About this property
Relaxing lakefront Cabin on Lake Martin
Cozy four bedroom, three bath lakefront cabin on Lake Martin. We are located on a peaceful cove where swimming, fishing, sunbathing and other water activities are easily enjoyed. The house is located on a gently sloping (almost flat) front yard with easy access to the pier and floating dock. You can step into the water from the front yard and enjoy a shallow area to play in or jump off the end of the pier into deeper water. There is a dedicated boat slip for you at the pier. Enjoy coffee in the mornings on the screened porch. Large front deck overlooks the water and offers plenty of shade. There is also a gas grill for you to use. For those chilly nights, sit by the fire pit that overlooks the water. It’s the perfect place to roast marshmallows! The house is 25 minutes from Auburn and an easy drive for football season!

The house is a great place for a relaxing weekend, super quiet, beautiful dock and a back porch that we all thoroughly enjoyed relaxing on! Our group slept 6 adults comfortably the bedrooms on well appointed beds, with plenty of clean well kept bathrooms. This is a great property for soaking up some lake time both inside and out!
We loved everything about our stay. ALL of the rooms were so clean that I wandered if we were the first to stay in this property! There was a nice cement walkway that led to the lake's edge, and the boat docks and piers were exceptional. Very little was required of us upon checkout. If you enjoy a quiet downhome southern atmosphere, then this is the place for you.
Beautiful home and location!! Exactly as advertised and very easy to get to off 280. The host was very responsive. Great experience all the way around!!
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Place was just as described and host was very quick to answer any questions that came up. Plan to make another trip back when it gets warmer to enjoy the lake!
Laura's place is located in a quiet and relaxing spot. The cabin is clean and spacious with plenty of space for the whole family. Laura was quick to respond to all of my questions and check in/check out was super easy. Would stay again.
We had a wonderful trip. The boat ramp was an added bonus. We unloaded and loaded our 24 foot boat with no problems. The house was just what we needed. The front porch was nice to have our coffee on each morning. The boat docks were nice and sturdy. I will stay here again .
Perfect lake house. The owner is quick to respond and provides great details. The kitchen is very well stocked. Rooms are good sizes. Lots of outdoor siting. The place is very clean and organized. I highly recommend and we will return!!
Very cool home overlooking Lake Martin. Great location, great swimming, large dock if you have a boat or jet ski. Property manager was great and easy to work with. We were there for July 4th, many neighbors shot of a ton of fireworks.
We really had a blast!! We had a store that is really close to us!! We had everything you needed to get started in the lake house!! Can’t wait to come back Father’s Day 😘
My party of four had a very enjoyable stay. The weather was cold so we took advantage of the fire pit and beautiful waterfront view. The crisp night air was clear and gave us a wonderful view of the night sky and the green comet. Our group likes to fish and this house was only ten minutes from the dock where we met our guide.
Highly recommend and good communication for any questions. We hosted a cousin reunion and enjoyed using the dock and cooking in the fully equipped kitchen. Roomy and nice bathrooms and hot showers. There is nice afternoon shade from mature trees across the back. The inside is clean and comfortable. The grill and back porch and deck off the master could use some power washing:-)
Most All was great!
The boat ramp lacks sufficient space to turn around after driving down to the house. One should be warned that the boat and vehicle pulling it must back completely down the driveway. A plus to the house was the ramp. We went to a public one to take the boat out…
We had an AWSOME experience at the lake house. Laura gave us some suggestions to eat and rent a boat. Boat is a must do. House was perfect for a stay on the lake. View, patio, and dock was were great. Deep water to swim off the end of the dock. FYI their is a 3-4lb catfish that lives under the dock. We threw it back. Neighbor was very nice and helpful.
This house was perfect for a family with small children. If you have a boat, our advice is do not attempt to pull/back it down the driveway. Leave it at the top of the hill beside the road until you’re unloaded, then go launch it at Dare Power Park, which also has an amazing playground. The house itself was very well stocked, had plenty of bedroom space, and a great shaded yard for the kids to play when not swimming.
We stayed a week with another family with teenagers & toddlers. It was a perfect home away from home, from the small details of lounge blankets everywhere to fresh summer flowers potted around the property, it is the perfect combination of cozy & ready for expected guests- stocked with Board games & an abundance of outside activities from corn hole to kayaking.
The dock, yard, view- every aspect of the outside aesthetic- is absolutely beautiful!
It does have a very steep driveway; however, Laura was very communicative about that & offered an easy solution to drop the boat in at the ramp a few minutes down the road!
I would definitely stay here again & loved getting to experience a week at the lake in a home away from home!
Very clean home with a beautiful setting. Nice dock for our boat and ramps as well as steps all the way to the lake. The owner was excellent to deal with.
We very much enjoyed our visit to this relaxing lake home. Host put extra effort into making our stay fun and comfortable. She even left firewood in the fire pit for us! We enjoyed grilling on the large deck which overlooked the lake, drinking coffee on the dock, hiking at nearby Smith Fire Tower, and attending an AU football game, which was an easy 35 minute drive away. We will definitely return in the future.
