We absolutely love this place. The location right next to the park and the sunlight front room are unbeatable. This is always our first choice when we come to STL.
Wonderful location for a fun few days in St. Louis! We loved the park across the street and the neighborhood. It was easy to get to all the local tourist attractions. The kitchen was stocked though there was no breakfast for our first morning as advertised. The beds were comfortable, but the rest of the furniture is getting very worn and tired. I would recommend this as a great budget accommodation.
Excellent stay! We were wanting something close to our daughter's home and we couldn't have gotten better - exactly 1 mile and a 4 minute drive. Would definitely stay again if available later this summer. Only downfall is to be aware that it is a second floor rental and if you are elderly and are unable to do stairs this would not be the property. It is clearly described in the description though!
We loved staying here. The rooms were very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The parking was simple and right out front. There was a helpful welcome guide. We would stay again.
Excellent location! Apartment was cost warm even under the extreme weather conditions we encountered.Great reading library.View across the street was spectacular. One of sr Louis’s nicest neighborhoods
This rental was the perfect place for my trip. Beautiful home, great location, ample street parking. Bonus points for the cute donut shop recommendation.
Location, location, location: this apartment certainly has that going for it, as nearly all reviewers have noted. St. Louis Hills is a beautiful neighborhood, and the view of the north end of Francis Park is fantastic, especially in springtime. On arrival, everything was reasonably clean (except that the coffee maker was left with used coffee grounds inside). The mattress in the master bedroom is comfortable.Beyond these positive features, however, the apartment is rather dark, populated with a random collection of furniture and equipment, and in need of updating. For instance, there's a large variety of lamps, not all of them working, and none of them providing enough light for comfortable reading.Communication about the apartment's features, rules, and procedures through the VRBO website is limited: no specifics about check-in or check-out, for instance. There is a binder with somewhat more detailed printed information in the apartment.Specific problems during our stay included inability to connect devices to WiFi on arrival, fixed after the owner restarted the router. There was also a lightweight shower curtain liner with a large hole and tears along the top that tended to float toward the person in the shower once the water came on, causing it to stick unpleasantly to that person. To sum up: it's an adequate and comfortable enough unit with potential to be so much more with a little updating and attention.
My wife and I were in town to see family. The location was great with the park across the street and close by our family. The home is very spacious and comfortable and clean. We both would stay here again in the future.
Beautiful property, very quiet and serene. We were just there to visit family but seems very convenient to all the parks, entertainment. Close to main highways and restaurants, stores, etc. Owner was very responsive and kind, even offering to bring me medicine and food after a bout with food poisoning. Highly recommend! A1 service!Carol
