At the crown of a historic villa built in 1926, La Maison Provençale preserves the charm and soul of the original property—while offering all the modern conveniences to meet travelers’ highest and most exacting standards. The lovingly renovated vacation home has two bedrooms (each with its own en-suite bathroom); a gourmet kitchen opens to an al fresco dining area and a stunning rooftop terrace offers views of the Old Town’s medieval towers, the sparkling sea, and the distant Alps.

Meticulously designed and thoughtfully appointed for up to four guests, La Maison Provençale features a living room, dining/kitchen area, outdoor garden, and plenty of welcoming, open spaces that bring in plenty of light.

Situated in the quiet and quaint Ponteil neighborhood, this vacation home offers visitors easy access to the attractions of Cap d’Antibes and the myriad delights of the Provençal lifestyle. Go from sandy beaches to the shops of Antibes to the restaurants in Juan-les-Pins...all within a few minutes’ walk.

The airy bedrooms can be configured with either a king-sized bed or two twins beds—all fitted with crisp sheets and linens and comfy pillows and mattresses, everything that guests need for truly refreshing sleep.

The chef-ready kitchen comes equipped with a convection oven, stovetop, microwave oven, refrigerator, Nespresso machine, and all the essential pots, pans, utensils, flatware, and stemware.

For guests’ entertainment, we offer a Sony LED TV, cable channels in French and English, and access to Netflix and AppleTV for movies, shows, and children’s programs.

Fire up the gas barbecue grill and enjoy a home-cooked gourmet meal on the outdoor terrace, amid the beauty and blooms of a well-manicured, Provençal-style garden. Or, simply kick back and soak up some Riviera rays on one of our sun lounger.

The Penthouse master bedroom, which features high vaulted ceilings and dazzling views from the private rooftop terrace, has an en-suite bathroom with a large soaking tub and luxurious “experience shower.”

From this central spot on Cap d’Antibes, it’s just a 10-minute walk to the cafes, boutiques, and Marché Provençal at the historic heart of old Antibes and also a 10-minute walk to the restaurants and nightclubs of Juan-les-Pins.

A 5-minute stroll takes you to a number of beautiful beaches (including a private beach with sun loungers). La Maison Provençale is only 15 minutes from the Antibes train station, so no car is necessary to explore all the natural and cultural sites of the Côte d’Azur. But, we do include secure on-site parking.

La Maison Provencale comes fully stocked with all the necessities: free high-speed Wi-Fi, luxury bath products, washer and dryer, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, and even beach towels and beach bags all ready to go. For those with small children, a baby cot, high chair, and security gates are available. Daikin air conditioning and heating are provided each room of the house for the guests’ comfort.

The closest airport is Nice Cote d'Azur airport (about 20 minutes by car/taxi).

We spent three weeks at La Maison Provençal and enjoyed every day in this lovely home. We cooked fabulous meals in the well stocked kitchen, slept like babies in the super comfortable beds and enjoyed the views from each room. Simply wonderful experience from the magnificent garden to the divine interior .

We arrived at La Maison Provencale after dark and were greeted by the wonderful Suzanne who welcomed us to this magnificent property. The garden was beautifully lit up guiding us to the front door.We were given a tour and explanation of all the many conveniences of the home. After a long flight we were so excited to finally be in Antibes. Everything we could possibly need was provided by the gracious hosts. Staying at La Maison Provencale absolutely made our vacation. After days of exploring the area we were always delighted to return to the house. We loved the sunrise and sunset views from every room. Thank you for wonderful memories. We will be back !

Ausserordentlich schöne Villa in Antibes!

Wir (Eltern und zwei Teenager) haben in dieser wunderschön renovierten Villa eine sehr erholsame Woche verbracht - und wären gerne noch länger geblieben. Die Villa liegt leicht erhöht und ist umgeben von einem gepflegten Garten. Strände, Läden und Altstadt sind bequem zu Fuss erreichbar. Cannes und Nizza erreicht man in kurzer Zeit mit dem Zug. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Beautiful tranquil home only minutes from town

La Maison Provençal is a beautifully appointed home. There is a generosity of spirit in the way the house is furnished. A very well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and even towels for the beach. There are views over the town, neighbourhood and garden from every room. The garden spaces are lovely, scents of jasmine and thyme float into the kitchen when the doors are open. The house is a very easy walking distance to town. The food market there is wonderful. Antibes has excellent train and bus links to neighbouring towns and villages so a car is not necessary. Tom and Paul were very helpful, even providing us with a shopping cart. Essential for a visit to the markets. We really enjoyed our two weeks here and would happily return.

An idyllic pied-a-terre for our 2 weeks in Antibes

Maison Provencale truly exceeded our expectations . The house is tastefully designed and luminous thanks to its many terraces and windows . The beds were extremely comfortable and all the linens luxurious - even the beach towels! We loved taking our meals in the exquisite garden and the beautiful heated pool was a pleasure to return to at the end of an exhausting day of explorations of which there were too many. Antibes turned out to be the most central base to visit surrounding villages (Biot, Valbonne, Mougins, St Paul de Vence) and coastal spots such as Theoule sur Mer, La Napoule, Villefranche, St Jean Cap Ferrat...The list is endless. Tom and Paul in fact had compiled a lovely guide book showcasing the history of their town and filled with sights, activities and restaurants recommendations. Both are very proud of their homes and it shows. We do hope we'll have an opportunity to re-visit . Thank you!

Perfect base in Antibes

The Maison Provencal was a perfect base for our stay in Antibes. The location was ideal – an easy walk to both Old Antibes and the beaches. Since we had a car, the private parking was a great asset. The house was as beautiful as it looks on the website – not a generic holiday rental, but a genuine home designed with great care. All the fittings and furniture were of the highest quality. The kitchen was completely equipped for preparing and serving wonderful meals with the ingredients we purchased at the Provencal Market. The Livingroom was tastefully furnished. We especially enjoyed the art on the walls. The bathrooms were both luxurious and practical. We could only dream of having such bathrooms in our New York City apartment! The bedrooms, like everything else in the house, were comfortable and attractive. There was excellent lighting throughout, as well as very effective air conditioning (which we rarely needed). The last thing anyone wants to think about on vacation is ironing, but having the iron and ironing board set up in the laundry room made even that task more pleasant. Another very special asset of the Maison Provencal was its three (!) beautifully landscaped outdoor spaces. We tried to use each of them every day, but our favorite was the balcony off the penthouse suite. We spent almost every evening there watching the changing light over the city. Kudos to Tom and Paul who created this wonderful environment and who were so responsive to our every communication both before and during our stay. All their recommendations for restaurants and places to go were spot-on. Also, thanks to Suzanne, their property manager who greeted us on arrival, answered our questions during our stay, and saw us off when it was time to leave. If we return to Antibes, we wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else.

simply ideal

We were lucky enough to spend two weeks at Le Calado. The house is beautifully designed, the decor is charming, modern and very tasteful and every detail has been carefully thought through...down to the linens and the lovely towels and beach bags! The pool is magnificent and the gardens are beautiful. Le Calado is nicely situated between Antibes and Juan les Pins, providing easy walks to the old town of Antibes and the lively beaches in both areas. Truly, all of the properties owned and managed by these owners are impeccable and exceed their descriptions. To summarize, Le Calado is simply ideal in every way.

After spending several years vacationing in Antibes, we decided to make it our home and embark on our journey of procuring unique homes in and around the ramparts of the old town.

Why they chose this property

Maison Provencale is truly an amazing property that is well situated a short 10 minute walk to the centre of old Antibes and less than 10 minutes from the nearest sandy beach (Plage de Ponteil). It is in a quiet residential neighbourhood surrounded by other villas built in the 1920s.
The home has a lovely Provencale-style garden complete with a dining area for four guests under a canapé of grape vines.
The sunny roof terrace is located just off of the Penthouse with amazing views of the old town of Antibes, the mountains and the sea.

What makes this property unique

Given the ideal location of Maison Provencale, no car is needed to have a fantastic holiday here. However, we do have a secured parking lot if you do choose to drive. Our guests like to enjoy the gardens--complete with sun loungers, dining area, and gas barbecue. Antibes is a charming town on the French Riviera that has restaurants and shops open all year long. The town also is also provides a perfect base for exploring the region with Nice, Cannes, Eze, St Paul de Vence and Monaco all within 30 to 45 minutes of Antibes.
