Perfect place to stay in Tavira

Less than 5 minutes walk to the train station, and a LIDL grocery located adjacent to the station.

This apartment is large and has a lovely balcony large enough for outside dining. Located on the 4th floor of the building with a lift, the apartment is quiet. The A/C ,all the appliances, WI-FI and showers all worked as advertised.

Short walk of less than 10 minutes to the central square along the river. Restaurants and shopping along the way to the center.

Owner was very helpful and assisted in making our stay enjoyable.

The rental was well situated and had everything we needed. Loved the terrace!

Super easy check in! The bed was super comfy and the linens were top quality. The kitchen was well equipped. We were in the best location in Tavira for ease of walking everywhere. The supermarket was close by and had everything we needed. The centre of Tavira with all of its wonderful restaurants was an easy walk. So was Santa Luzia. We loved having 2 bathrooms. The only thing I could recommend would be a slip proof rubber mat for the bottom of the bathtub as it was very slippery and I am almost 70 so very conscious of falls prevention. Basically, I would strongly recommend this great rental.

Loved the location in the town, really got to know and enjoy it

Unfortunately we were there during a period of unusual bad weather Feb-Mar so could not enjoy the balcony and rooftop views with glimpses of the ocean. The location of the apt was great, the bed comfortable, heating good as needed and apt layout spacious and good.

Terrific Tavira

The Tavira apartment was very spacious, comfortable and exceptionally clean. It’s location is central and within easy reach of train station, bus station and supermarkets. The apartment block was quiet and well maintained. A particular plus was the spacious south facing sheltered terrace for eating and relaxing. The beds were comfortable and the heating efficient for the colder evenings. We had an extended stay this winter and it was home away from home exactly as the owner described.

Thinking of the winter days when the sun does not appear, fortunately few : ) , we have already installed the latest generation air conditioning. Excellent location to the beautiful town of Tavira

Very spacious apartment with beautiful balcony views......although the property is dated it is very clean , well maintained and has all you need for a very enjoyable selfcatering stay....our host Paulo was in touch frequently with us.... Lidl and Tavira train station a 5 minute walk from the apartment...the apartment is located on a lovely quiet street we felt so at ease here...Tavira itself is only a short stroll away...we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this apartment it all added to the loveliness of Tavira...we will most definitely return in the future

Close to restaurants, cafes, shops, historic area, river and markets, a natural park and beaches where nature reigns.

Tavira, crossed by the river Gilão, is one of the most fashionable cities in the Algarve. A Roman bridge links the city and provides a unique landscape.

To the beach can be reached from the city in boats that transport to the Ilha de Tavira, or from the Four Waters, crossing an area of ​​salt, full of birdlife. Nearby are the beaches of "Narrow Land" and "Barrel", with access from the town of Santa Luzia, land of fishermen, capital Octopus, which is about 3km from the center.

The Narrow Land is accessible by boat. The Barrel or through a tourist train or a pedestrian route 15 minutes.
