Hudson House is a beautifully crafted Northwoods home located on Dollar Lake. Offering its very own canoe and rowboat, this home provides everything you need for a relaxing getaway on the Chain of 28 Lakes. Come in from a day on the shared beach to gather around the fireplace for movie night on the cable-equipped TV. Year-round accommodations await your stay! Located close to the World Championship Derby Complex, the Northwoods is home to an extensive ATV/UTV and snowmobile trail system dubbed the Snowmobile Capital of the World.

Our second year!! Great location with lots of privacy and our own pier. Also access to Chanticleer for dining and boating. Very clean and noticed some new upgrades. Beautiful large deck with wonderful lake views. We hope to be back again!

Great Cabin

Fall Weekend Getaway

Weekend Getaway

Very clean and very picturesque! Got about 28” of snow while we were there and really enjoyed the deer that came by the house very morning and evening. Will definitely return!

Peaceful 4th of July vacation

We loved this house! The amenities are spot on. We loved how many towels there were, so we were not doing daily laundry on vacation. The beach area is a short walk on a trail and our kids loved it. The lake is so peaceful. The home was very clean.

World Championship Weekend

Cute place tucked in the woods. We enjoyed watching deer stroll through the yard while we drank our coffee in the morning. It was perfect for our group to hang out together, while having our own spaces to sleep.

Cozy Cottage - Great Fishing

Cosy cabin that slept five comfortably. The rowboat is good-sized and could seat three people. Kitchen is small, sized for 2 at the most. Very close to town and convenient to the grocery store. Excellent fishing in the lake, we caught lots of bass.

Beautiful home and location

This home is clean, well-equipped and roomy. The living room is lovely, with big windows looking over the lake and the woods. There's a large deck for relaxing in the sun or looking at the stars. Each room was really well-equipped. The bathrooms had soaps, plenty of towels, hairdryers, etc. The kitchen had towels, a sponge, dish soap, and lots of cooking utensils. The house is on a beautiful, small, quiet lake and there's a nice bench for relaxing on the pier. The location of the house is excellent. The Chanticleer is just down the road, and its a short drive to get into town.

Eagle River

Great property! We had a wonderful stay and we’re able to ski on several trails in the area. Only complaint was accessing the property. Electronic door code was provided the morning of check-in by property management Vancasa. Turns out the door was unlocked by a key housed in a manual key safe for which the provided code did not work. Vancasa help number did not provide much help and we were only able to get the proper code through the help of an employee at the adjacent resort who happened to know the owner of the house. Not really acceptable service by Vancasa.

Pretty View

Had a great time despite some negatives about the property. The view from the deck is awesome! Nice & close to some bars & restaurants. The walk down to the lake is really very nice & easy just like the pictures show. Future renters if you plan to cook there, bring everything. You will need olive oil, spices, Pam, tin foil, ziploc bags, paper plates, etc. Every house we rent is different so I like to point this out. Bring your own pans to cook in unless you like teflon in your food. Pots & pans need to be replaced ASAP! The kitchen lacks a lot! Bring shoes to walk around in the house with unless you don't mind walking on the most disgusting, dirty carpeting I have ever seen. A shame that they have not replaced it or at the very least have them professionally cleaned. Yuck! Unless the carpeting was replaced or professionally cleaned and they upgraded some things in the kitchen, I would not rent this place again. Sorry but just need to be honest.

Great Way to Reset

A great quiet weekend with Family is the way to reset. This awesome cabin was everything we needed to have a great weekend away from all the noise of a busy vacation destination. We had wonderful time taking in the local culture and resting in a quiet lake home with little to no noise form the neighborhood. Thank You!
