A dreamy stay in the French countryside

We had a truly wonderful stay at this charming home. Peaceful, beautifully maintained, and perfectly located for exploring the Loire Valley. Every detail was thoughtfully considered—from the comfortable beds to the well-equipped kitchen and lovely outdoor space. Davy was warm, responsive, and made us feel incredibly welcome. Our only regret was not staying longer. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an authentic and relaxing escape in France!

Peace and quiet

Davy was a wonderful host and we really enoyed the property. Very quiet, but only a few minutes drive from the small village. Only thing I would change is installing some screens on the downstairs bedroom and bathroom window so there can be ventilation without bugs.

Très belle semaine passée au gite de montrieux en sologne, gite au calme, très bien équipé, très bien chauffé, propre...propriétaire très accueillant, à l'écoute et très réactif pour rajouter un lit à ma tante qui avait dû mal à monter les escaliers...tout était parfait, nous avons adoré le coin cheminée ! Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir !

Notre arrivée a été très facilitée par les indications données par notre hôte. Nous avons pu modifier facilement les dates de départ et d arrivée. La maison est en lisière de forêt, idéal pour se promener en pleine nature mais également située non loin des châteaux de la Loire. La maison est fonctionnelle.

Dieses rustikale Haus liegt in einem Gelände mit altem Baumbestand am Waldrand in sehr ruhiger Lage am Ende eines Feldweges, so dass ein eigenes Auto notwendig ist. Die geographische Lage ist ideal für einen Besuch von Chambord, Blois und Cheverny. Der Besitzer war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Endroit très calme. Maison avec le charme de l'ancien et modernisée avec des fournitures de qualité. L'insert dans le séjour apporte un vrai plus et rend l'espace séjour/salle à manger agréable à vivre. Les 2 salles de douches chacunes avec wc sont un vrai plus.Cuisine bien équipée et en plus un BBQ charbon est disponible.Chateau de Chambord à environ 20-25 minutes.Fortement recommandé.

Parfait pour les amateurs de calme et nature !

Le gîte est très bien équipé et chauffé - le bois pour les flambées est fourni : parfait pour un automne humide. Dans un très bel environnement au calme mais proche des châteaux de la Loire, il est très bien situé pour les balades à vélo et l’observation des oiseaux. Le restaurant La Margotine dans le village est excellent - penser à réserver ! Et l’accueil chaleureux de Davy contribue à faire un excellent séjour.

Super séjour au calme dans cette belle région. La location est top, bien équipée. L'étage est génial et a permis aux enfants d'être autonome. L'endroit est très calme.
