Cevenol farmhouse from 1666 authentic ecological and autonomous in the countryside

This 17th century farmhouse, in the center of a magnificent chestnut grove populated by an exceptional fauna and flora, is located on the end of a ridge overlooking Chamborigaud and its viaduct with a backdrop of Mount Lozère at 1680 m . The baths that we will locate you are more beautiful than the others. We will also show you the many hiking trails (pedestrian, mountain bike, horse, donkeys ...) that wind through forest landscapes surrounded by heather and broom, scented with multiple species of flowers, trees, shrubs, wild and aromatic plants.

-The busy seasons will make you discover a multitude of flowers in spring, blackberries and apples in summer, chestnuts in autumn and the warmth of the house with its wood stove to cook sometimes under the snow some winters.

-This farmhouse has been recently restored with local and traditional materials, parquet flooring and chestnut staircase, walls lime hemp plaster, terracotta tiles.
It is fully autonomous in electricity and heating.

-The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, fridge with freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, coffee grinder with coffee beans for experts, and a wood stove for cooking, oven and hot water. A 2 gas plate for troubleshooting.
-The bathroom has a large shower with mixer and solar heated water and wood stove, a sink and a hanging toilet connected to a phytopurification by plants.
-The wooden terrace of the ground floor with the house is covered by a wisteria and a sail and has table chairs and barbecue.

-The master bedroom with a bed 160 is on the ground floor with the living room, kitchen and bathroom.

-The mezzanine is equipped with a sofa bed and armchairs, a large TV and a Wii U with some games.

-The children's room upstairs has 2 bunk beds with playmobils, comics and an assembly game for the little ones.

-In the laundry room there is a washing machine, a vacuum cleaner and a drying rack.
-Possibility to connect to 4G throughout the house.

Petit coin de paradis

Nous avons découvert un véritable petit coin de paradis avec une vue dont on ne pourrait se lasser. Tout était parfait. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques, de bons conseils pour découvrir la région et très réactifs en cas de besoin. Le logement est typique, plein de charme et propre. Le terrain immense fait le bonheur des aventuriers en culottes courtes, sans parler de la piscine qui rafraichit petits et grands dans un décor de rêve. Bref, nous serions bien restés quelques jours de plus.

Amazing and full of charme

My husbond and I had a fantastic week in this beautiful and peacefull spot in the Cevennes. We were greeted by Agnès and Daniel who were extremely friendly and very helpfull in pointing out the spectacular places to visit in the area and also where to go grocery shopping. You could feel that they were very passionate about the place and we were thoroughly introduced to how everything worked in terms of heat, electricity and suppliances. The farm has spectacular views and so many cosy places to sit and to enjoy meals or just take in the surroundings. The house has everything you need to have a comfortable holiday and we had dinner every evening beside the amazing pool enjoying the sun setting behind the mountains. And on days with no exscurtions we took lunch in the very charming court area besides the kitchen/dining room. We also had a couple of clear nights so we used it for star gazing - it was breathtaking... The grounds are beautiful and we were very fond of all the chestnut trees and all the butterflies that payed us many visits during the day. Every afternoon was spent by the pool, swimming, reading or just relaxing - it was pure bliss. Our stress level was below zero after an amazing week and we are both dreaming of going back again in the near future, because we instantly fell in love with the place. Havre de paix en pleine nature

Superbe maison en pleine forest dans les Cévennes. La vue est a couper le souffle, aucun vis-à-vis, aucune nuisance sonore ou lumineuse (paradis pour les astronomes amateurs). Très certainement un des meilleurs endroits que nous aillons jamais eu la chance de louer.

Endroit et vue exceptionnels. Petit coin de paradis !

Maison charmante, complètement refaite dans un mas d’époque. En tournée de châtaigniers, avec une vue imprenable sur les Cévennes. Chemin nécessitant une voiture pas trop basse c’est la seule chose à préciser ! Sinon tout est parfait. Merci à Daniel pour sa disponibilité et ses précieux conseils.

Site exceptionnel et maison magnifique

Ancien corps de ferme entièrement restauré en éco-conception avec des matériaux nobles et beaucoup de goût au coeur d'une nature exceptionnelle (vue dégagée sur les collines et sur le mont Lozère..). Bourg de Chamborigaud à quelques kilomètres, multitude de balades (randos, rivières, petits villages) aux alentours. Propriétaires très sympathiques, disponibles et accueillants, qui ont à coeur de transmettre leur amour de la région et de son patrimoine. Nous y avons passé des vacances absolument parfaites. Amoureux de la nature ne pas s'abstenir !

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette magnifique maison idéalement située en haut d'une crête. Pas de voisinage direct, aucun vis à vis, et une vue incroyable dont on ne se lasse pas. La terrasse est un vrai bonheur, le charme des voûtes et des vielles pierres vous projette dans le passé... La maison est très confortable, l'aspect maison autonome en énergie ne pose aucune difficulté. L'environnement offre de multiples activités en pleine nature, baignades, canyoning, randonnées....dans un cadre préservé. J'espère à l'année prochaine !!

Un paradis cévenol !

Mas ancien et bien rénové, entouré par la nature, très calme, avec une terrasse très agréable et une vue magnifique sur les montagnes environnantes. Accueil très chaleureux de Daniel et Agnès, sympathiques, enthousiastes et dynamiques, qui connaissent bien la région et nous ont donné de bonnes idées de balades et de baignades dans la région. Superbes randonnées à faire dans le coin, notamment sur le Mont Lozère. Les appareils électroménagers fonctionnent très bien, tout comme la douche. Des jeux à disposition des enfants et des plus grands, un barbecue, un hamac pour se reposer, des transats (et bientôt une piscine) ... rien ne manque ! Commerçants sympathiques à proximité dans le village de Chamborigaud (à 10mn en voiture), avec notamment une boulangerie-épicerie, une autre épicerie, un garagiste très serviable, et un boucher qui propose de bons produits, mais aussi des livres qu'il met gratuitement à la disposition de ses clients ! Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Des hôtes très sympathiques

Agnès et Daniel sont un couple très sympathique et sont venus nous accueillir en toute simplicité dans ce gîte qu'ils ont rénové pendant de nombreuses années et qui est leur résidence secondaire. Le gîte est confortable, tout en bois, et il était très propre et chauffé à notre arrivée. Une chaise et lit bébé étaient fournis ainsi que plein de jouets qui ont beaucoup plu à notre petite de deux ans et demie. L'utilisation de du four/ chaudière à bois n'est pas évidente au début et demande une certaine organisation mais Daniel nous a aidés par téléphone. Une ballade sympa au départ du gîte nous permis de voir de jolis paysages cévennols. Tous commerces à 10 min en voiture (possible de s'y rendre à pied mais un peu plus compliqué) Nous reviendrons je l'espère tester la piscine à débordement qui est en construction! Nous en avons en tout cas apprécié de rencontrer cette sympathique famille.
