Vorne und hinten gibt es einen Garten mit Sitzmöglichkeit, nach hinten etwas schattig. Der nächstgelegene Strand ist zu Fuß und vor allem mit dem Fahrrad schnell erreichbar und für alle Altersklassen schön und gut geeignet. Die Umgebung ist ruhig und sehr grün. Kleinere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe, größerer Supermarkt erst in La Teste. Dort auch regelmäßig Markt der etwas günstiger ist als die teure Markthalle in Arcachon. Die Vermieter, die das Haus auch selbst als Ferienhaus nutzen, sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen.

Un séjour très agréable

La maison est très bien située pour découvrir les alentours d'Arcachon. Elle est confortable et très fonctionnelle. Elle est très bien équipée et nous avons pu profiter de plusieurs vélos. La propriétaire est facilement joignable et nous a donné de bons conseils pour découvrir la dune du Pyla. Ne pas hésiter à louer cette maison.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette maison charmante, accueillante, décorée simplement mais avec raffinement. Ideale pour des vacances en famille, les pièces sont spacieuses. Le quartier des Abatilles très calme dans les pins et sa situation géographique et la mise à disposition des velos est un plus bien appréciable pour sillonner les alentours. La propriétaire est charmante et à l ecoute de vis besoins. Je recommande vivement cette location!!

Pleasant stay near the beach

We had a pleasant stay at Agathe's house which is near several Arcachon beaches and restaurants. With the bicycles provided by Agathe you are within 5 minutes at Pereire beach and Le Moulleau restaurants. Surfing beaches (Plage de la Salie and Biscarosse Plage) are easy to reach (20/30 minutes). Agathe always responds quick to questions. We would recommend this typical Arcachon style house for a stay near the ocean.

Perfect place to have a wonderful holiday

Very nice and clean house, very good located. We had a great time spending two weeks there. Just the garden behind the house could get a better ground. The garden in front is very nice and we spend some really cosy evenings there.

Maison idéale pour les vacances

Malgré une météo capricieuse nous avons passé un séjour très agréable dans la maison idéalement située au calme à proximité des plages et du centre ville. La maison est très bien équipée. La présence de vélos pour petits et grands est un vrai plus. Il faudrait juste rendre le salon un peu plus cocooning pour les jours de pluie. Enfin les propriétaires sont charmants et de bons conseils.

Maison chaleureuse proche du centre ville.

Malgré la pluie qui n'a cessé de tomber durant ces fêtes de fin d'année, cette maison nous a permis de nous réunir en famille dans une ambiance chaleureuse, avec un bon chauffage et où rien ne manquait. La proximité du centre et des différentes plages était un plus, dans ce quartier tranquille. Les contacts avec la propriétaire se sont déroulés avec précision et en toute confiance.

Je recommande

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour malgré une météo affreuse plus de la moitié du séjour (fin oct 2020). Nous étions 3 adultes et 2 pré ados : la maison, en tous points conformes à la description, est assez grande pour permettre à chacun d'évoluer dans son espace et dans le respect des gestes barrières ;-) en temps de pluie. Les vélos à disposition et la proximité de la plage, du skate park, des pistes cyclables et des commerces de 1ere nécessité permettent de profiter dès la moindre éclaircie. Je ne doute pas que le jardin soit un régal en plus à la belle saison. La disponibilité et la gentillesse d'Agathe (la propriétaire) et des voisins en cas d'imprévus sont aussi à souligner.
