The villa was stunningly beautiful, incredibly private and restful, the views are to die for and we would happily stay again!Having a garage was also a pretty unique asset given we drive down in our own car and it was during the “heatwave” so having somewhere to keep the car out of the sun was great.

The Villa was exceptional - breathtaking views, relaxed & very livable. Kitchen well supplied, stores nearby in town. The infinity pool was delightful even in April! Property managers Hafida & Imane were helpful in a timely manner. Family visits were enjoyed by all ages (3 generations) - grateful & hope to return

Fabulous property with stunning views across the Mediterranean and Cavalière Sur Mer. Wonderfull infinity pool. The best place we have ever stayed for the view. Great bonus to have a garage. We were however amazed that such a luxury villa would have no hand soap, in the bathrooms and toilets. We were expecting one or two dishwasher tablets and Nespresso coffee pods to get us through a few days before we went shopping again. We had no idea what coffee machine we would find. It was lovely to have received a bottle of wine and relishes from our host but we would have preferred the few basic essentials mentioned above. We had a wonderful stay which was marred slightly by having to clear up the waste bin on the road which was nightly visited by wild boars looking for food who tipped it over and ripped the lid open. We cleared up the previous visitors baby nappies a couple of times. We did however enjoy a fabulous week which could have been made just a little more fabulous if the points described were catered for or did not happen.

Thank you very much for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We are delighted to hear that you had a wonderful stay and, in particular, that you enjoyed the exceptional views over the Gulf of St Tropez, as well as the infinity pool and the convenience of the garage. It is always a pleasure to know that our guests appreciate the unique setting of the villa. We are, however, sorry that a few details affected your experience. Regarding the equipment and amenities provided, an arrival guide is sent to all our guests before their stay. This welcome booklet contains detailed information about the villa, including the equipment available and, in particular, the different coffee machines provided, so that guests can plan accordingly before arrival. We will nevertheless take your comments on board and consider whether some additional basic essentials, such as hand soap, dishwasher tablets and coffee pods, could be provided as a welcome supply. We are also very sorry about the issue with the waste bin and the inconvenience caused by the wild boars. Unfortunately, this is an issue that can occur in the area, but having to deal with the waste and the previous guests’ rubbish and nappies was certainly not the experience we would wish for you. We will look into possible solutions to prevent this from happening again. Thank you again for your kind words and constructive suggestions. We are pleased that, despite these inconveniences, you enjoyed a fabulous week, and we hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back in the future and making your next stay even more fabulous.

I cannot say enough good things about la Villa du Soleil d'Or...or about its owner and caretakers. From the very beginning several months ago when booking my reservation...through the actual use of the property, the owner was very prompt and helpful in answering any questions I had. Additionally, her staff was equally supportive at every step of my booking and stay. For example, they helped me late in my booking to find a private chef for a small birthday party at the villa with friends. And the overall experience with that chef was absolutely flawless and fantastic.I think it's important to add that no VRBO rental property in my experience is ever absolutely perfect...and that includes la Villa du Soleil d'Or. HOWEVER...la Villa du Soleil was as close to perfect as I have ever experienced. Any issues we DID have were minor. And more importantly, the owner and her team responded promptly and effectively to any issue we had. That made our 2 week stay absolutely flawless.I'll also add that our party consisted of a highly demanding group of friends made up of Americans, French, Brazilians and Swedes...all of whom have extremely high expectations as very well-traveled people. We rent houses like this every 2 years together for a similar vacation across Europe. And every single person in our group said the exact same thing: THIS WAS THE ABSOLUTE BEST HOUSE WE HAVE EVER RENTED.Merci beacoup Virginie, Imane et Hafida ! C'étaient les vacances de mes rêves !

Stunning view from a gorgeous villa

We spent the most relaxing holidays in this spacious villa overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. It was the perfect place for us, a family of five (but it could easily accommodate ten). We loved the tasteful interiors and the aesthetic exteriors, and the heated infinity pool was the absolute highlight. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and were happy to use the barbecue plancha every day. All in all, the days at the Villa du Soleil d'Or have been extremely peaceful - we are looking forward to returning to this sanctuary.
