Country Farmhouse with additional cabin and chalet for additional cost
About Jennifer Kubic
I first fell in love with the property when my husband and I were dating in 1999. We soon bought the chalet in 2000 and completed work on that. Then, In 2007, we bought the barn, the cabin and the farmhouse and put in the pond, trails and rebuilt the barn. I absolutely love the outdoors and it's been the perfect weekend and summer get away with our children and dogs. Every year we enjoy it more and more.
Jennifer Kubic purchased this Chateau / Country House in 2000
Why Jennifer Kubic chose Spring Creek
We originally visited this property when it was a bed and breakfast called Spring Valley. We loved the place so much, we later bought it and turned it into the Galloping Inn.

Cozy and relaxing
We had a wonderful stay in the farmhouse for a weekend reunion with extended family during the holidays! It was tastefully decorated for Christmas. The house was a perfect size to accommodate 13 of us, as well as dogs. We did bring one air mattress and a sleeping bag for one of the kids. There were a few ladybugs found in the house, but they weren't a problem (the house guidebook referenced them).
The home and property are beautiful! We enjoyed petting the horses, playing frisbee (there was hardly any snow), swinging on the porch swing, and walking around the pond and property.
We also liked cooking up feasts in the charming kitchen, gathering for a movie upstairs, and chatting or playing games in the living room with the fireplace going.
This restored house has so much charm. The photos can't capture how nice it is. We were surprised by how big some of the bedrooms were. The woodwork inside is gorgeous. We made some great memories. Many thanks!
Jennifer, the owner, did a great job of communicating with me in the process.
Thank you so much for your positive review and choosing to spend your valuable vacation time at the Galloping Inn. We love sharing the charm of the inn with new guests and hope you’ll come back for more happy memories. All the best in 2020!!!
Fun weekend at the Inn
Once again my group had an amazing few days at the Inn. The amenities are great and we had lots of space for everyone!
Great location for 4 generation family reunion
Our family of 20 spent 4 nights. We ranged in age from 11 to 87 and came from all across the US. It was so great to all be together but yet have our own space. The 80 year olds stayed in the cabin - which worked out perfectly since it has no steps. We ate all our meals in - splitting between the farmhouse and chalet depending who was cooking. We enjoyed everything that was available - horseback riding, swimming, hiking, a bonfire and just visiting on the chalet deck or farmhouse back porch. During the warmer afternoons, our group completed two 1000 piece puzzles which were in the chalet. This was the perfect place for all of our family to be together.
Thank you so much for this wonderful review. We love that you and your family had such a great time together. We hope you will return. All the best, today and always.
