Great place for a quick getaway. Quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Convenient walk to historic downtown. Easy checkin. Host were quick to respond to questions
Highlights; nice property and private parking, clean room & bathroom and some kitchen amenities, located close to several restaurants, 10 min walk to main city and Intercoastal waterfront. One lowlight; one small window AC unit in bedroom (runs continuously) to cool entire area - bedroom, kitchen/Entry area & bathroom, which could be an issue on hot days/evenings. Overall, nice small unit for one or two if a short stay.
Nice place to stay and easy walk to area attractions.

Great little place for a weekend stay with everything in walking distance and safe. No need for full kitchen with for coffee, breakfast tacos and beautiful views!
The room was in a great location! We were able to walk to the historic downtown area with all the shops and to the bridge of Lions, etc. and walk around to see the Nights of Lights. We liked that the place had a parking spot in the back of the property to use. It was clean too! The host Lizy was kind and available, responding to my texts as needed
Room was clean, great location, everything we needed.

Honest review: The cute small home is located in a nice neighborhood. Walkable distance from downtown and all bars/ restaurants. It's very clean and basic essentials were provided. It even has a washer and dryer.
You could hear people upstairs walking back and forth early morning and late night. The sliding door for bathroom from the kitchen wouldn't close completely as it gets stuck with kitchen countertop leaving some space. Overall it was great!
This was a perfect little spot for a quick weekend getaway. The room was clean, had what we needed, and was super close to the historic district. We'd stay again for sure!
I am an English teacher originally from China, I emigrated to the United States in the late 90's to continue my career in teaching. I married my husband six years ago and we have two wonderful children. We are all loving life in Saint Augustine!
My Husband and initially had the opportunity to work from home and from anywhere so we traveled all over Florida from Tarpon Springs to Naples on the Gulf Coast and from Fort Lauderdale to Jacksonville on the Atlantic Coast. The choice was very clear the moment we set foot in Saint Augustine, we came back weekend after weekend and fell in love with everything to do with this wonderful, historic town. Saint Augustine has everything. We bought this property as our primary residence but after two years we had our first child and soon after realized the house was not really set up to raise a small child due to the house layout and the quite low porch balusters. However, we loved the neighborhood so much we purchased another Victorian house in the next street. We recently renovated this ground floor apartment specifically for vacation rental, we love meeting and making new friends all year round.

Why they chose this property
This house is in an historic residential neighborhood, peaceful and safe. Surrounded by beautiful Victorian era homes where just about all our neighbors are our friends. It is within a few minutes walking distance to everything Downtown Saint Augustine has to offer. One of the most attractive things to my husband and I was the fact we don't have to drive anywhere except to the supermarket once a week. There is also something going on almost every weekend, festivals, art/craft shows and music everywhere.
