Maison coloniale de luxe dans la vieille ville de Carthagène avec cuisinier et personnel.

La maison dispose de 6 chambres doubles, 2 avec lits doubles et 4 avec 2 lits simples chacune. Toutes avec salle de bain, climatisation, ventilateurs de plafond, internet WiFi, 3 avec TV. Piscine reliée à un grand jacuzzi, un autre jacuzzi sur la terrasse ensoleillée, une grande cuisine. agencement, deux salons, un extérieur au rez-de-chaussée et un au premier étage avec climatisation.
Les murs sont ornés d'œuvres d'artistes colombiens bien connus.
À quelques pas, il y a deux supermarchés pour vos achats ainsi que de nombreux magasins et vendeurs de rue où vous pouvez vraiment tout trouver.
L'administrateur et trois personnes de service s'occuperont de tous vos Il a besoin. Notre concierge peut vous fournir tout: une baby-sitter, un chef, un bateau pour aller aux îles Rosario (40 min.). Vous n'aurez qu'à demander. Le cuisinier pourra cuisiner des plats typiques de la gastronomie locale et la femme de chambre gardera la maison propre.

We had an amazing stay in Cartagena. The property is absolutely beautiful and very well maintained, everything was clean, comfortable, and exactly as shown in the listing. A special mention goes to Yoli, who was incredibly attentive throughout our stay. She took great care of us and prepared delicious meals that truly made the experience even more special. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Cartagena.

Perfection

The house is so lovely and comfortable and clean and well-located, and the staff is amazing. We particularly enjoyed the DELICIOUS daily lunches and dinners prepared for us. WOW! We had a large multi-age group, and having meals prepared in the home was a treat, providing a relaxing way to gather and enjoy local cuisine. We are so grateful!

Spacious “enconto” home in a great location!

Beautiful home really close to all the things to see in Cartagena. Everything walkable. The porter, chef and house maid were very nice and helpful. We appreciate their help and the wonderful meals they made for us.

Beautiful house in a great location for walking in old town. House staff was very friendly and helpful - speaking Spanish is a must or comfort using a translation app. One full day of power outage was the only downside and the staff kept us informed. Great space for a group of 9. Cook made excellent breakfasts and one dinner. Was nice to have filtered water available in the kitchen as well.

This is a comfortable historic house for a large family group. It is charming with an open air center patio, built around an enormous palm tree. The bedrooms have air conditioning, which is very important because Cartagena is HOT. The pool is on the small side, but it was a beautiful place to gather and cool off, and the additional tub on the rooftop was great, especially to see the night stars.The house has been carefully updated, and each of the bedrooms has its own very nice bathroom. There were some minor glitches with plumbing and air conditioning, but Hernando worked quickly to get those fixed. There is lots of common space to gather.The house is in a great location in the walled city on a quiet and very charming street, but close to restaurants and action, and an easy walk to the Getsemame neighborhood. We liked that the teens and young adults in our family group could easily walk out and explore on their own. A large grocery store is close by.The best thing about the house is the staff. Hernando will help with booking arrangements, drivers, etc., and takes care of things around the house. Yoleida is the cook. They are both kind and dedicated, and at least one of them is always there, so we always felt safe and well cared for. It was a real money saver and convenience to have Yoli cooking for us. We gave her money for groceries and she made us beautiful meals. Her roast chicken, coconut rice, and avocado salad were all particularly fabulous.

Unbelievable House and Experience

1st- everything in the description and posting is accurate. 2nd- Hernando and the staff are absolute rockstars. The food they prepare is amazing with so much love. Hernando will go above and beyond to make sure the guests are getting taken care. It is a 24/7 service. 3rd-The house is in spectacular location, which is close to the markets, street vendors, clubs, shops, ocean etc. When I return to Cartagena this will be the place we stay at everytime

The owner, Guidobruno, is very responsive and answered all the questions I needed prior to arrival and made me feel comfortable booking the property. The property itself looks better than the pictures. It has a large outdoor living area and a second large air conditioned indoor living room on the second floor. The rooftop with jacuzzi had a cool view and the pool was clean and a great part of the house. Felix and the staff were very nice and accommodating and would clean after every night. We were very impressed with the space and the bedrooms were comfortable and much better than the pictures look. I would absolutely recommend this place. The location is perfect and a very convenient to get around old city. We felt safe the entire time we were at the property.

Perfect property

This is an incredible property in the heart of the walled city. The space is incredibly beautiful and comfortable, and the staff are great. The only issue that we had was difficulty with the address in the listing which lacked the house number (9-104). This caused us some delay at customs. Our driver also had difficulty finding it. But, once we got here, we could not have asked for a better place to stay. Cartagena is wonderful and vibrant. The ale usual precautions and be aware of your surroundings, but we always felt safe and evenings out shopping and dining I. The walled city were great! Also, be sure to have the concierge arrange a boat for you one day! It was worth it!

Wonderful old world feel but you need Spanish speaker

The property was gorgeous and located securely within the walled city. I would recommend having the caretaker show you how to work all lights, fans, a/c in each room so you don’t wake up in the middle of the night hot. Someone in your party needs to speak Spanish to communicate effectively with the staff. We found that to be a challenge even though I spoke a little Spanish. My husband got there earlier than the rest of us (me and our 4 adult daughters) so he could check out the place. Caretaker asked if he needed help getting a boat or if he wanted some girls. My husband found that funny, I however did not. The house was always clean, just ask for more towels for the bath. We only had breakfast in the villa each day that was prepared by Veronica and we enjoyed it. We provide a list of groceries and the money up front and then they buy the food for you. We gave them all a nice tip because we were there over Christmas and we appreciated all of their service during our stay.

Oasis to come home to

My family and friends (a total of 12 people) stayed here for Christmas and New Years. Cartagena is a bustling little city at that time Quite often an overload to the senses. So to ring the doorbell and have Hernando (the house manager) greet us after every excursion was a breath of fresh air. Physically, the house is magnificent. The luxury of having a bathroom for each of the six bedrooms was very appreciated. Lots of closet space, comfortable beds and a/c in each. The common areas are huge and well laid out. It’s stunning to sit in the downstairs (yes there are two) living room to gaze at the grotto all the way through to the swimming pool. A gorgeous old palm tree is the focal point of the courtyard. The house has been updated (many times in 300 years) but the “feel” is still of an authentic grand casa. We cooked several dinners at home and the kitchen is well stocked and roomy. But I have saved the best for last. It’s the staff who are the stars. Hernando (Nando), Veronica and Yoli are the warmth and charm and professionalism you can only wish for. They are here every day, but always in the background. Their breakfasts amazing! They make you feel like it’s your home. I must mention Guidobruno the owner. He was exceptionally good to communicate with. We are sad to go, but since we have enjoyed every minute of being here, are grateful for what we had. This place has our full recommendation to others that want to enjoy it. We are jealous!

Very clean and describes! Both the host and staff are fantastic, the food was great and would recommend having at least one dinner cooked at the house! Breakfast is great and was very convenient as we had breakfast cooked every morning. Having an onsite host who helped arrange things like our boat to the islands, transportation, dinner reservations, and anything we needed was great. Great experience for our family of 5!

Beautiful house with incredible staff

We could not have asked for a better stay at Guidobruno's house! Because we were a group of 12, including 6 children ages 6-11, we wanted space to spread out and also have a little privacy. The house was spectacular -- much bigger than in the photos, with an open first floor layout, two huge living rooms, very comfortable beds, pools for the kids to play in, outdoor showers, beautiful plantings, a front balcony from which to watch the world go by.... I could go on. Even more spectacular than the house was the staff -- Hernando, Veronica, Joli, and Olga. Hernando got us whatever we needed, arranged excursions, and made us all feel welcome, safe, and secure during our stay. Hernando also was wonderful to chat with, and as a native of Cartagena had a wealth of information for us. He was always available when we needed him. Veronica's meals will be greatly missed by us as we return home! Each day she put out lovely spreads of Colombian food, with fresh fruit and juices, arepas made by hand, delicious patacones con hogao, arroz con pollo, carne asada, pollo guisado -- anything we desired! She also did all of the food shopping for us, and with Joli and Olga kept the house clean and tidy, which was very much appreciated since we were such a large group with kids! Joli and Olga were super sweet and did a great job keeping the house in order -- clean sheets and towels, tidying up after all of the kids, laundering our endless laundry, etc. Overall, a beautiful house with incredible staff! We certainly will return.

Great Experience

This property was FIRE! It was the perfect set up for 5. Everyone had their own room, their own space. We gave the cooks money to get us food. Whatever you want to have for breakfast, let them know and they will go and get the groceries to make it for you. They will even ask you when you want it so it can be ready fresh for you. The pool was a great feature for entertaining. Most of all Hernando, He was the host with the most. Cool, chill and even great to talk to you. Very accommodating and knowledgeable about everything. Ideally located. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone whether it is a birthday party, bachelor trip, vacation with friends etc. You won't regret. Only thing that needs to improve is the Wi-Fi. It wasn't the greatest but that was only complaint. Would I go back? ABSOLUTELY. No question.

Beautiful Home

The home is absolutely beautiful and the staff is very attentive! We live here with great pleasure various months per year and we are really happy when we can share this experience with friends or guests. Colombia unfortunately has a very bad fame, but this regards only a very small part of it. The great majority of the country and its people is beautiful and very welcoming.
If you read "100 years of solitude" when young you will be surprised to find out that Gabriel Garcia Marquez didn't put any fantasy in his book he merely described what happened and happens even today in Cartagena. You will find the improbable names, absurd situations, unbelievable places he described.
You will find yourselfs in the magic of the Pearl of the Caribbean, you will be caught by the slow motion of life and the heat will surround you.
By a white Panama hat and you'll be in another era.

Buying our house was a" coup de foudre". We saw it in 2007 and immediately decided to buy it. It has been restored with all our love and with a total respect of the characteristics and materials of 3 centuries ago. Starting 2008 we came to Cartagena more and more. Now we are travelling and spend more ore less 6 months in our beautiful house.
Our porter can find you almost everything: a baby sitter, a chef, a boat for a trip to the Rosario Islands (40 min). Just ask him. Don't trust anybody offering you services in the streets.
