Welcome To Sunny Goodstreet! Providing Clean, pleasant accommodations for local, international, traveling Adult couples, Singles, Work related visitors to America's Oldest City, St Augustine, Florida .
Kindly review my amenities on property. What's here, what's permitted, what's not. No reservation will be confirmed until Guest acknowledges they've familiarized themselves with "house rules"/amenities.
Two guests maximum, NO Overnight guests please!
No cpap sleep machines, coffee makers,cooking, pets, are permitted.
Host is Retired Medical and former Docent/Tour guide with St Augustine Historical Society. Knowledgeable of city history, you won't hear on the trolley!
Two nights minimum or One week visits.
Home made breads & fresh fruits,coffee/tea served daily in the private sun porch, at your suite entrance, 7.30-10 a.m. Time preferred by Guest.
Your suite comprises of a Queen sized bed , double dresser & closet.
Bathing- Double sized shower, Bath Sheets, homemade soaps .
Sitting area, Candle lit fireplace. (CANDLES ONLY), use of sun porch and garden patio.
Amenities include, hair dryer, iron, fire extinguisher, AC/Heat(seasonal)., Large Overhead fan.
Front lake view, wooded walking/biking trails across the street.

Off Street Free Parking.in front of home.

The suite was small, cozy, comfy, and clean, with a beautiful lanai/sun porch, and Maureen was a fabulous host! Breakfast each morning included hot fresh bread and coffee plus fruit. Location is far enough from downtown that you need to drive/Uber, but more than worth it for how peaceful and quiet it was. We enjoyed our stay and will likely be visiting Maureen again!

Absolutely loved my stay at this cozy bed and breakfast! The room had its own private entry, which made everything feel so comfortable and convenient. Breakfast was fresh, delicious, and such a great start to the day. The place is beautifully kept, quiet, and honestly such a hidden gem.Location is also perfect — close to downtown and all the stores, but still peaceful and relaxing. Native New Yorker, who moved to Florida in 1998. I've lived in St Augustine since 2012.
Retired lady from Medical field. I very much enjoyed working and volunteering,
for the St Augustine Historical Society, where I learned the amazing factual histories of the Oldest City....just ask!

I enjoy making my guests feel at home , with peaceful privacy.
The name "Sunny Goodstreet" was taken from a Judy Collins song.
Named after a shop I owned and also was my Clown name !

Why they chose this property

My first experiences with Bed & Breakfast, were in England ,Ireland, Scotland.
Lovely warm people, welcomed travelers to their great old homes, up close to
"the natives".
They went out of their way to make guests comfortable, including a breakfast.
I was impressed with the idea of personal service for travelers, versus a sprawling commercial hotel.
It was a dream I tucked away for many years, that finally came to fruition in 2017 in my favorite city, St Augustine.
Offering a clean, comfortable, reasonably priced stop over for interesting travelers!
I have hosted 100+ people from 7 countries. LOVE to hear their stories and share a few of my own!
