Our stay was fantastic. The house and surrounding landscape bring a quiet, peaceful, and whimsical stay. In regards to cleanliness, everything was fantastic, cleanest hot tub I have ever seen at a rental. The close access to river was also nice, we enjoying walking around and exploring. Our nights included cooking over the open wood grill, firewood provided by the owners, which is very nice. Will stay here again without hesitation.

The place is more lovely than depicted in the photos. The communication from the hosts pre arrival was the best we’ve ever gotten from 50 rentals. We loved being close to both Turkey Run and Shades, the hot tub worked flawlessly and the fire pit area is huge. It’s a very restful place to stay.

Beautiful property, met the owner the second day and thought he was nice. Our original plans were to hike both state parks and do some fishing. Both parks were awesome. The fishing wasn't the Greatest due to water level and ease of access but not the owners fault.. would definitely stay again for a shorter time frame. Other than the state parks there isn't a lot to do in the area. Thanks

My husband and I live in Marshall, Indiana with our family. We both work in the local school systems and enjoy family time, the outdoors, and spending time with friends. Our desire is that all those who visit and call Eagles Rise their home away from home may find Hope, rest, and refreshment~all while enjoying the beauty of God’s creation. My husband bought this property 20 years ago and fell in love with the scenery. However, the cabin needed some TLC. Over the years, it has undergone extensive remodeling and we are excited to invite you as our guests to, we hope, enjoy a place we love and enjoy.

Why they chose this property

Simply said, it is Beautiful!
