The chalet is intimate and romantic. It is provided with a double bedroom, a single bedroom, a living room with kitchen and dining space; an additional bed can be located in the living room. The equipped kitchen has the dishwasher. The shower cabin is independent by the toilet, so you will be able to use them separately.

The estate 'Santa Tecla' is halfway between the east and west sides of Sicily. The house is in the countryside, surrounded by gardens and olive groves and is just 3 km from the beach.

Let's view the position on the highway Messina-Palermo, it is the only area of ​​Sicily from which you can reach all major destinations (from Palermo to Mount Etna, for example) in one-day trips, never change hotels!

Klein maar leuk huisje, erg mooi gelegen op een berghelling in Oijfboomgaard

Wij waren met 3 personen (2 volwassen en een 16 jarige), de extra kamer is bereikbaar via de hoofdslaapkamer. Verder niet groot maar aangezien je buiten leeft is dat geen probleem. Airco werkte goed, hangt in hoofdslaapkamer. Elke dag BBQ in de tuin. Het is er echt heel stil een je komt er goed tot rust. In de buurt is niet veel te doen maar je zit vlakbij de snelweg. Er waren wat technische problemen maar deze zijn snel door de eigenaar opgelost. Wij dahcten alles hier vandaan te kunnen bezoeken maar daar is Sicilie echt te groot voor. Dus ga niet op 1 locatie zitten voor te lange tijd.

ruhige Lage, schöner Garten.

Der Garten und die Lage sind absolut herrlich, wenn man Ruhe und Entspannung will. Nur die Betten könnten etwas bequemer sein. Größere Ortschaften mit guten Restaurants sind ca. 30 min Autofahrt entfernt. Ein Supermarkt ca. 12 min.

Schönes, rustikales Chalet

Das Chalet ist am Hang gelegen mit schöner Aussicht aufs Meer. Der Garten ist groß und hat eine Dusche unter dieser man sich Abkühlen konnte. Zudem standen ein paar Olivenbäume im Garten, die Schatten gespendet haben. Der Steingrill lockte zu gemütlichen Grillabenden. Das Haus selbst ist gemütlich, praktisch eingerichtet, es war alles da. Den Kaffee musste man auf italienische Weise zubereiten. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern vor Ort war gut. Sie sprechen gut Deutsch und waren sehr hilfsbereit. In der Umgebung gibt es leider nicht viel zu Besichtigen. Man musste viele Kilometer mit dem Auto zurücklegen um etwas von der Insel zu sehen. Ein Ausflug zur Insel Vulcano oder eine Stadtbesichtigung von Cefalu, Tindary und Taormina sind sehr empfehlenswert. Es war insgesamt ein schöner erholsamer Urlaub!

Die Lage überzeugt

Wir waren Anfang Mai für 11 Tage in diesem Ferienhäuschen. Es liegt sehr schön am Hang, von Bergen umringt, mit Blick aufs Meer. Sehr idyllisch. Der Garten ist sehr groß und schön, mit super Steingrill und auch einigen Bäumen unter denen man Schatten suchen kann, wenns mal zu heiß wird. Der Garten ist außerdem sehr gepflegt. Der Pavillion im Garten könnte mal einen neuen Tisch vertragen, und Liegen zum entspannen wären auch nicht schlecht gewesen. Zur Ausstattung im Haus: Das Haus ist eigentlich sehr gemütlich, die Ausstattung könnte jedoch deutlich besser sein. Es gab leider keine Weingläser, nur ein altes Schneidbrettchen, das nicht mehr zu gebrauchen war, keine großen Tassen, nur ein Geschirrtuch für 11 Tage und Fernseher ohne deutsches Programm. Für Menschen mit Rückenproblemen sind die Betten nicht zu empfehlen :) Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern vor Ort war super, da die Vermieter perfekt deutsch und englisch sprechen und alles problemlos geklappt hat. Insgesamt war es ein wunderschöner Urlaub, auf einer traumhaften Insel.

Très jolie propriété

Très jolie propriété. Beau jardin. Très tranquille. Sara qui nous a accueilli est vraiment très gentille et serviable. Pas très facile a trouver par contre. L e petit panneau est caché par les arbres... Magnifique vue sur la mer. Nous avons eu droit au beau couché de soleil tout les soir. Dommage qu'il n'y avait pas de chaise longues pour le jardin. L'eau de la douche coule un peu dans la cuisine. Nous avons visité le parc Nébrodi, magnifique. Très beau pour randonner. Vraiment dommage que la plus part des fruits et légumes sont importé d'Espagne alors les arbres étaient pleins de fruits mûr... Par exemple les nèfles. Nous avons visité Alcara Il Fusi, St. Agata Militello et nous avons visité le Stromboli 2 jours.

Amazing place

We spent one week in this chalet, it was pretty, clean and well equipped. The surrounding was amazing: a huge garden with a beautiful view, an outside kitchen and an olive tree grove. Despite the winter we found a warm climate, so my daughter enjoyed the garden as much as possible. The owner was very kind and helpful and gave her a bike (for free!). We found many good typical restaurant close to the house (5-10 minutes by car). We hope to come back during the spring, it will be even better!
