Step into your home away from home with this well-appointed 2 bedroom condo in Calgary's trendy Inglewood neighbourhood!
This bright and sunny penthouse unit features 10-foot ceilings, in-suite laundry, and high speed internet, among other amenities. While the building has a communal terrace on the 2nd floor, you wont need it because the condo has its own private 300-sq ft terrace featuring two seating areas (one facing north, one facing east) and a gas BBQ.
When you walk in the front door, you walk into the kitchen which features quartz countertops and stainless steel Whirlpool appliances including a dishwasher and natural gas range, as well as a Vitamix blender, Instant Pot, and Phillips cappuccino machine. The full size kitchen table has ample space for four.
The living room has a couch and lounge chair, and a 65" flat screen TV with Netflix and a Chromecast (but no cable).
The master bedroom features a comfortable queen size bed with Tempurpedic mattress, quality linens, a ceiling fan, and blackout blinds. The second bedroom office has a murphy bed, which keeps a double Tempurpedic mattress out of the way unless you need it.
The bathroom boasts double sinks, quartz countertops, a walk-in shower, and Kohler fixtures.
The condo does not share any walls with any other units, making it private and quiet. Its fourth floor location means it gets plenty of bright, natural light. Still, because of its location and proximity to the airport, some flight noise is inevitable. If you're a light sleeper, please let me know and I'll leave you some earplugs just in case you need them. (I myself have never needed them because I don't find the flight noise all that disruptive -- but I want to be very up front about it so there are no surprises.)
And as for the neighbourhood, Inglewood is hard to beat, with a wide variety of bars and breweries, shops and boutiques, and restaurants and coffee shops within easy walking distance. Please see the guestbook for a lost of local favourites and recommendations. :)
Heated underground parking is available at no extra charge, but must be arranged in advance. There is free street parking available directly across the street from the front door of the building.
Public transit is also easy, with the #1 bus 1 block to the west, and the new Max Purple line 2 blocks to the east. Meanwhile, the bike pathway and trail system makes walking and biking around the neighbourhood (and beyond) safe and easy.
If your dates aren't available, please send me a message to see if there is any flexibility in the schedule. This condo is a pied-à-terre, so I block off time to use it and sometimes forget to un-block dates that are in fact available. It doesn't hurt to ask! :)
