Magnificent Loft "troglo" of charm to the spur of the Castle, a beautiful volume, a lot of cachet for this beautiful space, that offers this unusual gite unsupcommed: after a pretty alley and a charming garden, nestles in the quiet of the street leading to the historic center. The entrance to the Royal Castle 300 m, the last home of Leonardo da Vinci 500 m and Château Gaillard 900 m, the place is ideal to discover on foot, remarkable sites of our region.
"The Fraggle Rock" is an open space, with an entrance and reading lounge, toilets, a large open kitchen, a lounge area, a bathroom with a large walk-in shower, and its beautiful space night.
The linen is optional as the cleaning at the end of the stay.

A very charming and comfortable troglodyte house.

We loved the unique character of this charming troglodyte house. The owner's artistic creativity comes through in the mosaics and décoration which reflects the character of the town of Amboise. The house is also well equiped and comfortable. And everything of interest in town is in walking distance.

Sweet cave life!

Charming and unique cave experience located under the ramparts of chateau de Amboise! The artwork alone makes it fun. Tiles, decor, and style are very fun. The bed is very comfortable. The kitchen bath and living spaces are very well appointed. The location is perfect: 400 meters to Clos Luce one way, 400 meters to the heart of old town the other. All walkable, even the train station. The hostess is delightful! We hope to come back!

Fraîcheur l'été dans la grotte, idéale par forte chaleur. Beaucoup d'espace, fonctionnel. On ne manque de rien. Proche de tous commerces, incroyablement calme, sans vis à vis. On a adoré, tout. A proximité des châteaux, pour certains rejoints en vélo... En 10 jours, 8 châteaux visités sur le Top 10 des châteaux à visiter.

Een speciale ervaring een grotwoning maar alles was naar wens. Fijne gastvrouw Mireille, die het mooi heeft ingericht op haar manier. Ik zou het toch aanraden om eens te proberen. Ook erg koel bij warm weer. Bedankt

Le gite Au Fragglerock était notre asile de la chaleur! Une expérience unique, culturelle et avec l'accueil amicale de Mireille une merveille. Bien placé près de tout mais loins des gens qui passent dans la rue en bas. Je reviendrai!

Confortable et bien placé

Le logement est bien aménagé, bien équipé, on s'y sent à l'aise dès l'arrivée. C'est très calme, et on est pourtant proche des activités et commerces. Très bon séjour!

Charming and fun!

Great location and fun to stay in a cave dwelling! Be aware that there is a charge for linens - not included in the price. Also, there is a noticeable smell when you walk in the door, similar to a basement, but you get used to it. Mireille is a delightful host and very helpful. The troglodyte is charming!
