Located in the hamlet of Mutschnengia, the old Camona chalet has been renovated in a spirit of simplicity, comfort and conviviality.
Spacious and pleasant to live in, in an authentic hamlet surrounded by pastures, it has a breathtaking view over the valley and the Medel glacier. Ideal as a starting point for exploring the region on foot, mountain bike, snowshoes or ski touring, depending on the weather and your preferences.
In winter, the Disentis-Sedrun-Andermatt ski area (Ski Arena - almost 200 km of pistes) can be reached in just 1/4 hour by car.

Cosy chalet in a small village in the alps

The host was very nice and provided a lot of useful information in advance. We loved the chalet with its big open living room / kitchen and the beautiful small village around. It's a 15 minutes car ride to the ski resort.

I give the 10-bed home a 1-star lower rating than the 12-bed home--the dust and cobwebs in the 10-bed home were plentiful. Possibly the home had not been recently occupied/cleaned? My rating was not influenced by the home's age. The king bed on the main floor has a broken center support that someone tried to fix with a wooden support block; but the repair was not done well and when my wife got into bed part of it collapsed--a half dozen of the wooden support slats had fallen off the center support. I was able to put the support structure back together; but a proper repair needs doing. One recommendation: towels should be provided--guests are not usually required to travel with their own towels. The venue is wonderful.

Schönes Haus in schöner Lage,. Alles sehr unkompliziert. Die Wohnung ist geräumig und gemütlich. Besonders zu erwähnen ist die erstaunlich gut ausgestattete Küche.

Herrliche Aussicht!

Unsere Zeit mit der Großfamilie in Mutschnengia haben wir sehr genossen. Wunderschönes Bergdorf mit herrlicher Aussicht. Auch für die kleinen Kinder gibt es schöne Ausflugsziele. Mit dem Haus hat alles gut geklappt. Gemütliche Zimmer, super ausgestattete Küche und viele Badezimmer für viele Gäste. Die Betreuung durch die Nachbarin Vorort ist ganz wunderbar.

Fantastisch authentiek chalet

Een compleet huis met goede douches, heerlijke bedden, fijne houtkachel en een zeer complete keuken. Aan de zijkant van het huis een lekker terras. Aan de voorkant van het huis zijn ze waarschijnlijk ook bezig om een terras te bouwen. Hier konden we ‘s ochtends met een kop koffie genieten van het fantastische uitzicht. Brigitte heeft zelfs nog een barbecue uit de kelder gehaald. Helemaal top. Ook de wandelingen in de buurt waren prachtig. En in het dorpje beneden (3 min. met de auto) was een supermarktje. Bedankt voor alles.

Tolle Ferien

Das Haus liegt ziemlich abgelegen, ca. 12 Minuten von Disentis. War über die 5 Serpentinen gut erreichbar, weil es keinen Schnee auf der Strasse hatte. Sollte es Schnee auf der Strasse haben, wäre ein Allradfahrzeug oder Schneeketten sicher von Vorteil. Das Haus ist gross und geräumig. Die tollen Bilder auf der Vermietungssteit sehen aber deutlich besser aus, als der Zustand in Wirklichkeit; aber nicht, dass grosse Mängel vorhanden gewesen wären. Ist einfach älter und weniger professionell ausgebaut, als die Bilder suggerieren. Haus und Küche gut mit dem Nötigsten ausgerüstet. Im ganzen Haus leider nur Eurosteckdosen, die für die schweizer 3-Pole-Stecker nicht gehen. Unbedingt paat Adapter mitnehmen. Die 4 eingebauten Hochbetter sind wirklich nur für Kids gedacht: kein Lattenrost, schlechte Matrazen. Sehr tolle Hausüber- und -abgabe durch freundlichen Nachbarn. Würde ein Bewertung 6 von 10 geben.

Ein leidenschaftlich geführtes Haus

Wir haben uns im Kontakt mit den Vermietern, Ansprechpersonen vor Ort und im Haus sehr wohl gefühlt. Man spürt und sieht die Verbundenheit der Vermieter mit diesem Haus in unzähligen praktischen und liebevollen Details. Für uns (3 Familien mit 7 Kindern, 11-6 Jahre) war es ideal. Lage super, Mgmt. des Objektes eine echte cKatastrophe

Die Bilder im Inserat suggerieren einen anderen Eindruck, als tatsächlich vorhanden. Gut ist die Küche und der Wohnraum. der Rest ist gewöhnungsbedürftig. Das Konzept des Hauses als Selbstversorgerhütte passt nicht. Die Dame vor Ort verweist bei Problemen auf den Vermieter irgendwo in den Niederlanden und dieser verweist darauf, dass er nicht vor Ort ist und wieder zurück. Die Bettwäsche war abgezählt und zu wenig (In Corona Zeiten davon auszugehen, dass sich 7 Männer im Alter zwischen 45 und 49 Jahren unter 3 (!) Bettdecken und auf 5 Kopfkissen verteilen, grenzt fast schon an gefährliche Körperverletzung. Was uns den Aufenthalt trotz der super Lage und dem guten Startpunkt für Skitouren endgültig verdorben hat, war die ständige Bevormundung durch den Vermieter (Tut dies nicht, tut das nicht, das ist verboten, etc.) Man hatte den Eindruck, dass der Vermieter gar keine Lust auf irgendwelche Gäste hat. Die gesamte Hausordnung besteht i.E. fast nur aus Verboten und Verhaltenshinweisen. Haben wir noch nie in einer Selbstversorgerhütte erlebt. Sind ehrlich enttäuscht. Aus dem Objekt und der Lage kann man wirklich etwas schönes machen, aber dann muss auch auf Lust darauf haben!

Herbsturlaub

Zum zweiten Mal waren wir in Mutschnengia und werden ein drittes Mal kommen. Für alle wechselnden Bedürfnisse einer größer werdenden Familie gibt es was zu unternehmen. In der Umgebung gibt es sowieso kein schlechtes Wetter.

Echter Bergurlaub

Einen sehr erholsamen Herbsturlaub mit 3 kleinen Kindern hatten wir. Genug Platz für alle Bedürfnisse, nur kleine ofenunerfahrene Kleinkinder müssen aufpassen. Im Haus ist alles vorhanden was man braucht. Sehr schön sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Lage und Umgebung sind atemberaubend. Wer Bergpanorama, Ruhe und Einsamkeit sucht, wird hier fündig. Bestimmt kommen wir wieder!

Kommen gerne wieder einmal

Wunderschönes Haus an idyllischer Lage. Genügend Platz für 2 Familien. Sehr freundliche Verwalterin, sehr freundlicher Kontakt zur Vermieterin. Haus ist sehr sauber und wir wurden über alles Notwendige sehr gut informiert. Wir werden uns daran erinnern, wenn wir wieder mal Ferien in den Bergen buchen wollen.

Bergwandelplek

Prima uitgeruste en sfeervolle houten woning. De slaapkamers zijn wat somber, maar de douches zijn erg goed. Let op, 3 Vd 5 slaapkamers zijn voor volwassenen. Uitzicht is prachtig, en er ligt een hangbrug in de ‘achtertuin’.
