Fortaleza is situated on the edge of Cabanas village, with the village of Conceicao and Benamor golf course a 5 minute walk inland. The air-conditioned first floor apartment has a bedroom (2 persons), a large living/dining room with a double sofa bed (2 persons), a sun terrace and secure parking. Cabanas is a fishing village and beach resort in the unspoilt Eastern Algarve just 4kms from the historic town of Tavira. The area boasts numerous blue flag beaches which are accessed via water taxi, ferry or land train (Cabanas included), all have white sand clear water and plenty of space. The village has numerous restaurants and snack bars together with all the amenities you would expect: supermarkets, ATMs etc. Transport links are excellent with the train station and bus stops just a 2 minute walk. There are a further 4 golf courses within 20mins drive. Part of Ria Formosa Nature Reserve, the area is of interest to walkers, birdwatchers etc.

Quiet and Comfortable Stay

We enjoyed our two week stay at Cabanas Gardens. Wonderful location close to downtown and beach access. The swimming pool onsite was an added bonus. We found friendly but quiet clientele / neighbours made us feel at home. Our host, Nathalie, was always very helpful.

Amazing stay

What a beautiful place cabanas is. Lovely beach, lovely restaurants, lovely pool at the complex. Everything with the apartment was as expected if not better. Communication with the host was simple and she could not be more helpful. I would 100% recommend this place to stay.

The apartment has all the amenities. The patio is sunny after late morning so a great place to sun. Cabanas is a small place and the apartment is within walking distance to many restaurants, small supermarkets, and both bus and train stations.What's not to love!W

A Getaway with welcome amenities.

The only negative was a lack of internet connection due to a company hardware issue and no a technical servicing during the weekend, Connection was made on early Monday with capability to review 550+ emails, specifically travel updates.

Quiet town of Cabanas that has everything you need

The apartment was in the perfect location. It was a two-minute walk to the boardwalk and a three-minute walk to restaurants and bars. In the evening it was very quiet without any noise or distractions. I did a five week stay over the months of February and March. There were enough restaurants open in February and lots in March. It was about a 17 minute walk to the Conceicao train station which gave you access to many towns in the Algarve.

Great apartment, spotlessly clean & super location. It's well equipped & the king size bed was a bonus. The owner Nathalie & her husband responded brilliantly when we were unable to get into the apartment one evening. There was an issue with the door lock. Within 30 minutes of alerting them of the issue, they both came to the apartment & access was gained. No hesitation in recommending this apartment & location.

Parfaite localisation et magnifique vue piscine

L’appartement est très confortable, très bien équipé et idéalement situé à Cabanas. La vue sur la piscine est magnifique. On peut aller à la plage à pied, une petite épicerie est aussi accessible à pied sans soucis, les cafés et restaurant de cabans sont eux aussi facilement accessibles à pied. Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour et nous recommandons fortement cet appartement. Le seul bémol pour nous est le système de clé nécessaire pour alimenter l appartement en électricité (hors frigo). Il est impossible de mettre le lave linge ou le lave vaisselle en marche en dehors de nos heures de présence à l appartement. Si nous comprenons la raison de la mise en place d un tel système (locataires indélicats), il n en demeure pas moins que ce point nous a un peu ennuyé.Quoiqu’il en soit, ayant déjà loué plusieurs appartement à Cabanas, celui ci est d un très bon rapport qualité prix.
