Great cottage

Lovely cottage, beautiful grounds! Within walking distance of downtown and beautiful Ogunquit Beach. Enjoyed our stay here immensely.

Wonderful cottage!

This cottage was perfect for our family of four. It's clean and charming with everything we needed for a relaxing week in Ogunquit. We especially enjoyed the screened porch and garden. Great location on a quiet street within walking distance of the beach, restaurants and shops. We loved our time here!

Another great vacation

This is the second time we’ve stayed at Frank’s cottage and we loved it again. Great location, clean, great porch and comfortable. Frank was available but never needed. We look forward to another vacation in the hummingbird cottage!

Beautiful grounds

Great location, yard, the kitchen didn’t lack anything. Plenty of games and books. We really loved the front porch. Unfortunately the beginning of our stay was extremely hot but Frank brought fans which helped.

Great Cottage Great Location

We loved this place! Plenty of room to spread out. We enjoyed games, cards and drinks on the screen porch. Lovely garden! We could walk to town, the beach and Ogunquit Playhouse for a play. Lots of beach toys, chairs, etc. The cottage stays cools with the overhead fans and open windows.

Wonderful stay!

Wonderful cottage in a quiet neighborhood. Walking distance to beach and center of town. Very clean and well maintained. Plenty of beach gear, books, and movies to borrow. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking essentials, including a big outdoor grill. Frank was very responsive when I had questions. Only area for improvement I can think of is that the beds were a little noisy. We would definitely stay here again, though!

First time to Oconquit and we will be back for sure!

The house is within walking distance to town and beach so once you arrive you do not need a car. House is well eqiuped and very comfortable and homey. We loved the front porch! So relaxing. Nice side yard for games and nice grill in back off kitchen Frank was a gracious host, and he provides a list of recommended restaurants, etc.. we had dinner one night at Angelinas and it was excellent. Would definately return to Frank's place and Oconquit. Loved it!

Lovely Ogunquit cottage

My family had a great stay in Frank's cottage. The photos almost don't do it justice. It was immaculate, very cozy and the garden/plantings provided great privacy despite being near other houses. And the porch! So comfortable and cheery. The cottage stays cool and ceiling fans kept us kept us comfortable even on hotter days. Ogunquit summer traffic is crazy and we could leave the car and walk to town in 10 min/beach in ~15. Frank was very easy to communicate with and provided helpful recommendations before we arrived. Definitely recommend this property.

Amazing accomodations

The house is even more charming than the pictures. This was a get away for four women. We take a trip every five years and keep refining what we need in a rental. This house provided us each a space to sleep. We didn't hear one another get up during the night etc. The porch was perfect for chatting and playing games. There is a walk to the beach. Beach chairs and a wagon were provided. All together the best place we have stayed in!

Grandma’s House

This place was perfect for our family of 5. Close enough to walk to beach and town, yet set back and secluded for privacy and quiet. We loved watching the birds from the front porch and playing the chest full of older board games. Reminded us of a yesteryear visit to Grandma’s charming house.

Beautiful house in great location

We loved staying at this house! It was clean, well stocked and our family had plenty of space. It was felt secluded but was also very close to the beach and restaurants, stores, etc so easy to get around. The property landscaping was beautiful and attracted birds which you hear singing every morning when you wake up. We appreciated all the beach gear available too.

We had a great week staying here. The place was clean, spacious and quiet. We loved having beach chairs, towels and buggies for the beach. Walking down to the town and beach was good. The problem was walking back from the beach, long after being at the beach. Great place to vacation.

Geat vacation in Ogunquit Maine

This cottage was everything the owners said it was. The words charming and cozy are very accurate and the location is fabulous. We were close to everything in Ogunquit yet when we were at the cottage we felt that we were away from everything. We were there a full week and never needed to get in our car. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay.

Charm and location

Lovely, cozy and immaculate cottage within walking distance of the beach, town and Marginal Way. Breakfast on the sunny front porch was delightful. Beautiful property. Frank was very helpful and accessible. We had a fabulous stay. Highly recommend for a couple or small gathering.

We had an amazing time in Ogunquit. The house was charming and welcoming. The garden is beautiful and gives privacity to the guests. In summary, everything was in there to provide very good moments! We fully recommend a stay in this house! Everything was perfect! P.S: Don't do like us and forget to bring your own linens and towels :) We had to go to the Walmart close to Portsmouth, NH (which is a city we also recommend visiting at night!)

When you arrive at the house and have been there for less than thirty hours and your family says are you booking this place for next year? You know you have a real winner! So perfect in every way! Good house in a good quiet location!

This house was perfect in size and location for our family. The owner had provided everything you could need (BYO towels and sheets). Living space was perfect for the 4 of us and the kitchen was fully stocked with equipment to cook a full meal. This house is a nice 10 minute walk into town and a 20 minute walk to the beach. Owner had provided EVERYTHING you need for the beach in terms of chairs umbrellas etc. communication with owner was easy and turnarounds were quick. Would rent again if and when travels bring me back To Ogunquit. Highly recommended!

Charming Indeed!

Charming only begins to describe our experience! The house is beautiful in a simple and relaxing kind of way. The decor took us back decades which creates an atmosphere of peace and relaxation. Nature is all around the house which added to a natural setting of quiet and rest. If you are seeking peace, this is the house for you! Ogunquit also offers a beautiful beach, an amazing walkway along the rocky coast of Maine, and dozens of quality restaurants to choose from. We honestly can’t wait to return!

Perfect Seaside Vacation

The location of this cottage is fantastic. Within walking distance to everything Ogunquit has to offer. Easy walk to town, beach, playhouse, Marginal Way, and Perkins Cove. The house is very clean and comfortable with a homey feel. Vintage charm with modern convenience sums this property up perfectly! Highly recommend this rental and am looking forward to coming back in 2018!

Stellar Stay

As always, everything was perfection. This place is REAL, not fancy, but practical, fun and quaint. Comfortable, atmosphere for days, with access and ease. We love it here, and look forward to coming next year. This is our third time, so it is clear this place has our heart.

Pretty, comfortable, clean + excellent location

My family had such a wonderful stay here. The house is in a perfect, quiet location -- set back from the street and less than a 10-min walk to the heart of town, and about a 15-min walk to the beach and Perkins Cove. The cute property has lovely gardens that attract lots of hummingbirds, which we really enjoyed while having our coffee and breakfast daily in the screened-in porch. The house is VERY clean, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen has all of the utensils, dishware, and cookware you need to prepare meals, as well as some pantry staples like seasonings. The ceiling fans work very well, but at night you probably won't even need them. Just open the windows and enjoy the cool Maine breeze. We loved our time here and hope to return someday.

Immaculate, private and comfortable.

My son and I had an excellent time staying in this lovely cottage which, like the garden surrounding it, is in immaculate condition. In close proximity to the beach, the town, and a very short drive away from the spectacular Mount Agamenticus with its stunning views and variety of hiking trails, Vintage Charm is perfectly located. Our other favourite places to visit were the Rachel Carson reserve just up the road in Wells and the nearby Estuarine Research Reserve, a great nature spot with a short trail that leads to a largely empty beach! Hope to return someday, one week was not enough!
