The stay at Precious Past was exactly what a stay at a VRBO should be! Eric was an excellent host - very helpful and very accommodating! The room was authentic and brought back a lot of our past history in the Cajun Culture. We will definitely be back with friends!

It was a beautiful, isolated venue. We were here for Festival Acadian. The best Festival in Louisiana in my opinion. A lot of Cajun History including Catholic service on Sunday in French. The 1st floor room in the Barndiminium was beautifully decorated with antiques and memorabilia. Was almost like sleeping in a museum. Was very artistically decorated and shelves were stocked with fantastic books of all type. The property itself is beautiful and peaceful. Old Live Oaks hundreds of years old. Your greeted by a very friendly pup as you exit your vehicle. Ducks followed Eric the owner everywhere he went on the property. There's a pond and canoes you can paddle around in. Looks like a 10 to 14 acre lot of property in the middle of nowhere but close to everything. I highly recommend this property.Bill and Lynne

Beautiful Get-a-Way

If you are looking for a place to unwind, this is the place. My husband and I had the most relaxing time. Beautiful old oak trees, a pond to fish, outdoor grilling, and the owners are super nice. We are looking forward to going back.

Enjoyed our stay.

As described except for the breakfast part of "bed and breakfast". No breakfast items except for a packet of instant oatmeal. The owner was great, however, and recommended a great place for dinner, "The Little Big Cup".

Hello. Thanks for staying with us and I am glad you enjoyed your accommodations. However we do not market as serving breakfast through VRBO, due to the lower rates we receive. We do market as a B&B through our own website, where you can select the option of with or without breakfast. That website is on our in room brochure if you would like to book in that manner next time. I am sorry for the confusion. I hope that you can return and if so book va through CountrycCharm BB. I cannot send a link through this platform.

Peace and Quiet

The VRBO listing/photos are 100% accurate. At the end of a dead end road. Huge live oaks shade the property which is exceptionally well maintained. Cannot hear the highway traffic while inside or outside. The pond is beautiful and offers decent fishing as well as the perfect place to just sit and appreciate life. The outdoor kitchen is fully equipped. Eric is an exceptional host.

Week visit

The Owner Eric was very knowledgeable about the area. The community is very friendly. The Fruit stand had the best burgers in the area. We also suggest Glenda’s Kitchen, she is only open 10am to 2pm.

Peaceful & Beautiful

My husband and I needed a weekend away and we couldn’t have asked for a better mini vacation! Eric the property owner is fantastic. He told us the best places around and got us reservations for a great restaurant downtown. The property itself is beautiful, quiet and clean. I would definitely come again.

A Relaxing and Renewing Little Place

The property is beautiful and so serine and almost magically peaceful. Even with the nasty weather, it was wonderful. Rain on the tin roof ❤️. A real sweet little place.

Excellent experience

My wife and I, for multiple reasons, had been stressed, overwhelmed, and seemed to have unintentionally neglected our relationship. This was a beautifully serene property was just what we needed for some quality time with each other, to remind of us that we need to take care of our own needs so we can be our optimal best for each other and the loved ones in our lives.

Breaux Bridge

This is such a peaceful, lovely place to stay. The grounds are just beautiful with the large live oak trees and moss hanging from them. The pond is so pretty just to sit and enjoy. Eric was helpful with anything that we asked, and gave us great places to eat and the food was delicious. We will come again. Thanks for sharing your beautiful peaceful place with us.
