Absolutely enjoyed staying at this lovely home. It was very comfortable. Convenient to the plaza. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we could possibly need. Would definitely rent it again. It was the perfect place to land with friends. Was unable to use the hot tub. That was the one disappointing thing. Other than that, the place is perfect. I’m sure they’ll rectify the problem with the hot tub for the next client. That would not hold me back from renting it again. Looking forward to returning.

Beautiful, cozy home. The artwork is amazing. Wonderful cozy bed. Very clean and well furnished. Wish we had gotten to stay longer. Loved the area too.

Such a beautiful home and garden, filled with extraordinary art and pottery to enjoy. The kitchen is stocked with everything needed for meal prep and picnicking or just enjoying lounging on the front porch. The location is perfect for walking to the Square, but still a quiet and friendly neighborhood. Returning here is definitely the top of our list for future visits to Santa Fe.

This is a large property with two bedrooms and an extra bed by the living-room. The outside patio is wonderful, very large under a roof with a pretty garden to look at. The house is very close to central Santa Fe which is also nice.The biggest complaint I have is that when going from the kitchen to the patio, you have to take two steps down to the living-room and then two steps back up. It is a tricky corner to navigate and could be difficult for people with mobility issues. There are lots of steps overall so I would advice anyone with mobility issues to be careful with this property. Otherwise a very nice property.

This House is Wired! (and Great)

This house is a humdinger! It’s a spacious and thoughtfully renovated home. My wife has macular degeneration so she could have used more and brighter lights but for most people, the lighting is more than adequate. The inside and outside furniture are very comfortable and provide lots of space for entertainment. The master bedroom is large with a nice sitting area. There is a HUGE walk-in closet and dressers with lots of empty drawers. The kitchen is large with all the various gadgets, more than adequate silverware and utensils. The owners thoughtfully provided hand soap, dish soap and body lotion in pump containers in each bathroom and kitchen. A lot of thought went into making this property a home.Now the interesting parts. This place is WIRED. It has an integrated alarm system which seems to connect all the entries, doors and smoke detectors. A smoke detector did go off in the middle of the night, but the owner was right there to help solve the problem. I don’t suggest using the alarm system unless you carried Fort Knox with you on your vacation.The house does not come with a User Manual, but it should. The following is what I discovered during our stay. There is not room in this review to describe the intricacies of the Floor Heating and Cooling system. Have the manager go over the instructions for that and the Splits (A/C). It is not entirely intuitive

It is a beautiful, well appointed house with very comfortable beds. It is located in a quiet neighborhood with easy walkable access to the Plaza. Kitchen is well designed and equipped. Front porch overlooking the garden is a delight. Overall, an exquisite place to stay in Santa Fe.

Grammy's 80th Birthday

My family of four visiting from Dallas enjoyed this cozy home. It easily accommodated two adults and two girls ages 5 and 2 1/2. The front yard was colorful and they enjoyed sitting on the patio and relaxing. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

Horrible experience

This home is super spooky. My family felt so uncomfortable and my daughter had a panic attack. Difficult to get in with very difficult steps. My friend fell and hurt her foot. We had to leave right after check in and find a hotel. The home was clean but there was a weird old house smell. Decoration was quite spooky and very dark. I usually don’t like to place negative reviews but I wouldn’t want anyone to go through the same experience on their vacation. I shared my experience with the owner and got minimal reply, sensitivity or understanding, No refunds were offered and I have no idea if insurance will help us. We had to pay twice as much for our hotel stay and quite unhappy.

Lovely house in a quiet neighborhood that is very close to the Plaza and all the happenings of Santa Fe. Wonderful, super comfortable accommodations- we loved starting and ending each day on the covered patio overlooking the garden. And good place for my dog as well. If we return to Santa Fe, we will definitely stay at Casa Buena Vista again!
